    Looks epic. You did a fantastic job. I just got one of these so I'm looking around at videos of it. I'm just dreading doing the Martini stickers as everyone says that they are a nightmare!

      Thank you! It was not such a nightmare. If you have a few years of lexan sticker experience (as you do) you should do a great job.

    My favorite line was "shock oil is included! And it already leaking..."

    Another great video, Markus!! Love the wipers and the dirt detailing. Those shocks look awesome - my XV is still standard at the moment, but one day I will look at new shocks and maybe a mild brushless setup. But I did fit the exact same cockpit as you - nice job mate! :))

    • @RoosterRC
      @RoosterRC  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks again mate! I am now testing a 3000kv brushless set with a 60A ESC. It is hell on wheels on 3s - bit too much so I guess better suited for 2S use.

      Thank you - you are welcome! The shocks are longer and smoother so I would say yes it handles little bit better especially in rougher terrain.

      Yes, don't paint that deep dark eye bags like me! 🤣 Paint the flesh with flesh colour and shade it with a flesh or brown ink like "fanatic army painter strong tone". Paint the eys white and paint dark dots for the pupil. That should do the job fine!

    Did you wish to upgrade your car light, to make it more realistic? I can help you with electonic. I make some project few month ago. It based on 3$ wifi computing module and compatible wiht standart rc remote. You can switch on parking lights/head lights/high lights/ fog lights. Module also automaticaly can conttol turn lights, back lights, stop lights. And it have output for wipers servo.

    Hi great vid and info. Looking to maybe buy one.... Can you run Brushless and lipo batteries with a more powerful motor?

    • @RoosterRC
      @RoosterRC  4 года назад

      Thank you! Yeah you can run a brushless system in it. I am actually now trying one and it runs great. I am running a 3000kv motor on 3s with a 60 AMP esc. Don't run to hard on the throttle or it will get hot quick. 2s maybe enough. You will not regret buying one. They are great rally cars!

    Super Video! Die Scheiben mit den Wischern sind super. Das Interieur sieht auch toll aus. Ich habe bei 2 von 3 XV-01 die Long Damper Mounts und lange CC-01 Dämpfer verbaut. Ein must-have upgrade wären die zwei einteiligen Suspension mounts aus Aluminium und ein Alu-Lenkhebel. Gibts beides von Yeah Racing. 😊

    • @RoosterRC

      @@RoosterRC Die Long Damper Mounts sind von Tamiya (Tamiya 14318001 für vorne und Tamiya 14318002 für hinten), 2 x Querlenkerhalter Tamiya #54379, Lenkhebel Yeah Racing YR-XV01-006BU, lange Dämpfer Tamyia #54541 und Federnset Tamiya #54221. Sollte, sofern alles lagernd, bei Tamico.de erhältlich sein.

      @@Remoteaddicted Vielen Dank für die ausführliche Antwort! Hab mir die Teile schon rausgesucht. Alles ist nicht lagernd - und teuer ist das auch ganz schön :) Aber für Phase 2 definitiv überlegenswert. Warum die Querlenkerhalter und die Lenkhebel?

    • @Remoteaddicted
      @Remoteaddicted 5 лет назад

      @@RoosterRC die Querlenkerhalter wirst du brauchen, weil sie entweder abreissen werden oder der Hinge Pin rausrutschen wird. Mit sind schon 2 gebrochen und bei Tom ist 1 gebrochen nachdem er schon 3 mal rausgerutscht ist. Wenn das passiert, verlierst du fix die Distanzscheibe NN23, die Suspension Balls und wenn du Pech hast auch noch die Antriebswelle. Lenkhebel bricht auch gerne. Dämpfer haben 80mm.

      The two things I noticed most about the reproduction. Is the front bumper? On the original it has a splitter. On the reproduction it comes straight down. The back bumper on the original curves inwards on the reproduction it comes straight down.

    • @RoosterRC
      @RoosterRC  3 года назад

      Difficult to say in a short answer. I would say the XV-01 shines because: Overall kit quality, front motor location for great powerslide weight distribution, frictionless belt drive. Would take the XV-01 over the TT-02 for rally applications every day of the week!

    I don’t blame you for spraying the car to simulate dirt. The decals on this kit I frankly found disappointing and frustrating. I’m not sure how well you were able to conform the fender decals but I took my time, had a heat gun involved and still could not get the fender decals to my satisfaction.
