It looks super pretty in a self-striping yarn, a solid and multi-colored yarn. It works really fast and would make a great gift for a special friend or for yourself. This is my all-time favorite pattern. I’ve made a number of them in skinny cakes and it’s one of my go to’s. Thank you so much.❤
Finaly some one that gets it!! Thank you! I keep finding these shawls that are very long in the back but barely come around me . I'm not that big but I would rather have one long enough to wrap around and not so long in the back .
Thanks for a gray pattern and tutorial. I finished this in a few days and I just love it. My mom’s dementia is getting worse. She asked me for a shoulder blanket so I looked for a shawl pattern and the name of this is the main reason I made it. Time in a bottle. Exactly what I want to do. Put my time with my mom in a bottle and let it stand still. And have it forever. I’ll give it to her tomorrow and she won’t know what she asked for the other day but I’m sure she’ll love it. Thanks.
Oh wow! That’s so beautiful. I know your mom doesn’t know me but please give her hug for me. You’re a wonderful daughter. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
Hugs!❤
Yes! Thank you! I prefer shawls to be wider than long. Makes a big difference in the way it fits. 💗
Just started this. My very first shawl. Using Lion Brand Mandala in color way Gnome. It’s 3 weight and I’m using a 4mm hook.Thank you for such great instructions.
I like the way you explain as you continue crocheting. I’m a beginner and a visual learner. The way you explain is very understandable and I like that. You are an awesome teacher and I like you 😊. Thank you very much and I will be watching this a few more times and then, when I think I’m ready, I will crochet alongside with you. Thank you again🙏🥰🩷
I love this easy pattern, and how you process us through the instructions. Very clear, and easy to follow. Thank you! ❤️
One of the most beautiful shawl I have ever seen ❤️
Thank you 💕❤️
I got a bunch of these Mandala cakes at 1/2 off. I always buy 2. I have been pondering what to do with them. This is an easy pattern that crochets up nicely. Thanks
i have done many shell shawls but this has to be the easiest and one of the most beautiful ones i have worked on. it goes so quickly too. thank you so very much
Thank you.

Beautiful shawl
This is my first shawl ever and I'm using lions brand mandala cake in the color Groot haha it's super easy and fun to do. Thank you for this tutorial.
That sounds that a cool colorway!
My name is Groot.🌱
Cool 😎 I have some Mandala yarn in blue, looking forward to making this.
That will look so pretty 😍
OMG I thought I was the only one that holds the yarn with the throw over the hook! I’m a knitter and for ages I wanted to learn how to crochet, but I never found a way to hold the yarn. Until one day it occurred to me to add my knitting skills into how to hold the yarn and it worked. Now I can do both. I’m definitely doing this shawl after my current project. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
My mom taught me how to crochet and she was a knitter too 😊 I never did catch on to knitting. I wish I had though.
I learned how to knit during the pandemic. Then right after, I’ve learned how to weave using a Rigid Heddle, and now crochet. All by watching RUclips tutorials. I’m so happy that I discovered these arts, it helped me with my anxiety.
Same. Fiber arts are a great way to ease anxiety.
Thank you so much your explanation is so clear and not confusing 🥰🥰🥰🥰I doing this now😍😍
Can't wait to make this pretty shawl!! Thank you for a great tutorial!👍

Thank you for this beautiful pattern! I have a bad habit of impulse buying pretty yarn without knowing what I'm gonna make with it, and as such I have a huge collection of mandala skeins that I never know what to do with. But this shawl is so nice I may just have to make it in multiple colors! Can't wait to try it out 💖
That’s cool. I love mandala yarn too.
This is so pretty!!
Thank you. It works up really fast too.
Very pretty love it thank you
Thanks. I’m glad you like it.
Hello. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. In the description box you have said there is an error. Before I begin please can you tell me if the error is in what you have actually SAID to do in the video or what you actually DID in the video.
Thank you
If memory serves me correctly I spoke the wrong directions but did the correct stitches.
@@NinjaBunnyCrochet Yhank you so much for your quick reply. You are correct. I've copied what you were doing and it's turning out fine. I've just begun my shawl and it's beautiful. A very easy tutorial and enjoyable to do.
👍🏾
Awesome!
hi! can you explain the description of the video where it says there is an error? I am a little confused if you mean the video as shown is wrong? based on the comments it appears everyone followed and it turned out great. I have never crocheted before so I need something I can follow to the T! Thanks :)
I heard that car.😃
Why is mine so small? I used the same hook and Mandala. I am an advanced crocheter. Did you use more than one cake or did you block it very stretched?
No I used one cake. I did not block it. Everyone has different tension.
Beautiful shawl! Do you have the written pattern for it? I would love to get it.

My mandala yarn is wayy thinner than yours for some reason. :( mine did not make a pretty pattern like yours, just kinda made a sagged pattern. I don't know what to do with this mandala yarn it is so pretty, I also got the Centaur color.
Your tension could be looser than mine. You could try moving down a hook size and adding a few extra rows.
❤
I have put this on half speed and still can’t tell what’s supposed to be going on with making the first ring or the next step of making the double crochets and chain 1 into that ring :(( I can’t seem to get this started no matter how many time I rewatch it.
So what you’re saying is you only used one skein of the centaur 590 yards?
Yes. I used 1 cake.
My shawl came out 57 Inches in lending 23in in the middle should I keep going I need help
It feel small in the middle but the length is good
It could be your tension is different than mine. The nice thing about this pattern is you can easily add extra rows to adjust the size. 😊
Hi
Could I make this in a wide rectangle Shawl.
Ty
Possibly, I have not worked the pattern like that before.
Hello. 30” will be to short. Is there away I can make it longer? Or can you suggest another shawl that long. The women im
Doing it for are nit giants but they are I guess tall. 30 wimt hit them
Where they would like.
Work additional rows to the desired length is reached
Great! I thought It a was set ratio. I ordered my yarn I cannit wait to start this
Thanks.
Is row 4 3dc, ch1, 3dc or 3dc, ch2, 3dc?
Rw 4 - ch 5, (sh, ch 2) in each v-st, tbl in last ch sp
sh = 3 dc
tbl = treble crochet
I fix it
Can i use a dk weight?
Yes. Lion Brand Mandala are light weight 3 same as DK weight. It should work up nicely
Thank you so much! You're a great teacher! Love your tutorials.@@NinjaBunnyCrochet
Hello
So I appreciate this tutorial But do you have a pattern and a diagram. You won’t be with us the e tire shawl And I am a visual learner Up to now I have no idea what to do until you say it
I will but on my own I have to get there
I did the Virus shawl abs that is the most hardest y thing to do until thst bell goes off
Then it’s a duh moment - a what’s wrong with he it could t be easier
same here
Also I left havded I really just oral
At you and listen Listening us how I follow BECAUSE it’s all backwards to me Anyway
Right handed people truly do nit appreciate how confusing this is until they try to follow left handed instructors 😂
So if you have a pattern with a diagram I have no issue buying it I have had to buy every oatteyn for everything on RUclips unless there is a free one somewhere
Thanks a million ! 😊
I have a written pattern on my Etsy shop but there isn’t a chart.

Gibt es deine Anleitung auch schriftlich und in Deutsch das wäre super
Nein, tut mir leid
Ich habe Muster auf Englisch geschrieben

Can not see it.
Please clarify what you can not see.
I hate to watch someone crochet that got to wrap the yarn around the hook for every stitch.
There's a really easy fix for that
Everybody has their own technique they feel comfortable with.
If you don't like to see it, just don't watch....simple as that
Your opinion is not needed. Just watch someone else.
