I love you, Fiberspider! You video in ways that I can clearly see what you're doing & you don't go too fast. I haven't gotten the hang of understanding written directions and have semi-blindness in one eye. So, I also appreciate how you stay with us until the end (or, at least, you explain how to finish in a very easy way). I look forward to a variety of new projects. THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTFULNESS!!!🤩

As I'm anxiously sitting here awaiting knee replacement surgery tomorrow I can focus on this shawl, it's simple enough and different enough to keep me focused on it. And it's turning out great!! @@bethparsons Good luck with your knee replacement. I'm doing great, it's now been a year since my left knee and will be a year in June that I had my right knee done. Take the pain meds!! That way you can stay ahead of the pain and do the therapy. I am fortunate to live in Florida and we were able to go walking outside, me and my physical therapist and then me and my hubby to practice. I did have physical therapy at home for three weeks and I thought that was really helpful. Initially because of Covid but in the end I think it helped my therapist know what I needed based on the home situation too. I do live on our sailboat and was recuperating at my son's apartment, but when I got to out-patient PT we could work on the boat stuff I needed to do, especially balance on a moving boat!! You'll do great I'm sure. Everyone told me about taking the pain pills so I'll say that too, it really wasn't going to be addictive because I knew I was not going to have pain forever, that's why I had my knee replaced!!! And the surgeon wants you to take them so you can do the therapy to get better. Prayers for you and your medical team. ❤️❤️
