This is such a Massive project it has challenged me more than anything before it, sorry updates have had bigger gaps than i'd want but progress is ongoing and its shaping up to be an epic space, thanks for following along and watching. what bit are most intrested in next (other than the car lift lol)
hi
Not good enough 😂 we need regular updates
Bros gonna get commissioned for government bunkers atp 💀
Hi please stay safe and don't get cancer
Never ever apologize for delays, Colin! Quality over quantity.
Your wife is wonderful! How she's supporting all your crazy projects - shoutout to her!
I saw a mini-Colin in there too.
@@artor9175 Whole family is amazing! 😍
Miss. Furze is just as badass as Colin
Money
I was going to comment exactly this! Haven’t seen much of Charlotte in previous videos but she’s sure grafting in this one - great work!
The part of this I'm most in awe of is your neighbours' patience/tolerance for the whole project.
Yeah, if I lived next door I wouldn't be very happy to see someone take out all the rock foundation of their house...
@@lptomtom I would take a educated guess and say Colin owns next door too.
I think he now owns that house as well.
If I was their neighbours I would be vblogging every day its being worked on. Neighbours notes or something lol.
Its a SECRET garage so who told them?
20:03 Great to see the Rhinox ripper in-action✨This is going to be incredible once it’s complete - our whole team love watching📸
That thing is a great example of how simple is often better.
That’s the shape my hand is when I scratch my balsac
@@mrlee9213 😅😅😅😂
@@Rhinox-Group no lie, this is social media engagement done well - give whoever was in charge of this a bonus!
Rhinox Ripper, or as I want to call it, Razer from Robot Wars
can we appreciate Colin making all his sponsored segments unique and interesting. going to the Bahamas for an ad read, what a legend. keep it up!
Makes a nice Bahamas holiday a tax write off
I'm glad Freddie still continues to make appearances. He's a fun addition to these videos.
I was going to say the same thing. He so funny 😂
Those speech bubbles were likely extremely accurate lol
When the entire project is done, this needs to be made into a full feature length movie with an epic trailer and even maybe made in to a climactic two parter.
Just like ichy boots did with her motorcycle adventure. Great idea👍🤝🤝🇺🇸
Yes!! Definitely!
This is the last of the trilogy. Bunker, tunnel, garage.
@@SephBane Except he also plans to dig out the tunnel on the other side to the bunker, connecting all 3, meaning Tunnel gets a part 2
@@derdrolftesinn yes it should
I've been following you since that first Wall of Death video. For a long time I assumed Charlotte was a saint. After watching this episode it became clear to me that your lovely wife is a willing partner in your exquisite madness. Kudos to you Charlotte and of course my favorite brilliant madman. Thanks for all the fun.
You know she's his ride or die through all this madness.
It really is great to see her helping with the project, she's absolutely a keeper. Seeing couples working together on stuff like this warms my heart.
I think that was the first video I watched. Then the massive pulse jet fart cannon to France committed me for life 😂
I've been an apprentice to a local contractor, and it's given me so much more appreciation for the work you do.
Keep it going Colin. You're a bonafide legend 💪
What a fantastic update and great to see the project move on so much. The fact its been so few people involved in doing this makes it an even more amazing build! Looking forward to the next update, Colin.
Colin... Doing stuff, is a BINGE WATCH for the masses. So much education, humour, danger and yet so thoroughly enjoyable on every level. Than you Colin, and TEAM, for bring much needed FAB entertainment. Cheers to all here :)
Dude the music in your videos is so great, never stop doing that! There is so much real music out there and everyone on RUclips uses the same 3 stock songs. Thank you colin for supporting music since always!
lol it’s probably the only thing that puts me off the main channel. Nondescript tat, but each to their own.
yeah I was gonna say to that this part's selection was spot on, I even added some of them to my collection, and TIL that there is a genre called Garage Rock :DDD kinda makes sense Colin started in a garage, paired it with garage rock music, BAAM, Colin style! :P he kinda made it his own.
This is the best project on RUclips full stop.
Colin's neighbours are also absolute LEGENDS for going along with his antics!!
Saw this project the other week ,drove past and had to stop and say hello to the great man himself lived in the town for a few years and never realised he lived 2 minutes up the road great project can’t wait to see it finished! 🤙🏼
Well done Colin and wife, and tom lamb this is a truly massive project
Nice to see you supporting your house foundations with new concrete. That'll make it easier to dig out under your house next ;-)
Jeez I’m knackered just watching this. Fantastic bit of filming and editing. Thank you to all concerned for making this happen.
