Wonderful! What a dance! Very challenging and like a wild adventure trip! It was so much fun! (Even though I did tumble around a lot! I'll have to practice a bit more with this video until I can really fly.) But I'm learning so much from you! Thank you James! Your videos here and on Patreon are such a gift to me every day!
As I've had a wrist injury for over a year now I am extremely thankful for the variety of wrist free yoga classes you provide! I always enjoy your creative, flowy and dancy practices and your energy is a delight! Thank you James
Even though I am now fully recovered from my wrist injury I follow your flows every day, they add so much light to my day! I love how challenging yet peaceful they are!
Your classes have made my recovery from tennis elbow and a shoulder injury so much more bearable, when you get told "NO DOWNWARD DOG!" and no plank and no, no, no... it can be quite disheartening, but your videos have helped so much. This one is AMAZING and the various classes have really helped me get more centred in my balance as well. Thank you.
I love the wrist free practice. I love the combination and blending of different practices and that I never feel like I sacrificed a wonderful full body experience because I can't utilize my hands for traditional poses. thank you from my whole heart!
Hands free but not easy stuff! Thanks for making these for us broken folks. Much appreciated. I agree with Living Ananda- KING OF WRIST FREE YOGA! Blessings to you.
Thank you for these wrist free yoga videos. I've been dealing with a shoulder/wrist nerve injury that has had me really missing yoga, but thanks to you I'm back at it!
Agreed! I hadn't done this video before - WOW the flying poses! Going through your playlist is like finding gems that have been waiting in the jewel box.
I appreciate your wrist free workouts for ppl like me, who has a chronic bilateral wrist inflammation, either due to COVID or something else. All of your wrist free workouts are challenging. This one made me sweat-A LOT. For someone like me, who’s ALWAYS been active & worked out, the inflammation has limited on the type of workouts I can or cannot do. So I thank u so very much, and I also like the chi gong element to it, as my hubby is a ba gua palm practitioner (I mentioned this to you before)…..and the chi is important to how we feel about ourselves. So, thank you ….until next time-have a peaceful day.
Loved this. Nice mixture of yoga with Qi gong and Pilates making it your own unique style. I love your cues and your comments. This helps to realize how to achieve a balance between effort and ease. I was feeling pretty bad emotionally right before I did this ( husband died six months ago, isolation), but I was so interested and engaged that I was able to focus on this rather than grief. Many thanks.
Thanks Ellen - so glad you enjoyed! But oh I am so so sorry to hear about your husband. That must be unimaginably hard. I'm really happy this can offer some distraction and ease to you 💖
I've been practicing yoga for around six years and I've had to modify my practice because of a wrist injury. I found your channel through your wrist free yoga videos and you've very quickly become my favourite RUclips yoga channel. Thank you for the creative and strong flows - you've brought new light to a previously despondent yogi
James, your wrist free sessions are a life saver - I got a double humerus fracture after being hit by a car on way to work on my bicycle and have found your sessions 6 weeks ago. They have helped me so much in the recovery process of my wrist, elbow and shoulder while keeping sure that i not just avoid loosing but also am actually gaining strength and flexibility throughout my whole body. Today’s session was particularly challenging but boy i did it! Thanks for being my wrist free hero! I also ran a couple of your longer sessions on your website and looking forward to new sessions there as well. Thanks from Belgium!
My manfriend and I found your videos during "lockdown" and boy are they awesome- especially love that you do wrist-free! Thank you for sharing. ❤️ from Canada
Thank you for this great yoga workout! I am doing yoga for many years now and have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome recently. I already was devastated because I thought I couldn't practice anymore... until I found your videos! :-) Namaste and lots of love from Germany
my favorite one so far! I have practiced yoga for the past 17.5 years almost, teaching for almost 15 years. I usually get bored with teachers and just practice on my own. I hurt my wrist and stumbled upon your videos a few years ago. THANK YOU! I REALLY love your humor and your flows and that you know alignment. You teach a strong AND safe vinyasa. I just keep coming back. I signed up on Patreon and will sign back up again soon. You're awesome. Much peace to you and everyone else here.
Thank you for all your wrist and hand-free videos!! I've struggled to find yoga classes that don't cause my rheumatoid arthritis to flare up- these are just what I've been looking for 😄 So grateful for you, James!!
So happy to have found this in my feed today. This is the second wrist free class of yours that I’ve enjoyed. Immensely!! Thank you for much for helping us keep off our wrists and hands!!
