      Morning Dew Or the way we designed our computer code uses mathematics because that's how the universe works. What came first, the universe or the code? I'd say the universe because there doesn't seem to be any substantial evidence towards code coming first. The theory that our universe's system of logic was designed by beings from beyond our own universe cannot be proven as a nature of it's being, but is nonetheless a possibility. I just find it to be an improbability.
      Also, this comment had absolutely nothing to do with solipsistic theories, why are you putting this comment here of all places? You have a passion for intelligence thought, which is amazing, but your'e treating intelligence like it is an end, and not a means to an end. Don't just try to look intelligent for clout, actually be intelligent. No judgement, I've done my fair share of brain-bragging too, but people tend to find it pretentious because... it is.

    There's a mistake in 1:06:22 , in order to transform from slope intercept form to standard form, the sign of -1/3 needs to changed to positive. The answer of slope intercept form is y=-1/3x the standard form needs to be 1/3x+1y=0 instead of -1/3x+1y=0 and the final answer is 1x+3y=0 instead of -1x+3y=0

      yes, you must add 1/3 x to both sides in order to "move" it to the other side of the equal sign. It should read (1/3)x + y = 0, or x+3y=0

    • @robertrieke8521
      @robertrieke8521 2 года назад +3

      Yes, agreed with Jacob and Rebecca above. The -1/3x needed to be added to both sides of the equation to move the fraction to the left of the equal sign. Then, multiply everything by 3 to remove the fraction. My answer: x+3y=0. Otherwise, this is a great tutorial to help prepare for Algebra II. Thank you.

    Just wanted to say thanks for these easy to understand tutorials. I'm long finished with school, but I'm bored in this pandemic, and I wanted to look at math again (for the heck of it). I remember math being one of those classes I hated. It was not until high school I had a bully of a math teacher who made fun of me for being bad at Honors Algebra II. She said mean things about me in front of the class - even checked my middle school records to see if I was just a horrible math student. Turns out she found out I was very good at math, but for some reason couldn't understand her lessons.
    By far she was the worst teacher I ever had where I contemplated many dark thinks because she made me feel so alienated, but THIS? I understand this, and I'm happy to realize that I'm not bad at math at all lol.

    watching this video bc I have a final chapter test on Wednesday for alegra 2. And I’m freaking out bc I forgot what I learned, AND I failed qrt. 1. Remind you I’m a junior who just started qrt. 2, and on my grades are still an F. It’s not too late to get my grades up... but math is just too hard for me. I blame myself for not paying attention, cheating, slacking, kissing ass to my teachers so they can bump my grade up, and overall not listening in the first place. I really want to like math, but ever since I was in elementary, i didn’t cared about school or math especially. 6th grade I had a teacher, and the only reason why I had one is bc my mom signed me up for one. I liked my tutor bc she would alway bribes me with candy or food so I can do the problem. It helped. But now I’m in high school. Freshman year, again I didn’t cared about school or grades. Why I did that? Idk I just wanted to act cool and would always come school late or wouldn’t even come school at all. My math teacher didn’t want me to fail me bc he knew I wouldn’t survive. All the qrt’s i had straight D’s. In my school D’s are a passing grade. And I some how moved on the the next grade. I know I don’t deserve. Sophomore year, I told myself to just stay focus and don’t slack. I kept that promise, and I passed with a C. But the only downside is that I cheated on most of testes. Ikr stupid. Now here I am begging for some help, staying after school on Thursday in math class for tutoring. Watching your video so I can some what manage to remember what I’ve learned in the past 2 months, so I don’t keep failing my test. (this is why you study guys, stop going on your phones and not doing hw, be productive and stop procrastinating). Bc when it comes to a test your screwed.

    Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a monster/mammoth Algebra Two Introduction, Basic Review, Factoring, Slopes, Absolute Value, Linear and Quadratic Equations. The entire video is an awesome start for all students who plan to study Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering.