It's looking so good, great job by Tom, Chris and all the companies supporting this insane idea. Wonderful to see Mrs Furze getting involved, thank you for allowing Colin to do this and invite all of us into your lives. God bless you all
LMAO Freddy's Maltese. I was like why tf am i understanding this hahahaha
Same 😂
I had a mini freak out, that was completely unexpected, When i heard it...i'm like wait a second. . .O.O
ohh so thats which language, sounded like greek or portugese to me lol
same here, it took a second to process that the language was suddenly Maltese, super weird hahaha 😂😂
For a second there I didn’t realise it was my mother tongue 😂
That was so sweet of your mom!
How wonderful 😊
Just imagine the shock in like 50-70 years when someone unknowingly buys this property and finds out that the British batman lived here
He has to list his house as a bunker with home attached due to some UK law
I'm pretty sure they will know about it before they buy it 😑
If he’s British, wouldn’t he be “Batfellow”?
Batlad
Batbloke
Man this was a big update, I was expecting another section not the whole thing, maybe talking about how the lift was going to go in. No wonder this update took a hot second. That was an impressive amount of work. It looked pretty awesome with the natural rock walls, I know you couldn't keep it like that because of structural support, but that was a nice look.
i'm going to reflec the rock look in what i plan on doing though
@@colinfurze Perspex box mounted to the inside of the wall filled with some of the rocks you excavated ? Would give the illusion of a window.
@@M0IDW Aquarium with those rocks as backdrop
@@colinfurze could speak with nerdforge to make a foam relpica of the rock face, put it in a steel box behind the wall, and put a window on it, would look like the rock is still there, but it would all be foam.
@@colinfurze Take a high resolution picture of the end rock face. Finish the u/g garage, paint the end wall white and project picture onto it! Simples! 😷
Ogni volta che c’è Tom a lavorare mi mette il buonumore
Arguably one of my favorite projects I ever watched on RUclips. Colin you rock!
Whenever I see Colin video coming out I know its gonna be something EPIC! KEEP ON this madness Colin you are almost there!!
I was just taking a break from my own project and sat down with a cup of tea and saw you just posted this! Perfect just what I needed. Love your videos and this Project , Colin. Your wife is amazing- love seeing the partnership and you are a blessed man to have not just the okay to dig up your house but she’s helping you get it done! ❤
Colin you never cease to amaze me, you are smashing this project. The stuff of boyhood dreams
agreed!
I don’t think it’s just boys, he’s just awesome
@@spangenbob yeah he did mention the gaps between uploads were longer than he'd normally do. But it doesn't matter, always happy to see new videos.
@@spangenbob he filmed that forever ago and has been making second channel vids about progress the whole time. why would he delay an upload for literally no reason?
It’s not amazing me any more. Getting fed up not seeing the finished product.
The dedication to your sponsors is incredible lol. Most people just stare at a camera and talk. Excellent video, as always! Can't wait for the next one.
You should be so bloody proud of yourself Mr Furze, and your 'team' of grafters, outstanding work and maximum effort... it's gonna be the. best. garage. ever!👍🏼
You have the perfect ratio of the video from the second channel and this.
Absolutely perfect!
Always dig the music, Colin! Whenever you put out a video I always watch it on the home theater with the good sound.
This whole time I thought Colin was saying "Irish J". I guess I beams are also called "RSJ" (rolled steel joist).
Omg same
I'm so happy you're doing this. We need more people doing cool, risky, non-traditional shit like this!
My favorite British madlad is at it again. Never stop being you, Colin. Lord know we need more people like you pursuing their passions like this.
love the ice cream quick break.
Quick but in slow mo :p
I bet that was Tom's favorite part of the whole project! lol
@@ShootLuckGaming I suspect the ice cream break is tied with Colin's Mum bringing that beautiful cake!
Ice Cream Van route:
Park
Playground
Town Square
Colin's House
Duck Pond
In the states in basements or underground garages theirs a corner or box that’s even lower where the lift is just in case or flood or fluid spills or power washing draining or a bathroom
I would run a water line to wash hands in the garage for light maintenance on the car.
This drain box has a pump that can handle oils an grease and heavy pumps for sewage,
Just an idea for future prep now a water line electrical conduit line and a sewer line into a corner of the bunker also ventilation ductwork? . . . Over thinkin it . . .
I think he talked about having a sump well (which is what that feature is called) in the first video with the scale model.
Wow, amazing. So much work, so much effort, so much slow mo. You edit the videos to be so fun and jovial, but a huge project like this has a lot of hard work and frustration behind it. Amazing.
The trust in the house not falling down or moving, is mind-blowing! That, and the patience of your family and neighbours! Maaaaaad!
Absolutely awesome balance of content between this and the second channel! So much stuff here that just wasn't expected having seen all the second channel videos too.
Keep it up!!!
Colin working on your storytelling and I must say its excellent! You really do deserve millions of views!
