We ALL just malfunctioned when she talked about thinking of demons when she pleases herself. 😯😨

Anorexia has the highest mortality rate when it comes to mental health disorders. She still may be dealing with this, and imo she needs therapy not blaming it on "the enemy."

  • @WannaPizzaMe

Babe. They are playing characters. Babe. This is a story. Babe. Little, if any of this is true. Babe. This is not who these people are. Babe. This is who they want us to think they are. Babe. And you better believe them or she will sue you. Babe. Because its the Christian way. Babe.

  • @FeministCatLadySpinster

I do feel sorry for what Brittany has gone through (though I do suspect she tweeks the stories a bit to make them more "testimony worthy"... but that's just my opinion based on her track record), but part of me wonders if these tearful openings with Jordan are to present herself as a fragile, emotional woman who shouldn't be judged too harshly for past actions.

  • @amandareadsthrillers

Does it bother anyone else that she says “amen” when she agrees with what Jordan says? I am a Christian but I have never used that in my regular conversations. It’s strange and performative to me.

  • @NissaMaezHartman

It bothers me immensely that she blames everything on demons. She really takes no personal accountability for her own actions. Yes, it sounds like she's had some rough things happen TO her, but it's not an excuse for her lying and bad behaviors. Most people have endured trauma to some extent, that doesn't make them lie, deceive and steal. ' Oh I was broken!' No.

  • @jjanon2371

Not trying to take away from an experience that BD found hurtful and traumatic, but to anyone reading this... It is perfectly normal for children (even 6 yr olds) to touch themselves and to be curious about other kids bodies without EVER having heard of sx. Adults must educate their kids about their bodies and about boundaries, so that their kids don't unknowingly cross lines with others, or get taken advantage of. I am so sorry for anyone who went through a phase of discovery very young, whether it was by yourself or with another young friend and who now looks at it as a terrible sin that put you on the wrong path. Also, sx ed, PLEASE!!! Why don't these same conservatives see that teaching their little ones before they even go to school a little bit about their bodies can save them from moments of embarrassment and confusion? It's not going to turn your child into a "sinner". If you do it right it will protect your child and other children from dangerous situations.

  • @alexiabliese8935

I feel bad for BD like I do for serial killers that have had a messed up childhood. Sad. Bummer. But you’re still responsible for those you’ve hurt. If I don’t take that stance I’m a part of the problem. I’m giving excuses and not empathy. Empathy is not the absence of accountability.

  • @VisionOfFreedom

As someone who has struggled with suicidal ideation and had a couple of near attempts similar to Brittany’s, I can empathize with her and would never discredit her story or the pain she went through. However, I HATE the way she said that Jesus said “not you, not today.” This implies that she was chosen by the Lord and was worthy of saving, which leaves family members and friends of those who have lost their lives to suicide wonder why their loved ones weren’t “special enough” to be saved by Jesus in the moment. That makes me genuinely upset.

  • @amycnews1593

I just have a hard time believing her. She places the blame on everyone instead of taking accountability for HER actions. I want proof, receipts, etc. Where was this “honesty” 2-3 years ago?

  • @anonomus8709

As much as I can’t stand Brittany, it genuinely bothers me how rude Jordan is to her. His passive-aggressive comments are absolutely dripping with contempt.

  • @emilyparker8922

There’s something about the way that Jordan sounds like he could not want to be there less that drives me crazy. It all just feels so performative.

the way she describes her moments of pain are so cinematic.

  • @marleneflanagan7137

In my opinion, if Brit's mouth is moving, she lying.

  • @jenmeyer1960

She says she lost her management and team once that video from Cassidy went live. Yet in her testimony she claims she was doing it all herself and hiring help never crossed her mind. Any of this is hard to believe.

They both sound like they hate themselves and each other. That's really sad, and I hope they can receive real help and get to a better place.

  • @ashlovemore

Same thing that happened to Brittany happened to me at age 5 (except it was a male friend of the same age). It is called peer sexual abuse and it’s not normal. Child psychologists have found that young children touching themselves is a natural, innate behavior, but young children touching others is a learned behavior. Children who have been abused themselves or witnessed abuse (or pornography) will act out what they have learned on others. It impacted me severely throughout my life so I relate to her about that. I am by no means a fan of hers but I want to validate her abuse story.

  • @carriepinkduck

Sleep paralysis is now a demonic attack!? Also, it's not second, third, etc eating disorder. It's one disorder that she has relapsed with multiple times. Therapy and programs can help where religion can't.

  • @maria.x

She's just as addicted to Jesus (not in a good way) as she was to fitness in my opinion. Her addictive personality is still there, its just addicted to religion and righteousness now.

  • @pinkysaurusrawr

The way that she is always always mentioning that Jordan is her biggest supporter gives me off vibes. When we hear Jordan talking about / to her, he is often really not supportive (i.e. beautiful disaster). I have had someone in my life who really tore me down, but I would tell you they were my greatest supporter. It was my coping mechanism for dealing with the fact that someone I loved wasn't treating me right. I may be way off base, but the way these two interact reminded me of that.
