So happy to bring this back! Thank you for nagging me... Ha ha! 😏
Yay glad you brought it back
Exciting battle this week Robin! So glad to see this series back and can’t wait for next weeks!!! Love from the US!
Lets take a moment to appriciate how great Robin looks in that hairstyle + outfit combination ❤️.
He’ll look good in literally anything!
Ah, thank you! A lovely comment to read. I'm feeling good in my skin at the moment.
@@WD.909 Thank you. Perked up my Monday!
@@ManForHimself you always look good Robin! By the way I love the colour of that checked shirt!
Really happy this series is back, thanks for the competition!
Thank you!
Always love to come to this channel before I buy a new product online. Thank you for the great and helpful reviews. Sure helps to understand where to invest your money in when treating yourself
Great to see the return of brand battle!
Finally you are back with the Brand Battles! Hope to see more videos like that soon :-D Good job!
Hey Robin! I'm glad brand battle is back since its my favorite series from your channel... Aside from that, I would love to see you review cavalier clay once again since they had a reformulation. I would love to hear your thoughts if it was worth changing the formulation or not. Cheers.
OMG YES! Finally brand battle is back, can't wait for more
Glad you guys love this.
I’m so glad you started the brand battle back up! I was missing these! Do you think a battle between Label M Matt paste vs Forte Series Molding paste would be comparable enough to do an episode of?
Loved the series as Always.♥️ Also the production quality of the videos has improved many folds.
Thank you
Thanks so much for bringing this back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So welcome!
Excited for the return of this legendary series!!
I was quite surprised with the cars analogy. Love it and didn’t expect you to be a car enthusiast being a Londoner and all
I've been subscribed to you before you had100,000 subscribers. Brand battles have always been my favorite. I think you really hit hit when you came up with this. Well done my friend.
Thanks Jennifer!
Brand battle is always a treat 😍
Love the new editing style, it's another level!
Thank you!
I was literally considering buying one of the two this morning and was researching which was better, and then you upload this - what are the odds!
Great timing!
I loved it ❤️❤️ ! And also done with the competation 😀
Thank you. And glad you entered it!
Great battle! I’m here for Patricks M3 🙌🏻
Exited to see this brand battle ❤️❤️
Hope you enjoy it.
This channel is so underrated ❤️
Hello Robin!
So glad to see Brand Battle is back🎉
It will be awesome if you do re-review on KM “Free hold”. Since your last review, it was reformulated and hold is much better now!
Very good! I still love that product too.
He’s back!!!!
He is!
the brand battles are backkkkkkk
They most certainly are!
Honestly whatever one you have on for the video looks great nice style
Thank you. Can't battle this one out... just yet.
@@ManForHimself what product do you have on for the video?
How does it compare to Moroccanoil Texture Clay ? Does the latter provide a more mat finish ?
Would be interested to see you review Barber Barber's product line. I use the Sea Salt Styling Paste which I really like!
Yes, intrigued!
How about Forte Control Clay vs Patricks FM2.5 since it's both new products from these brand and it has the same performance as detailed on the label
Hi Robin, My hair is fine, and thin, what product do you recommend for this type of hair. Im looking for medium to strong hold. Thank you!
would love to see something on the m2 not sure to get that or the m3
Would love to see a brand battle between PATRICKS M3 vs MORRIS MOTLEY MATTE STYLING BALM with your current short hairstyle.
Please do one on Kevin Murphy “Freehold”! I still use it daily (thanks to your review years ago) and love it but want to know how it holds up to newer products. 😊thanks from 🇦🇺!
Someone else also just asked for that!