James, thank you, again! I feel like this broken wrist has been a blessing for me..if not for that, I may have never discovered you and your amazing classes. Today I am grateful for the whole process of falling, breaking and now mending and being mindful and commitment to my own health...that is what brought me to your classes❤. I appreciate how you incorporate elements of Qigong into your yoga practices also, as I am new to Qigong and loving it! Have a beautiful day 🙏🙏
Thanks again Denise! it's funny how life sometimes throws us a curve ball right? Something bad happens but then something good can come of it too unexpectedly. Still - really hope you heal well and rapidly! Much love! 💖
Beautiful flow. I relly enjoyed this practice. So happy to have discovered your hands free yoga program - a real blessing during these weeks of recovery after hand surgery. I didn't want to stop practising yoga and now you've got my back 🙏🏼
I've discovered you and your wfhf video few days ago. I thank you. You really help me everyday to be consistent despite my injured wrist. Thank you James
Thank you again James, I really enjoyed that, especially all the references to birds which I love in general 🦅🐦🕊️ although I did ask my son which bird I looked like...his reply "a drunk bird" 😂 more practice needed i think! Namaste James 🙏🏼
Thank you. I'm gradually reestablishing a yoga practice, which, despite having nurtured it for 3.5 years, let it slip for a couple of months. I've gotten so tired and out of sorts... definitely need to rekindle the flame. Returning to your guidance 😀❤💟
James, You have been such a blessing during lockdown, working from home, living in a bubble... Thank you again for giving us wrist-free warriors so many wonderful videos to explore poses from different perspectives while coping with injury/limitations. So appreciative 💥💕🙏🏼
I discovered you a couple months ago and have been working my way through your videos...they are all simply amazing, and this one in particular hit different. I was wonderfully challenged (the pistol squats!!) and there were elements that made me feel so so good in my heart (calming clouds, releasing what doesn't serve us, and shooting our goal with the arrow). This one is just so special and I will do it over and over again. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your gifts with us James! 🙏🌈💛
You are so welcome Janelle. It's with great pleasure that I get to make these flows and support my community here to continuing moving and strengthening their bodies. It's great to here how much you enjoyed this class. Thank you for your support 💜
Thank you!!! I was so sad to sprain my wrist and though yoga was out for me! But because of your wrist free flows I can continue my practice! Love all of them but especially the more intense ones! Get that blood pumping!!! xoxo
So glad you found this community here, so that you can continue your practice. May you be gentle with yourself as you continue to heal your wrist. Thanks Melanie!
My second class with James and definitely not my last. The poses and transitions are new and actually quite fun. I found myself smiling and making a "piou" sound when releasing my arrow. Thank you James.
I've done all of your wrist free videos and this is by far my favorite. Thank you!!! You are the reason I've been able to keep a consistent yoga practice because your HFWF videos are more than just a bunch of squats. Thank you! 🙏
Thank you I was upset to not be able to flow and train with my right wrist currently healing for wrist cysts - and this practice really made me connect with yoga and myself again ! I'll keep on doing it and will try to incorporate some of your cool Qigong moves in my future practices (fan of arrow and crane !!) Namaste
I am new to your channel but I love love love your classes. Your energy is amazing and I am so glad to have found your wrist free sessions due to a niggly wrist/heal of hand! It's great to be doing some new moves. I am a total convert. Thank you so much for these fun classes 😍
Thank you for these wrist-free practices! I found your channel last week and your videos have been such a help to my mind and body as I tend to a wrist injury.
A challenging adventure. I tried my best. The pistol squat is not for me though. Repetition really helped with the poses. I used blocks for the half splits. Thanks for the adventure, James. 🙏☘️
Hey Eleanor - thanks for your kind words. The pistol squat can definitely be challenging ! Some people find practicing with one hand on a piece of furniture or the wall for support can help with stability
I do. You make them challenging enough which is great. There are plenty of the moves I can’t quite do in yoga ( if I had started yoga 20 odd years ago maybe 🤣) but I do give everything a try and have a good chuckle to myself at my attempts.
Good morning James!!! Hope you have a lovely day with whomever you spend your holiday with!! Still not a fan of half moons! lol Like you say practice does make them a tad bit easier. :)
Tricky tricky but loving the challenge! Actually did most of it! Keep core coming....I need more abs, esp without being able to do planks...great choreography and movement...be neat to practice it then flow with you to music...?
Hey Rebecca! ohhh I should mention somewhere I create playlists for all my live classes. if you go to this page and scroll to the bottom I post new playlists each month. The vinyasa playlists are usually an hour long, so it might not fit so perfectly with these 40minute classes but you give me a great idea to create some especially to play along side these youtube vids! www.jamesrafael.com/online-classes
Wonderful! I love the yoga Qi gong mix and your kindness. I broke my wrist in June and have been doing wrist free yoga since. I have a new found appreciation and respect for my own body being able to move, bend and fly. Thank you James Shanti
As usual loved your class! ooh that pistil squat is a doozy but not giving up on it ..one day when I'm big..😁. loved the fire hydrant- haven't done it in ages and was thrilled to do it again. Peace and love from SA
So that was a difficult practice! But hey, it's going to be a lot of fun coming back to this until I don't fall out of poses in the more dynamic standing parts. :-) Thank you so much for these great, great videos.
Wow! I am glad I didn't know how challenging this was going to be before I started because I may not have even attempted it, but I stuck with it by doing the first or second step of many poses, and I did it! Some of the flows moved a little fast for me, too, but I really enjoyed this overall. I love your classes, James! Thank you!
Haha your first sentence made me chuckle - I am SO happy we can still enjoy a strong practice together even without hands on the floor. That's great feedback re the speed, I've noticed I've got a bit faster lately (which is very unlike me!) so this is a very helpful reminder for me to slow down a bit next time 💜
Dear James, thank you for your videos. I just love your classes. You have such an awesome vibe. Thanks specially for these videos for wrist and hand warriors. You are seriously the best!!
Can we proclaim you king of wrist free yoga already? The videos are just getting better and better 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Namaste James🙏🏼
