I have both and love both, there's a very slight difference in finish etc..but.. Templeton Tonics Summit is my all time favorite styler. It's a MacGyver product ahha it does it ALL!! Also works well as a pre styler. Ghost also works well as a pre styler and in every scenario. I literally alternate between the two as they're my 2 favorite products, but with a little extra preference for the Templeton's Summit. You should also review the Lockhart's Original Heavy Hold pomade. It's a matte shine, so, very clean sheen, lightweight with a heavy hold. Coconut-Vanilla scent. It's the one in the black tin. It would be a good brand battle to compare it to Reuzel Pink 🙂
Have you had a chance to check out Odin by Templeton Tonics? Chris said he modified Summit to be slightly lighter, stronger hold, and more textured for even more use-cases to make Odin.
I am sure you have done this already and I just need to find it, but it would be fun to do a RUclipsr Battle with several products: Pete & Pedro vs BluMaan vs Forte.

Unfortunately, it's not holding long and after an hours the responsive feeling after putting the cream in is completely gone. Do you know an alternative with more hold but a similar washability? Is Templeton what I'm looking for?

I’ve used both, loved both. Gray Ghost a little drier and slightly stronger. Summit is more slick and more nourishing.
Templeton Tonics is such a great brand and Oasis is my favorite Clay. The best fragrances are Trailhead, Mythos and Heritage

Did you use system 1 every day? It was good at first but then my hair started drying out