Hi Robin! I really enjoy your content, I have been subscribed for a long time but it has been very hard for me to find the right product for my hair... I have short, wavey, curly hair and I love the matte finishing and mid/strong hold but I'm totally aware those types of products are very difficult to style a hair type like mine, using a blow dryer makes it slightly easier to get the style I want but I don't always use a blow dryer so would like to ask your personal recommendation on this. I have products from a lot of brands and none of them feel like a good option to style my hair... just so you know some of the products I currently have tried and have, here is a list: Odouds matte paste, Shear Revival Northern Lights - Gray Gost, Chaptr Styling Cream, Moroccanoil Texture Clay, Kevin Murphy Rough Rider - Night Rider, Pete and Pedro Putty - Paste - Clay and some more... I really hope to hear from you soon! Thanks in advance. Johan :)
Hi, I was interested in the Rough Rider. I have quite thick hair, so do you think I need a pre styler when using this product with my thicker hair?
Struggling to find a good product for me. I have super straight, dark blonde, thick, coarse short/medium hair. Been using moroccanoil texture clay but it doesn’t hold well for me, I’m thinking I need something drier. Any recommendations? I was thinking one of these but not sure if they’re too greasy based on other reviews?
Hey Robin. Looking for some products for styling my hair now having a new job I’ll be working in person - I have very thick very straight hair, looking for something that will add hold but also some texture and separation. Would m3 work well? Also know you love sachajuan spray but we have different hair types, do you think it would be good for somebody with my hair type?
Hey love the video.
Can u make a brand battle on
Goon and grease water based vs
Reuzels red pomade water based.
I really want to see them conpite. They are similar with ingredients
Will have a pomade one v. soon! Might start with oil-based.
@@ManForHimself great news thanks
Finallyyyyyy🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
It's been a while. Really hope you guys love it.
Would love to see a v05 vs L’Oréal men expert they are probably the most common products in the country and L’Oréal are advertised as the love island official products on the boots website
my go to product is still claymation whenever i use a hair product, ive tried many different clays and they just dont hold up to old claymation
I really like Claymation!
Claymation went petroleum first recently and now it doesn't hold my hair at all
@@farazr2 ive not had to buy a new jar in a long time, so ive not tried the new formula, would be cool for robin to make a video about that
How does M3 compare to Night Rider please everyone?
lets goooooooooo
I love the very Brad Pitt ‘Fight Club’ hairstyle you have in this video!
Great reference!
I'm guessing it differs with hair type (I have slightly thicker hair strands than Robin I'd judge, but definitely more on the fine side than thick), but Rough Rider is the hardest product to get out of my hair, among all the products I've ever used. We're talking at least two washes with sulfate type shampoos and a condition before it feels like it's all out.
Also, somehow the stuff feels (and looks) matte and dry as hell, but somehow too it feels (and looks) like it has some shine/conditioning to it.
Definitely a unique product. It's finish has grown on me too. Didn't like it too much at first, but I've come to like the texture it gives my hair--sort of the fineness of a wax type product but also the thickness/pieceyness of a clay.
Try the Dax wax and we talk again
Sorry but M3 matte? it must be hair type thing as I find it greasy as hell, Rough Rider is by far more matte and dry finish for me.
Same here: M3 gives quite a shiny finish compared to Rough Rider
Same with me. I was shocked when he said this tbh
I really like that this sparks a discussion!
@@ManForHimself Patrick even said himself that he makes all his “matte” products greasy because they are designed with surfers in mind and they don’t like the matte look. RR is very matte for me
The classiks, but great products, my staples!
What do you have in your hair in this video ?
Patricks is costly. Living in Canada means adding shipping charges which just does not make it easy to own
You should try Kelsen pomade
👍👍👍👍
Hey!
Hey tío Robin welcome Perú
Hey hey!
Rough Rider is great, but I think they changed their formula recently
Would love to know,, how has it changed ? I feel the same…
I think night rider would’ve been a better comparison than rough rider
Could have been but was a direct suggestion from several people.
arcadian matte paste vs northern lights .........
Amazing suggestion!
Let’s see how some Forte Series stacks up against other brands
Which products?
@@ManForHimselfForte Series Control Clay vs Aveda Grooming Clay
This channel is now nonstop pomade/hair clay reviews…….uh who is watching this…oh no one!