Colin went from a bloke making modified drifting motorscooters to full blown structural engineer lol. Brilliant 👍
I love the accidental slow mo bits
I'm loving this tunnel/garage building saga, it's like a favorite scifi series of mine I can come back to from time to time and it always gives me comfort and nice watching experience, no matter where am I in the world and in my life :) I've been following the tunnel and garage building from the beginning, and never missed a part, I even watch the 2nd channel thingys too, and I really like and appreciate the work you put into it and also the mood, with the music with your antics, the whole :) I also like that you expand your universe with showing your Missus, Kid and Tom and others it just makes it that more livelier :)
Im so glad im here to witness this project while its actually happening... Oh what a wonderful time to be living in.... I can hardly wait to see it completed... ❤❤
Hi Colin, loving the project, however you do realise on 1:40 of the video you give your street name away
Oh Colin! 😂🤦🏼♂️
I'm pretty sure his house wouldn't be too hard to find!
His home town is widely reported in the public domain in news articles and I'm sure he gets uninvited visitors interested in his project that he doesn't show in his content so not to encourage more. I was bored a few years ago and found the house on Google Earth just from the name of the town. The back garden even has a photo pin drop labelled 'Underground Bunker' on Google Maps. He's not controversial or unpleasant and comes across as a likable bloke so anyone motivated enough to turn up unannounced aren't likely to have any ill will towards him or his property. He takes precautions like taping over his house number when filming to minimise unwanted attention and when he slips up showing street signs the majority of viewers aren't as eagle eyed as you. If he reads your comment and is bothered he'll likely trim out that bit in YT Studio and give you a sarcastic but warm hearted comment thanking you for drawing attention to it.
Love that your neighbor has been supporting of this as well, feel like this would be A LOT more difficult if you didn't have their front drive/garden to use for the digger etc.
Completely agree
i must say that i really liked the random slowmo pits in :D keep up the great work
This project is just completely next level. Its actually unbelievable what I've seen happening on your channel these last 4 years. You're a legend
I love that you and Tom honestly look like you're having fun this whole time!!!!
Is it just me? I cant wait until this is done to not only see this amazing project work… but i want to go back and binge watch all these videos
You definitely now need either an elevator or a nice staircase up into the house. The ladder is fine for you , but Mrs Furze and Grandma Furze deserve something a bit more genteel... 😇
They can sit in the car when it's lifted up or down :D
A secret staircase!
A nice paternoster maybe? Sounds right up Colin's alley
Wettest winter ever? Lol. As your winter is just about to start.
I'm so confused about that. So this video has been half a year in the making?
@@kexerino yeah its basiclly over 4 months.
Maybe he meant to say Wettest Summer ever. As English summer is kind of like winter.
ever look at a map?
If you watch his second channel videos, a lot of this progress started many months ago.
I am genuinely excited to see this when it is finished. Amazing project.
Your Missus is an absolute diamond, I hope there is a nice long weekend lined up for her when this is all done 🙂
i would defo create a "box duct" to contain the services at this stage - - - before you pour the concrete roof.
This could be the norm on a new house build. A little bit of underground space for a guest room, games room etc. doesn’t affect the footprint of the house, doesn’t block anyone’s light etc. it’s a win-win.
@@2Sorts it already is in London, and it's causing massive problems with noise, vibration, subsidence, even complete structural collapses...
so....a basement?
Basemets are wax more expensive to build
@@jorgejiminez-rk1uu Well, kind of, but one that extends beyond the footprint of the house, like this one does.
@@richardharrold9736 Really? Sounds like a badly built kind of a setup.
One day deep into the future maybe 200 years from now your kids, kids , kids decide to move and someone comes to view this house before they buy it will be in utter shock, disbelief, and amazement!!! I couldn't imagine this could be any better then it is so Jealous! Good for you!
or this project will kick off a trend and in 200 years ALL houses will have mandatory underground secret garages.
We can hope for a trend, but sadly, it may become a requirement.
I cannot wait to see that DMC rise out of the ground!! Colin, your neighbors must have so much patience for this huge project, not to mention the endless contraptions over the years. Kudos to them for letting you show us this masterpiece. You are a creative genius Mr furze and I'll forever be a subscriber to both of your channels, thank you for your work.
Definitely blessed with the neighbors.
The flossing💀
i was looking for this comment lol
0:13 winter? What? It’s bloody October!
Edit: nvm. I saw his other video. Ignore me.
0:11 bro just said winter is over ... bro its november soon ... ur nearly in winter again
I was also confused at first, but the last tunnel video came out in march
You have to remember this is in the UK, our summers only last two weeks somewhere in July then it's back to winter for another year.
This is just the best,I’m a 71 year old man who would love to own this.can you imagine the estate agent showing prospective buyers around and trying to explain why it’s the most expensive house on the estate.👍🇬🇧
if you watch the video you can see how much work this took, actually absurd
if you follow him on his second channel, you'd know that the start of this video was shot at the beginning of this year. This is a compilation of all what happened in 2024 so far on this project.
