Good grief! Thank you. Cute pattern. Thank you so much for not dragging out the instruction! So many tutorials take 30+ minutes to do a pattern this size. So again, thank you!
Thank you for making this tutorial I have been wanting to do the pineapple stitch for many years and just never did started you make it look so simple and I will try it on a next project thanks again
This is nice. But showing us how to incorporate it into something g would be so nice. I can’t see anything but am appliqué with it? Like how do I get that in a scarf. A simple scarf let lone a hat. Beautiful stitch as you sTated. A pleasure to watch you. Thanks again.
Hi... I love your crotchet pineapple motif... I want to know if I make single pieces of these , how can I join then together to make a placemat or a doily?
It's very pretty, but it looks more like a strawberry to me. I wonder if you used green & red, how would it look? I may have to try it! Thank you so much!
Please send me a way to order 2 or 3 patterns. Tutorials are wonderful but I am 90 the 29th of this month speaks for itself I will send all information needed and l will be so grateful. Sallie Little Summit, Ms 39666
Error. It's a pineapple PATTERN....not pineapple STITCH. It would help if you show where the hook is entered...up close. Use a yarn that doesn't split. Finished piece is hard to see the loops.
you're fingers are covering the stitches. if you go fast, yes we can go slow, but it helps to see if we can see where you are inserting your hook and compare and confirm if we are doing the same thing. Please be mindful that we are viewing at the same time listening. Otherwise just do an audio tutorial. Thank you for your effort, best to check on other crochet guru's before you embark on video tutorials. Teaching and creating a piece are 2 different gifts.
I have crocheted for years, and but I find I don't like many of these videos due to the fact that many of them are not comprehensive! This video doesn't tell you what hook size, what yarn weight, nor does it tell you how to END a "decrease" row! Are you supposed to decrease just at the beginning of each row or at both ends? Are you supposed to decrease at the beginning of the row only? Please be more concise!
Yes. You are decreasing at the beginning of the row only. When you turn to go back the other direction, you will have another decrease at the beginning of that row. This allows for a gradual, uniform decrease on each edge. She stated in the video the decrease is at the beginning only (skipping that first chain space) then work each chain space to the end of the row. For this tutorial, size of needle or weight of yarn is not necessary because the stitch is not restricted to a specific gauge. For the tutorial, you can use any yarn weight and hook suggested for that yarn weight on the label. Hope this helps clarify any confusion.
Thanks I heard say that only at the beginning, but my pineapple doesn’t have the gradual slope like hers does. I’ve tried it missing a stitch at the end, then I run out stitches!😪😪😪😪
Thanks so much for sharing this stitch and showing how much easier it can be achieved.😊

Hi... I love your crotchet pineapple motif... I want to know if I make single pieces of these , how can I join then together to make a placemat or a doily?
Do u skip every row or just at the beginning?

To get a ladger pi eapple means more sfarting chains
Thank you so much got it
It would have been better if you had continued with more rows before showing the finished piece. I found it hard to follow.
Appreciate if you add words on the video tutorial instead CC.

CyThCy Osborne now that you mention it, yes, I also see a strawberry.
