I just stumbled across this video and it's a really great conversation.
As a lady I've never liked unisex fragrances on men, but this conversation was just awesome to know that younger men care about their scent.
Yes, yes, yes. Out of sight out of mind. I actually put my summer fragrances on top of my clothing shelf. I want to use my fragrances. I love my fragrances. After showering at night, I now put two of different fragrances on each arm and sniff through the evening until I fall off to sleep. I awake to see which fragrance is still there on my arm. I absolutely love this fragrance hobby. Although I have not purchased a fragrance since August. It is October, and I'm looking to make a purchase. I keep telling myself ("you don't need a fragrance") Thanks for your videos
PS- And their customer service is amazing . When I was shopping for #5 it could not be found anywhere. I finally contacted the House directly and they immediately took care of me

Pegasus is the fragrance that, for whatever reason, I keep putting off buying. I can tell this would be the perfect type of DNA I would love.
I guess it gets overshadowed by all the new releases. 2024 will be the year I finally get it in my collection.
My favorite from PDM is Percival. The best smelling, most wearable and most versatile. If you can only afford to own one, Percival is the one to get. I love this stuff and people around me like it a well. And Ross is right, 4 sprays is all you need. You can't smell much on yourself but it will build a scent bubble around you for sure. I wear it downstairs in my house and my wife can smell it from upstairs. That's how far it projects but surprisingly it's a non offensive smell. It's light and airy when people smell you. It's now becoming my signature scent.

I am enjoying this review. I realize it’s a review geared toward men but I’m quite familiar with Creed, having worked for Saks. Having said that, I thought my my body chemistry had changed but you made a comment that cemented a theory I have. I find that a lot of fragrances today are watered down - even for women. Some of my previous go-tos just disappear on my skin. Now I know why!
Really cool video. Thanks!! My “retro” era was the 80s and early 90s… I wore Pierre Cardin, Aspen, Original Polo Green, and Drakkar Noir. Additionally, ( I made my parents take me to a mall 2 hours away so that I could purchase the brand new OG Fahrenheit and was mortified to find out that to my nose it smelled like wasp/ant spray. Lol 🤣😂)

They do have good chemistry together, and I don't know for sure but I would say that they have a degree in communications. There's a difference between their professionalism and a lot of other RUclipsrs.

There was a month when I wanted something challenging and adventurous, so I got Unutamam, Afrika Olifant, and Fantomas (Nasomatto). I haven’t worn it out yet but laughed and giggled a bit every time I stopped by the bottle and gave it a visit. Revisiting them as I watch this video, I plan to put them into rotation now… it now comes across as unique, adventurous and not challenging at all… wow! Statement makers for sure.
When I got Papilefeiko from Justin review it is a grown up version of Mancera Silver Blue. The initial spray they are al.ost identical but really nice....

Mancera - all too sweet. Too bubblegum. Just not me.
Suggested alternates would be Chanel’s Coromandel, Sycomore, Le Lion and Cuir de Russie.
PFM - respectfully overrated. Except Percival and Herod.
Thoroughly enjoy y'all's content. Regarding PdM, Galloway and Greenley are my faves...I am simple minded I suppose. I enjoy a challenge every once in a while (i.e. Kalan), but it depends... perhaps I'm more adventurous in the winter. Btw, I sprayed Hacivat for the first time today...I went nose blind quickly, but the fam definitely kept noticing it. Nice scent. So Justin... Creed... yes...I enjoy a few, but I do migrate towards other less known niche fragrances...I kinda like wearing something no one else wears. Regarding Mancera, I need to give them a few more wears... generally too sweet for me, but my fragrance journey is further along nowadays. Regarding amouage, not my bag baby... amazingly enough, I'm only a fan of oud in moderate quantities...
Anyhow, just rambling here...would love you guys looking into Andy Tauer, Allessasndro Gualtieri (Orto Parisi & Nasomatto), zoologist, Olympic orchids, aaron terence hughes, etc...some other lesser known niche. All my best!

it is pretty funny, I bought some beard oil recently that I like on my own face but my partner thinks it smells like car wax like you would use to polish the dash and steering wheel of your car.😅
IMO, Carlisle and Red Tobacco are close enough that a non collector wouldn’t need both. They’re close enough in the air the dry down that they’re redundant.
Which is why I ended up selling Red Tobacco this past Saturday. Carlisle gives me what I need from this scent profile.

