Well deserved, farewell to HARRY HILLS, TV BURP!
Dan you legend!
"But Harry Hill was purely given it as a swan song and a thank you for 10 years of top hilarity and entertainment"
Exactly, which is precisely why the award was undeserved. If they wanted to give the guy an award that celebrates all his television career, then they should have waited until next year to give him a lifetime achievement award or something. The award was for "Best Comedy Entertainment Program of 2012"
This is the comedy awards, the kind of comedians you generally get here look down upon things like Celeb Juice. Harry Hill however is a well respected comedian. He was always going to win.
Hey, im not saying its not a funny program and he's not a funny guy! And he's bound to win a few in the future. But Harry Hill was purely given it as a swan song and a thank you for 10 years of top hilarity and entertainment
Leigh Francis needs to recognise that, just once, an occasion isn't actually about him.
Thoroughly undeserved, I think you'll find.
Celeb Juice should have taken home the award.
I didn't think Harry Hills, TV Burp contained anything more than just home videos, it's like bad reddit. I wouldn't think that deserves a comedy award over the other nominations.
Your right, Harry Hill is getting out at the right time and maybe in someway yes Celebrity Juice should of won something, but there was a lot of winners who shouldnt of been, and a lot of lossers that shouldnt of been! I mean Jack Whitehal comedy king?! Please!
Exposure outside of his program should have no bearing....on the quality of his program.
All I'm saying, is that that wasn't anywhere near the best year for that show. In fact, that was a poor last year for that show. It'd gotten old and stale. With Juice, however,2012 was a very good year that was full of life and fun and laughter.
Maybe your right, but I think he's not quite there yet when it comes to a lifetime achuevement
No, Keith Lemon gets far to much exposure, he's a funny character, but were getting sacherated with him now, less is more