I legitimately check youtube daily waiting for your next Secret Garage update. Thank you so much for building what I can only explain as what I assume is my ultimate purpose
Madness. You have the most understanding neighbours every mate! 👌I love it!
Winter ? Summer is just done collin ? UK gets the same season as the netherlands ?
More or less, both the UK and the Netherlands can get four seasons in one day. And I missed summer this year, it was on a Tuesday when I had to work ;)
Obviously a big delay between filming this and releasing it on youtube.
1:13 "The front fell off"
This comment scrolled through as he's in front of the model explaining why he can't dig the whole thing out xD
@@kaeota "Yeah that's not very typical, I'd like to make that point."
I absolutely love that shot 1:45
😂 Guess who's back...
Gonna watch this project 3 times. Second channel free form. Main channel episodic. And finally the whole thing put together in the cinematic. Just like the other projects I've watched three times!!!
Your house is like a children's playground in the sense of "Ooh can I do that!" Absolutely love the work you've done on your house over the last 9-10 years.... I've been here since the bunker and am wondering what your next project is gonna be 🥰
You are a legend Colin, keep it up 👌
Been waiting all week for this update!
This is nuts.
Instantly clicked
Tunnel aside, what a brilliant video. The way the music dynamics pump you up, the way the camera shots are taken… simply a masterpiece.
You have some great neighbors to tolerate blocking up the front of their flat all the time. Those folks deserve some major displays of gratitude!
Let him cook and dig
you know you probally should drop the whole "secret" part with everyone on the street can see you building it...
They saw the "shhh, it's a secret" notice during the first big dig. They cool.
bros house is gonna become a museum piece in the future, like u cant just sell this normally, gonna have to be the colin furze museum
What I look forward to is all of your idea’s on waterproofing the garage. Things such as:
- What kind of lid/door(s) will you use on top of the lift? Integrated with the lift? Or separately operated so you could lift larger projects in and out?
- How will you drain rainwater from the gap between that door and the driveway?
- How can you keep it dry in the garage when raising or lowering the car?
- Do you expect condensation on your garage roof everytime you raise or lower the car?
So far you managed it and the enclosed bunker and tunnel did not have the biggest issues, up until you started digging back to the surface with the garage.
I reckon you want to keep your future car palace nice and tidy (and dry).
Good luck with the remainder Colin, stay safe.
@colinfurze I have to say, if all the RUclips channels I watch, yours has the best soundtracks!! Thanks for helping keep Punk Rock alive!!
So much info in one vid, never been done before, awsome ,cant wait for the next one !!!
First off, this has been an incredible journey to follow 👌
Secondly I hope the bricky that built your house and though "that'll do, nobody will see it" sees this and "what a shoddy bit of brick work" 🤣🤣🤣
This project is insane!! Just this room project is insane!! Can’t wait to see it completed!!
MOST Impressive EDIT... Days and hours upon hours of footage to a GREAT 25min video.... very COOL COLIN!
Amazing build, i cant wait to see the end result. alot of work and effort is going into that build. Hats off to you all.
Loved the energy of this video. Thank you for seeing it through Colin. Also...happy belated birthday!
Love how a Delorean was used! Brilliant! Can’t beat the famous Back to The Future car!
Your neighbours are legends for letting you use their front garden!
I've been in construction my entire life damn near. And I must say 👏🏻👏🏻 bravo. Your not cutting any corners infact your going above and beyond in some cases. Very impressed 👍🏻 hurry up with the next one already!
Impeccable effort technically, musically, editorially and visionary.
I think I have a solution to your window. Instead of an air gap, fill it with clear resin. Boom!
Colin, you're a true DIY genius! Every time I see one of your projects, I wonder what you'll come up with next. The concrete pipe idea was absolutely brilliant! Can't wait to see the secret garage finished-let's hope the weather cooperates. Great job by Tom too! 🍕 + 🍦 = perfect motivation! Keep it up! 👏🚀
Only good vibes on this channel. Thanks for this video Colin. Cheered me right up
Internets bestest video series!! No competition!
You're an animal colin this is totally awesome thanks for bringing us along in this awesome adventure
So good to see Charlotte in the video!
I couldn’t help appreciating the concrete pour over the first section. Good quality concrete. Solid.
Finally a new video . Man it's been a while . I've been checking colinfurze channels every couple days for new videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Colin, please make sure the hole for the car is large enough to get your van up and down into the garage too. You'll need your van going up and down to remove all the rock and dirt for the future "Secret Underground Mining Elevator Shaft" in the back garden that goes downward into the Earth 50 meters.
the work that u put into these projects is mind blowing.keep the videos coming u very talented man
