That is Bill Medley. Bucky Heard sang with Bill later after Bobby passed away. This is the original Righteous Brother duo.
THis is Bill Medley ,Buck was the man who replaced Bobby .I think it was Phil Spector who produced Soul And Inspiration, and You've Lot That Loving Feeling.Phil wanted a wall of noise and that is why the back up singers in those videos hummed and complimented the sound of the instruments as well as the lead vocals.
I'm a 68 year old white women who loved Motown these guys were played on all Motown stations that's why they were called Blue Eyed Soul
He's Bobby Hatfield, the best singer ever lived. Teamed with Bill they were amazing.
Bobby's "Brother" was Bill Medley. Buckey replaced Bobby years after he passed away. They did not lip sync. They sang live. RANKED 16 OUT OF TOP 20 DUOS?? THAT'S NUTS!! They should be higher!!!!
Bill Medley said in an interview that Black radio stations would not play their music because they were white. Eventually they did start to play their music but a DJ in Philly would announce them as his Blue Eyed soul brothers, and Blue Eyed soul was born.
Bill Medley is still alive and occasionally performing at the ripe young age of 82. Wonderful voice and a terrific man.
No, this is Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. Bucky entered the picture after Bobby passed away.
Cher was a back up singer there. She was young and long before she ever started with Sonny.
It was original twosome was Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield, the Righteous Brothers no lip sync, and no auto tune. Just the two of them.
The music of the fifties and sixties got us boomers ready for the soul of Motown as adults. Thank you for your sincere reactions. Bobby is my fave and he always packs a stick of dynamite in every performance. We were blessed to have had the ability to revel in his talent and soulful delivery.
They were doing a show in Southern California and a young Marine Brother in the audiance stood up and shouted "That's Rightious Brother" and from then on they took that name from then and there.
Just had to add my two cents....Bill Medley and Bobby Hattfield.....fyi. Love your channel. Thanks for the smiles and the music. I'm 72 and I'm so happy our music hasn't died.
Bill medley and Bobby Hatfield This technique is called Phil Specter Wall of sound.
My mother, who passed away last year at 86 years old, told me that she danced with Bill Medley at a club in Myrtle Beach, SC, and he was a pretty smooth dancer. That was in the days when the Shag was a very big thing, and she was called a few years ago about being inducted into the Shaggy Hall of fame. She was a fantastic dancer. God rest her soul.
Bill is saying, "Without you baby what good am I?"
The Righteous Brothers opened for the Beatles and the Rolling Stones for their first two tours
I would recommend Bobby singing "Summertime" but frankly, I don't know if you could take it. He goes easily over the top within first 30 sec. ❤❤❤ I'm glad you like them too.
Forget the trash music today. This is the best music you could listen to. So amazing will live forever
Whitney used to hang out with Elvis as a kid. If you don't believe it, watch, Elvis and the black community part 1 and 2. You're not going to believe how people hated Elvis for singing black music. Rock and Roll was originally black music.