Alright, so I just heard your guys opinion on Creed colognes, and like literally, the two you mentioned are the two I own. I also have a 3.3 Green Irish Tweed, but I didn't want to be like everyone else with Aventus and just how little I had heard about the colognes, I sampled a bunch and those were my two favorites. Don't get it wrong, just cause something is really popular, I actually prefer that, but with Creed, everyone said that had to be my first niche and it was just talked up so much, it kinda turned me off Creed for a while and then when I did come back to the line those were my must owns.

Aoud Blue Notes is definitely a hidden gem in the line. I always forget how much I Ike it till I wear it then I'm stuck thinking "damn, why don't I wear this more" 🤔. And yes it lasts. The ladies love it too, I've got most of the compliments from that and Aoud Lemon Mint far as Mancera fragrances go. Melody Of The Sun is good too but it would be great if it was stronger.

PDM Carlisle definitely smells like Mancera Red Tobacco without a doubt. When I got Carlisle I was like "This is Red Tobacco" and it felt kinda redundant. But what I agree with is Carlisle is definitely more refine and smoother and Red Tobacco is more aggressive with that oud. They're quite similar but with slight differences that separates them
I find them different enough that I reach for them for different occasions. Carlson for me is just much more refined and elegant. Something that completes a well put together outfit. Whereas Red tobacco for me is more casual. Like when I’m wearing jeans, a sweater and want to assault everyone within 10ft, Red tobacco is the choice. You can find similarities but for me they’re different enough to stand apart.
I find triumph of Bacchus smells a lot closer to RT. But again, better blended and MUCH rounder. Owning Bacchus and Carlise I’m not sure I need to get a FB of RT despite enjoying it and the DNA. That can change, but at the moment I have other frags at higher priority
@@dannymartinez3600 got Triumph of Bacchus and wore it today and you're absolutely right, it's closer to RT that Carlisle but smoother and more exquisitely blended. I also agree that Carlisle is smoother than RT and I'd see myself wearing it on a winter date where as I wouldn't wear Red Tobacco. I'd more wear RT to a pool 🎱 hall in my leather jacket. But with all that said I still wouldn't have gotten Carlisle had I sampled it first because I believe it very similar to RT but not that abrasive... Now what's FB?

tried and tried to like Kalan but noooo been doing PDM for years and wanted to like it upon its release but it doesn't work. Not under appreciated. I got Greenley before the name change.
This says it all about Creed even when they gave out the 10th anniversary bottle for free ppl rightly ish on it. Still have a 12 creed w/ lil left & a 13 which had no change than my wifey purchased me a 16 & initially thought it could be fake but I knew it wasn't but what it was was a shadow of 12 & 13. Recently smelled a 21 iirc & I will never buy creed again even silver mountain water. They don't care about the brand anymore only profits. There way better scents for the price. Quite sad cus I made lots of good memories w creed but not worth it anymore.

Aventus 2016 batch you should care. Big difference between that one which lasts at least 12 hours and is beast mode and current Aventus which is watered down garbage and no, maceration does not help it.

Familiar scent memory can be an issue when exploring new fragrances.
For me it's Cremo "Silver Water & Birch". I was looking forward to smelling it as a blind buy (based on reviews).
on the first spray, what hit me was the scent memory of my mom's AquaNet hair spray from way back in the day (60's & 70's).
I've tried to wear it after that, but can't get past that AquaNet memory. It's not an offensive scent to me, just not something I want to smell like.
OMG I thought such niche fragrances don't need any maceration. I thought we will get an already matured product in the box. (referring to the Creed Viking)

Aura Fragrance once accidentally sent me a 15ml decant of Unutatmam, instead of Ani. Oh my lol It's unbelievably bad and one of the strongest I've ever smelled.

I have tried Viking from Creed several times over the last year and I love the scent. However, the longevity is awful, after an hour you could barely smell it. Very disappointed
