Just finished the virus stitch afghan, used 6 skeins of Herrschners Pastry Puff cake yarn. So beautiful and there is no way I could have done it without your help. This morning I started this cloister shawl and it is going so well. I love your voice and your tutorials! No false starts, no frustration. You are the best teacher. I know this two row repeat by heart now. Thank you so much.

My sister and I were discussing patterns when she mentioned the RUclips tutorials, which I did not know existed. I came across your videos...Wow, you have no idea the.blessing you are! I use crochet as a form of stress reliever. Your voice is so calming, your instructions are precise and clear. You convey your passion and love for the art of crocheting with each video! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with us! Forever grateful...

You are seriously the best crochet teacher ever! Your tutorials are so easy to follow and you have such a nice and soft voice. Most people talk way too fast and I can’t keep up at all. English is not my first language, but I still find your videos way easier than most in my native language. I can’t wait to get started on more of your shawls. Thank you so much for all your help and guidance! ❤️

Thanks so much for your wonderful tutorial!! I’m a newbie and your instructions are so precise and slow enough for me to constantly Stop n Replay. Your video angle is perfect and yarn colours and background makes it easy for me to see what you’re doing! Your working hand doesn’t block your work either! You’re a great teacher and I also love the number of repeats you do. Thank you! I’m excited that I may successfully crochet a shawl! ❤

I agree with Mikee, I'm glad you did more to give us a real idea of how this pattern is worked. Some people that put up crochet video tutorials only do one or two rows and then tell you "oh just repeat these rows, etc." DUH!! some of us need a little more than a couple rows! I'm looking forward to more of you tutorials in the future. Thanks for sharing and making a good video.

I adore these tutorials, I only wish that we could post our results after your exceptional tutorials.
I learned to crochet, knit and tat at the age of 7 by just studying the way the stitch should look, 500 years later, I found You and it's a blast to crochet right along although a jump ahead as soon as I see how you set up the row.
I just love to listen to a soothing and quite candid voice 🌹❤️❣️

I love this pattern! It’s so easy and works up super fast. I just finished it in Lion Brand Ice Cream, strawberry. I used the Big Scoop skein (1,117 yards) and a 5.5 mm hook. It’s a weight of 3. I used all of one skein, and it measured about 36 inches at the spine. Wingspan about 64 inches. I’ll be giving it to my sister-in-law, who is a breast cancer survivor, for October (breast cancer awareness month).

Thank you Fiber Spider for your fabulous tutorials. Yes, it did take me awhile to get the pattern into my head correctly but to anyone reading this; I have not crocheted since Covid took hold in the U.K. and my husband was advised to isolate due to his health. So, I more or less isolated with him and we did loads of household maintenance together. So, under the saying, it was a case of ‘use it or lose it’ and I lost it…but now it’s back. 😮 😊

Thank you, I have a granddaughter that just loves shawls although only 11. Last year she wanted a virus shawl after seeing the one I made for myself but she wanted a design insided the pattern of the shawl. It took a lot longer but is absolutely beautiful and she wears it with great pride. Today she asked me to make her another special shawl and I found this tutorial and am making this in Mandala 3 ply. this yarn works up beautifly and it washes very well although I do hand wash it. This pattern should turn out quite pretty. If I can figure out how to do it will send a picture so you can see. When it isn't so late I'll have to visit and seesome of your other tutorials. Crochet and knitting is good for everyone doesn't matter how old or what sex, I start teaching my kids and grandkids at 4-6 depending on their attention span.

Thank you for doing more rows and the end chain which I can't figure out where to put my chain so you are doing a great job of making us not quit and give up like I used to do. Now I can follow and actually understand what you are doing and taking you times. Three rows like another one does it it is impossible to follow and a lot of us are going elsewhere to learn. We don't like feeling stupid when we ask questions and help. Thank you for taking the time with us. Much appreciated I stayed with you from the star and you are only getting better and nicer. When I saw your shall I thought, wow...this would be a beautiful blanket. I went for it and followed your instructions for each round but continued on doing a mirror of the first round for the other side. It worked up very easily and has a double shell together for each corner. So I just started with a single loop for the first corner, worked around putting the double spacing on each corner and ended with a dc, ch 3 in the beginning stitch and connected to the 3rd chain of the first loop space. Not sure if that makes sense but it really does work up easily as a blanket or throw in a large square shape. It is very beautiful. I used ombre yarn for subtle color changes. Thank you Spidey for sharing this. This is quick and easy. ;) Really love this one!

This was a fun and easy project - I appreciated the extra rows and crocheted along with the video until I "got" the pattern. I used a variegated yarn in fall colors and it's lovely. I will make this again - a great way to learn triangular shawl making.

Awesome, how many yards of yarn does it take?

This helps a lot. I did find written instructions. But I still struggle with crochet patterns. This helped clarify what to do.
Also, as a side note, I'd suggest trying the suzan bates hooks. They're a bit more streamlined in shape in my opinion. So it's easier to move the hook in and out of a project as you're working on it. And you can get a lot of them with handles too. My second favorite ones are by Prym. They also have an easier hook head in my opinion.

Thank you so much for this shawl! It only took me a couple of evenings to make and it's already been widely admired! It took me just a little more than one Caron Cake, but that did allow me to finish in the colourway I wanted. I really enjoyed making it, and now it's finished, I love it!

Of all the people doing tutorials on RUclips you have the best approach and you’re relatable… I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the butterfly shawl on Etsy… That would be another great shawl that you could show us how to do… Thanks again for your great tutorials. I look forward to more to come.🖖

Plus, I did this pattern in the size of one thread from the brand yarn art flowers and he came out so beautiful I love the colors changed definitely easier to do with a larger thread, but I decided to make it harder for myself
