Crochet Pineapple Stitch Shawl (pt1/2)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 23 мар 2016
- This video is the first part of two for the pineapple stitch shawl. It's a very easy pattern, even a beginner can follow, the only thing that seems difficult is that every pineapple is completed in many rows. Other than that it's a repetition up until you finish your shawl.
The link to the free pattern from Ravelry (it's not my pattern):

Greetings from France, a dream come true 💕 PINEAPPLE SHAWL. CONGRATULATIONS 🏆🏆🏆🌹I did make one 5 years ago but on a different channel. It was explained in Arab so I had to mute it and follow the kind lady's fingers but got stuck on the 8th row. Guess what GAVE UP R.I.P😥😱. You are THE BEST ADORABLE Teacher for shawls on RUclips. Your voice is so soft and a pleasure to listen to. A step by step tutorial WITH NO ANNOYING FORWARD WIND, explained in detail. A very great tip on the 5 chains to five boxes for the pineapple, a great help. A well planned tutorial so easy to UNDERSTAND and FOLLOW. Wowwwzy just great. Thanks a million for sharing caring and making a 70 year old SMILE, a bowl of oxygen. A big hug. 👍👍👍⚘⚘⚘🌹🌹🌹🥰🥰🥰
Thank you very much for your beautiful comment!! I'm very happy you found the tutorial helpful! ❤❤❤
@@KikiCrochet You are AMAZING. 🥰⚘🌹💗

Thank you very much!! :D :D
I never thought I could make anything this beautiful, but your video was great. Thank you.
Hello Kiki! This is Exactly the pattern I have been searching for!! You teach it very well!! I had no problem following you! The shawl is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you very much, Di!! :) :)
This is beautiful. You teach very good. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! :)
Gorgeous!
This is absolutely so easy to follow that in a lot of rows I was actually working ahead of you. I'm using Lady Lydias Super 10 crochet thread and a size 3.0mm hook and it is coming out just gorgeous!!! I think I already know how to progress from here (at the junction of the two shells in the middle, I'm betting we'll do that "2 sets of four...basically 2 shells with ch 2 in the middle" to bring them together and set up for another pineapple eventually. But... off to part 2 to see if I'm right, LOL! Thank you so much... this is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I'm making it for a friend that bought a kind of "hawaiian print" summer dress with spaghetti straps and she wanted something to throw over her shoulders. All I could think was.... pineapples!
WOW!!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!! YOU ARE SO TALENTED!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!

+eliana wylie Aww, I feel you, I had to rip from row 15 to row 12 I think in the beginning when I first tried the pattern because I didn't follow the steps for the new pineapple in the middle to start! Let me know if you're still having trouble, so i can help a little more!
Now I got it, thank you Kiki 😍

