    I'm so happy I watched your video...first thing I want to tell you I lived in Greece for a year, Kafisia is just outside of Athens...I'm not sure of the spelling I was only 16yrs old at the time and I went to high school at the American Academy in Athens.... loved your country and I've always wanted to go back but as I'm now 73 yrs old that seems unlikely!!! You did a awesome job on your tutorial as I've made a pineapple shawl from another tutorial and it is the hardest project that I've ever taken on....wish I would have seen yours first but now I plan on making one from you video as soon as I can. Thank you so much you made it so much more understandable and I still need to do the finishing edge but now I think I'll be able to use how you did yours! Gosh I almost forgoet to tell you... I love love love your beautiful country.... it is one of the best experiences of my life!!! Thank you thank you thank you great job...now I'm a new loyal subscriber!😍

    I thought I could never make this shawl, but I wish you had continued all the way to the end of the shawl that is the reason I have to follow the video I have a hard time doing repeats when not shown. I am going to give it a try though. You have shown and explained everything so well, I just hate to have it end at the 16th row thank you

    • @KikiCrochet
      @KikiCrochet  8 лет назад

      Thank you for the feedback! You can try and write down the instructions, it'll really help you, and I think once you complete some rows then you'll be able to memorize the pattern, it's pretty easy.

    • @KikiCrochet
      @KikiCrochet  7 лет назад

      Thank you very much, Rosie!! There would be more than 10 video tutorials if I kept going. You may find it difficult because the pattern repeats itself after many rows, but if you go back, and follow the instructions that I give in the end of the second video, I think you'll be able to go on. Just keep repeating the steps, the only difference is that as you go on, you'll have more pineapples to apply those steps to.

    The way I remember to increase at the beginning (and end) of the appropriate row is it will be after the row where you did the increase at the bottom of the other pineapple (the shell, ch 2, shell - bringing the bottom together). Or the third row of the chain 3's of the first pineapple.

    Kiki, I am having much difficulty as the shawl gets wider and wider as to what to do in the center. My shawl is a disaster in the middle section after Row 16. Can you help me? Your tutorial is great I just wish it continued after Row 16. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @KikiCrochet
      @KikiCrochet  7 лет назад

      Hello, Terri! Sorry for such a late response. What you have to always have in mind is that everytime a pineapple is completed a new one will start on top of it in the next rows. So once you finish the pineapple by crochet the two shells back- to- back, in the next row on those spots, you'll make shell ch 2 and shell on the opposite side of the pineapple, in the next row you're going to make shell, ch2 and double crochet on the ch2 sp of previous row, ch 2 and shell again, in the next row on this spot you're going to make shell, ch3, dc on top of the dc of the previous row, ch3 and the shell again and from there on you're going to follow all the steps the we do for the pineapples. Don't forget very important, all the new pineapples that are starting up have to be in the same process spot, and all the pineapples closing up have to be in the same spot with each other. Hope I helped and again sorry for the late response.
