5:53 I love how the ref is not only telling Nick the rules here but also encourages him to get over it and to focus on the next game like a coach or a Team mate would do. Maybe he has some kind of empathy for Nick here. Not Sure if he is allowed to try to encourage Nick due to the ref's demanded neutrality but it's very kind. Maybe he also did that to try to maybe get rid of Nick's bullshit from there on 😂
Funnily enough, Mohamed Lahyani got suspended for two tournaments after encouraging Nick in the 2018 US Open! (source: wikipedia)
@@zwoderakke for many years , big dogs are asking the ref about some ball's marks.
it is tricky toward the use of the HE isn't it ? :)
@@zwoderakkeI wondered wasn’t he “coaching”
He was just trying to get on with the game and diffuse an idiot.
@@simonbooker right ! then, after each advice he should have given a warning :)
Kyrgios is repulsive in every single way.
Great match, Nadal at his best and Kyrgios at his craziest! 😎
He needs to hire a mental coach. Big baby grow up
I like how he threw water bottle so hard the label stuck to the umpire stand 😂.
Huge Nadal fan, never less than 100% effort
What an embarrassment to Australia 🇦🇺
Know the crux of the problem Malaysia muslim mother and greek painter father what do you expect. To think every immigrant family is Aussie is a folly. Save your country.
Thought thats just normal for aussies
He shouldn’t be allowed to play such tournaments: he has no etiquette no class he is a brute
and you are so classy when you write ;)
How annoying is K! Just keep silent and play. Act like a pro!
ooh the father of tennis there ! 🤡
The game of tennis is better off without crazy Kyrgios.
Juvenile, insensitive, self-centred, disrespectful, dishonest, crude.... Such a shame that one who possesses such great talent and potential just won't grow up.
Kyrgios is an embarrasment to Australia !!
how???? he is brilliant!
@@MrAsianRomeo , how? really?
@@hinhp803he’s a winner and he’s the goat in my eyes

No He's Not! I'm American. Kyrgios was an embarrassment to himself. Sadly He had so much Talent And Raw Ability and Wasted it.
If Kyrgios concentrated on tennis instead of acting like a snotnose punk, then maybe he could get somewhere?
Basketball was always his preferred sport. Didn't even bother getting a coach on the professional tennis circuit! 😂
Nick Kyrgios, with his tennis skills, could have easily clinched at least 4-5 Grand Slam titles by now. However, his arrogance has prevented him from achieving even one.
Complete rubbish.
Lying and saying it slipped out of my hand is wild after having a childlike meltdown
Watching someone like ky just makes my skin crawl..
Kyrgios : just an empty brain
When was this match, like 2017? Kyrgios always had massive talent but was his own worst enemy. He could have been great if he had a great coach. He had a really unique game and variety of shots, when he hit flat forehand he hit as hard as anybody who ever played. Of course it would not always go in, but still, huge weapon.
He is uncoachable - he is a bully, a know-it-all, and an eternal victim. He needs therapy before he needs a new coach
@@Gregisms True, good points. A coach might not have been able to reach him, although in some cases any kind of mentor can serve as a therapist to some extent. All therapy is about creating self awareness in the end.
So do many college level players. But the "could have" excuse just doesn't fly, especially if there aren't any significant trophies to back it up.
@@cvcfoundation8413 There are not 1 in 1000 college level players who have that kind of talent. Guys like Nadal have said that Kyrgios could win multiple grand slams if he had discipline and focus. Probably will not happen, I doubt he will get even 1, but very few people have the talent that can be said about.
He could have been great if he'd had a great PSYCHIATRIST.
Kyrgios was right: it was over in the first game.
He made the mistake by telling Raf, it is one game, dude. Unless, he was talking to himself. Which I doubt. He lit the fire and got the best of Nadal.
“I tried to drink and it slipped out of my hand” 🤣
Kyrgois behaviour apart, his forehand in this match was 🔥🔥
I wasn’t aware that children could play against adult’s in world tennis tournaments?
so thx to Kyrgios you learned something from a kid ;)
Childish behavior and tantrums have been tolerated by professional tennis since the days of John McEnroe....😮
Example of stopping bad behavior:
Tennis just needs a rule that if you deliberately break your racket, you can't replace it!
Never have I once seen a person throw a bottle at something so hard the label sticks to it 🤣🤣🤣
The bottle slipped out of his hand though :)
@@sohailhines it was actually hilarious how he tried to cover for that absolute tantrum. 🤣 i'm honestly thankful that he's off the court these days.
this kind of actions should be penalized. . supposed to be a gentlemen sport not for kids or douche throwing tantrums, could hurt some officials. .
Im embarrassed for being a human when I watch Kygios
Kyrgios could be an excellent player, but his personality doesn't let him. His character is his biggest obstacle.
0:12 wow epic liar. Something tells me this guy was spoiled.
Totally agree. Got to love his game though. If he could keep his emotions in check he would be so much greater than he is
@@PhilipHall-bt4ce Has nothing to do with emotions. His character is lacking, and he isn't the kind of person we need anywhere.
i think he was just being comedic lol. definitely in an angry way, but still. i don’t think he’s genuinely trying to fool anyone saying “it slipped out of my hand” lmao and then to say “i was trying to drink and it slipped out…” is such a ridiculous thing that makes no sense to the point of it being funny. he just trolling.
@@ljspags1305 No he was epically lying.
@ epically lying sounds so funny lol
Look, I can spin a racket and carry a towel in my teeth and throw plastic cups.
Kyrgios is a shame.
So McEnroe, was also shame ?

whatshisface (nick k.) is and has never been an asset to tennis i only watched because of nadal the other person isn't worth the time
That's pretty salty to say, whether you like Nick or not, he has brought a lot of fans to the game.. I am much bigger fan of Rafa, Roger and Novak but Kyrgios deserves some respect..