Hi. Love this. Can't find on Ravalry. Where is the about place so I can print it out as well as your lovely video?
Thank you so much for that it’s really great but do you think maybe you could work a little slower in your next tutorial for some of us beginners.
thank you for the video very helpful
Thank you for the feedback!! :D :D
Love the tutorial. could you please do an English tutorial on a mandala circular vest or duster? They're a hot item right now. Thank you.
Thank you very much!! I will be making one later on, hopefully before the end of April.
What I really want to know is the first pineapple we finished we did a single double crochet do we put one double crochet on top of the other double crochet at the. Beginning of the row to start another pineapple
Great work .how many grams oes it take plz?
Thank you! It took about 3 skeins, 100gr each one.
@@KikiCrochet thanks I'll do it soon
thank you
:D :D
Hello, how much of total yardage of the yarn is required for this shawl please ?
Do we put a double crochet on to of the other pineapples we start like we did the first one
i try it
perfect
Thank you! :D
hi thats awesome and lovely work ...can u plz recomend which wool to buy ..any number or type ...it looks like so soft and thin wool..loved it...
Thank you very much! This is light weight yarn, and the reason that's soft is because it's half acrylic/ half cotton. If you were in Greece I would be able to tell you what yarn to use but in other countries I don't know what yarn they use, brand names etc.
Please can someone post the website or link to written pattern? Great video Kiki. Thank you. I have done oval pineapple tablecloths but it was many years ago! Concerned about i.e. Increase rows!
Hello, Marilyn. Sorry I took too long to answer, this is the link for the shawl.
www.cascadeyarns.com/patternsFree/DK234_UltraPimaShawl.pdf
This is a beautiful pattern..however, I can't go any further than the end of the 2nd video. :( Can't remember where to crochet 3 or 5.. :(
+Sherrie Miller Thank you, Sherrie! It will really help you, if you write down the steps (or you can download the free pattern from raverly, whose link I have in the about section). When I stop the video, you'll just follow the same exact steps you did earlier in orfer to start your new pineapple! Let me know, if you're still confused so I can help more!
I know what you mean, I am having a hard time after the second video. I know most people do not have problem figuring it out, but I am having a hard time I would not mind following a video that completes the shawl,I know it probably would be boring to most people but i know that there are others like me out there!
Thank you very much for your response. I love your tutorials. :)
how would you make this into a circular throw, please?
This would definitely need a different pattern to become a circular project.
Hi Kiki Love your tutorial. I 'm just finished row16, do I now start row 10 -16 and keep repeating these rows.Thank You! Keep up the good work you do.
Hello, Laura! Thank you very much and sorry for taking sso long to answer!! Yes, start at row 10 and go on, and don't forget to do your increasing rows!! Here's the written pattern as well (it's under the video but I see many people have a hard time finding it).
www.cascadeyarns.com/patternsFree/DK234_UltraPimaShawl.pdf
Thank You ! Kiki I have no problem getting the pattern.I have read on Ravelry that the written pattern has errors and just follow the symbol chart. My confusion is in some rows I noticed in the center there is DC on top of another DC row 14 and 15.I rather follow the chart. Can u give me clarity since you completed your shawl. Thanks😊
Hello Kiki would you try this shawl with acrylic yarn (100%)? Or do you think that this is a waste of time?
Hello, Melina! I think it would a waste of time. A 100% acrylic yarn will not have the same or similar result with that of the picture. You'll either use a 100% cotton, half and half cotton with acrylic as I'm using, mohair or similar yarn with those I mentioned.
@round 8 i can't follow no more, between i maked video pause. not you'r the problem, my head it is.🙂. you make beautyful designs
Sorry you're not able to follow. I have the link for the written pattern in the about section, you can try from there.
What is the total yardage needed for this shawl? I want to be sure i buy enough to complete it before i start in on it. Thank you
You'll need about 1100 yds of yarn to complete it.
Can you translate the pineapple scarf from marinella's pattern beautiful but hard to follow. Thank you
Sorry, but I don't have the time. Maybe you should ask her to make another video easier to follow.
I tried 3 times I was doing fine with you I can't get past 16 on my own
Did you follow the steps that I explain? Are you repeating the correct rows?
Kiki Crochet I figured it out. It was the increases that got me confused. That you I love the shawl
2 fast 4 me, sorry it's a beauty motiv
Thank you! Are you sure this is too fast? Because I do explain very thoroughly every step I crochet. :/
You're supposed to pause every now and then. It would have been an enormous and extremely boring video if she made the whole shawl in real time!
If you have Chrome, there is a setting to view youtube videos faster or slower.
ชอบมากแต่ไม่มีเวลาถ้าเป็นเมื่อก่อนจะไม่นอนเลยทีเดียว
Where is the link to download this pattern ?
The link is in the About section of the video. 🥰🥰
💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
How do I get the pattern printed?
The pattern is in the about section of the video, click on the link and you'll be able to prin from there! :)
what weight of yarn?
This is a light weight yarn.
перевести на русский язык пожалуйста
Ok didn’t explain it right sorry
