That wee car can really soak up the rough and keep on going , have to say that I can’t get enough Tamiyas, my favourite rc producer.

I totally agree! It definitely wasn’t built for bashing but it held up pretty good. Now it’s time for it to be rebuilt and looking nice again 👍

How often do you do rebuilds on the differentials or gearcase? The diffs and pulleys are definitely wear items. My front diff only lasted 12-15 packs but did a rebuild with traxxas grease and Im now on twice the amount of usage (batt packs) and still going strong. Only had to replace the the counter gear with the pin as pictured in this video once, replaced the NN parts for metal spacers and shimmed the remaining slop/slack out, regreased with 90% silicone and it’s been perfect since.
