I did too, I’m working on about 15 different projects, not including my other art projects, , am trying to finish a crochet backpack 🎒 (much prettier than this icon lol but I even dropped my hook and began this shawl. I’m going to go back and forth likely for today until the backpack is done simply because it’s more than 65% finished and I get really obsessed at a certain point and try very hard to finish said item. Lol. But I gotta sleep tonight, I have a busy early morning tomorrow so...ugh so few hours compared to what’s needed lol. 😶

It grows really fast! I’m using I love this yarn from Hobby Lobby, a 4 weight, with a K hook, I like it a lot! I also did something because this yarn is thicker and stiffer than mandala yarn. On the row 5 repeat I put a chain 1 between the fans only. Now my shawl will lay flat. I've made so many shawls this past year, but had to adjust patterns a couple times because I used a thicker yarn.

A lovely shawl as always, Craig. I'm trying to work out if I can make it wider and have it shallower. Although the alternative would be just to do the scarf. But I like shawls, not to deap and easy to wrap both sides round ones neck, and still have a good amount dangling. Sorry if that sounds rude. 🤦‍♀️. It's a beautiful creation mind. Thank you 😊 💕

Fiber spider I think this shawl pattern would be great for making prayer shawls since it works up so quickly. I would like to ask your permission to write down the directions for this pattern and the modern granny shawl. I want to give them to the members of my crochet group to start stocking up on shawls to be given out at our local shelter/food bank this winter
