  • Dynamic, challenging and intense - but without any weight bearing in the wrists or hands!
    Standing balances and tricky transitions strengthen the glutes, legs and thighs, deep core and pelvic floor work fires up heat and power in the body. Expect to sweat!
    Lots of options given throughout, but not suitable for absolute beginners.
    If you love strong vinyasa, but have a wrist, hand, elbow, or shoulder injury that means you can't put weight in the arms - this yoga flow is for you!
    Love James 💜

    Phew! You promised a strong practice and that certainly delivered! Loved it. I really enjoy listening to you give micro details, chatting through the countdowns (which distract from the effort required) and how you make it so much more enjoyable with humour. The sequences and flow that you instruct are different from any other practice I have done which again makes it so refreshing. Another fantastic practice from you thank you James 🙏

    I love this guy so much! as someone who knows that stretching and being aware of the body are really important, especially when carrying around as difficult of an injury as a broken wrist, but also cannot deal with the weird breathy "relaxed" vibes most yoga teachers will put on, I am so so glad to have found someone whose practice is genuinely fun to follow and lets me keep moving despite my wrist!

    The struggle is real!! Everyday I try to let go of the anxiety and the past. I practice meditation, I practice my yoga and still I am always anxious and wanting to eat sweets to deal with it! Working from home has allowed me time to re-think and try to re-program. Then I get to the office and I am off and running with sweets, sweets, and more sweets!!!!!!!!!! I feel cursed and doomed. This probably isn't the best place to write this stuff! lol Laughter goes a long way when you realize how silly some stuff is!

    You're so encouraging and fun! Say, i bet some of us are doing this because we did sloppy chaturangas and planks too many times and have sore shoulders. Maybe you could do a chaturanga reset and rehab class! I'd sure watch it!

    • @MoveWithJames
      @MoveWithJames  3 года назад

      That made me laugh! yes chaturanga is often the culprit, or more specifically shoulder position. A rest class is such a great suggestion! i'll add it to the list :)

I'd like to request a series for those of us whose wrist/shoulder injuries are nearly resolved yet we don't feel quite ready for endless downward dogs. In other words, something to transition gradually into upper extremity weight bearing. Bless your face James!

      Hey Sessy - love getting your feedback, thanks for writing. Yep! When we can't use the wrists we use the legs and glutes and challenge our balance to generate heat. It's a great idea generally anyway I think!
