- Stock Tamiya xv01 chassis takes a Traxxas vxl 3s system. Ran on 2s battery and hit 30MPH. It can take a 3s lipo. Subscribe if you want to see that! So far, there has been no breakages.
Comment on any video ideas you would like to see :)
Traxxas slash 4x4 with 60,000RPM motor will come out again soon.
Thanks for watching and subscribe to see more RC action!

Man that was pretty quick even on 2S. I definitely would like to see it on 3S.
Thanks dude! Video will be coming up soon. 😆
@@TrekRC We only have 25mm Max in the Battery bay. Any suggestions on Brushless Motors to replace the Stock Johnson?
Dope Bro!
Tanks! Just need to find the right Brushless for it!
Quick car 👍
It can go a lot faster on 3s 😂😂 video soon
Do you know the shaft length for the motor that you need to drill a hole on the cover?
Yes I had to make a small hole in the cover because the motor shaft is too long. I believe the shaft length is 2cm.
@@TrekRC Ok thanks mate
Any mod to easily insert battery and connectors in the battery room? It is a little difficult
I have cut a small hole in the top of the battery compartment for the battery cables. It makes it a lot easier to unplug and plug in the battery 👍
@@TrekRC Thanks! ;)
doesn't look like thats too much power for it. Appears to be a good match
Nice job my friend
Thanks👍
cool music^^ dü düh^^
Thanks, link to the music is in the description.
How did you fit the battery in the battery bay? I have the same battery but I can't fit even a smaller one.
Mine is the 5200mah 2s lipo battery. It fits inside fine. Yours could be a 3s? It’s taller.
@@TrekRC no mine's the same 2s as yours but I figured out how to fit it in, I had push the esc to batter wire back in to the esc bay a little bit so as to not have too much of it in the battery bay.
Ok, glad you fixed it. On mine I’ve cut a small hole at the top of the battery box for the battery cable so I can plug it in easier.
@@TrekRC I did think of that but didn't want to modify the body even before the first run 😛
Never used belt drive.....does it hold up?
Yes, the belt has been very reliable. I’ve never had to replace one. It will stretch out and slip after lots of use, but you can adjust the tension so it runs fine 👍
What tiers are you useing??
I am using these cheap wheels off Amazon. I think this is the one-

Did you run the stock diffs? 😅
Yeah stock diffs held up okay. On 2s at least 👍
@@TrekRC 👍 points for the plastic diffs! let´s see how it does on 3s. 😁 it´s a bit of a pity that even the entry level TT01 comes with metal diffs and XV01 with plastic diffs, but oil dampers.
I have tried it on 3s and I broke one of the gears 😬. Here’s the video if you want to see it-
