    Great thank you. I've done the pineapple stitch before but never knew or paid attention to the multiples. With this I can adapt the pattern to whatever I want. BTW you are the first person I've seen in a really long time that holds their hook in the same way that I do. My mom taught me almost 40 years ago so u thought maybe that way was outdated. Thanks for the wonderful memory.

      Thank you very much, Sharon!! My grandmother was the one that taught me how to crochet this way, about 20yrs ago, and she always said to keep crocheting this way because the fingers don't get stressed too much, compared to other methods.

    I love this pattern and I think this will not be thread consuming as compared to others... my question is no matter how long you make your chains, as long as it is in multiples of 23 + 2 would it start and end in half pineapple? Thank you....

    • @KikiCrochet
      @KikiCrochet  4 года назад +2

      Thank you very much! Exactly, no matter how long you make your chain, as long as follow the rule, it will start and end in the same exact way as mine, the only difference will be the number of pineapple you will have in your work.

    I like your video. I was wondering what row. Be best to end on. I mean to complete the project

    • @KikiCrochet
      @KikiCrochet  6 лет назад

      Thank you very much!! Best row to finish is when in the pineapples growing your at the part where only teo chain 3 spaces are left and for the nee pineapples that about to start up you have the 3 sets of '2dc-ch1-2dc' and then in the end work a row of one hdc or one sc in every stitch.

    I want to make a doily for my sister's dinning room glass table. I have never crocheted anything with fine yarn or crochet thread. I have been viewing different videos and yours struck my attention, now what size hook are you using and with what size yarn. I bought some mandala yarn by Lion Brand and it's fine yarn. Can that be used with this pattern?
