I loved Blumaan when he first started but now he's too biased since he released his own products. He stopped a lot of the reviews for cheaper brands and ignores the most popular brands. Even when he reviews things he always mentions that he likes his brand better which doesn't feel authentic.
I literally tried some clay I had laying around after washing and conditioning my hair, combined it with some sea salt spray and styled it copying your method. im having the best hair day ive had in months. Thanks my man
I tend to use a paste most of the time because I have long hair. Gives it a bit of structure without making it heavy. My hair is rather thick and coarse, and the paste also helps with taming any frizz I might be having. Also combo that with some coconut oil after washing for a bit of natural shine and protection from the elements, perfection.

Shear Revival Northern Lights is an absolute god-tier product. I've tried loads of hair products and I'm still yet to find anything as good as it. For anyone with fine, straight hair that tends to lack volume, give it a try.

Searched: hair texture. Always did my own. So many videos about styling! Yours very informative about types of products and what effects to expect. Might try the clay or the paste, especially if less likely to stain.
I definitely have had the best experiences using pastes, with pomades coming in second for me. It's just so hard finding good pastes and pomades that don't contain either beeswax or lanolin, because both of them are really fricken nasty stuff but they're so common. I've been using Layrite's natural matte paste the most lately though, and it's really good.
@@krakengrad It has a really nice texture, but it smells horrible, and it dries your skin out a little bit. Nothing crazy, it's not like it's gonna give you really chapped skin, but it's a bit annoying.

I used the Moroccanoil clay for a few weeks and I had problems washing the build up out then my hair started falling out. This was the only product I switched from my routine. I figured the problem was the clay. Taking a closer look with a microscope with my barber the residue was off the charts. Today I buzzed all my hair to start fresh with a nioxin microdermabrasion. I’m pretty bombed out about it, at this point I had been growing my hair for almost a year. :(
Jesus. Now I don't want to try it lol. It does seem from the clays I've gotten in the past that they are the thickest and hardest to get in there (and I guess get out too)

Kevin Murphy Rough Rider has been fantastic though, but it is more oily and difficult to wash out when compared to the Moroccan Oil. Choose wisely
The hair on my head started falling out big time after an extremely stressful period I went through. So, I myself researched the net and decided to test a hair oil called litttleextra coocoonion & a comb made of neem wood. The results really made a difference. At present, my hair is lengthy, thick, dark hair that has reached my waist and trimmed three times after I started. Simple and good. Also, equally good is massaging the scalp - it promotes the growth. You just must do this weekly. Before long, you'll see short hairs growing in.

Idk if this is a one man production or a team but it really comes across as quality work to me. You have a great screen presence and speak clearly and smoothly, I could imagine you hosting one of those big shows ex,Carson daily and the voice. Whatever that job tittle is. The camera was well positioned and well lit. And the video overlays were clear but not distracting or unnecessary. Not sure why exactly but this videos popped to me and I felt I should share that. Hey Robin! Watched one of your routine videos the other night. How do you keep your hair so healthy after applying so many products (pre-stylers, stylers, hairspray/powder)? My scalp always feels very icky and itchy whenever I use the same routine. Love your videos and keep up the great work!
U probably should do clarifying washes every week using a clarifying shampoo to rly get the product and the oils out of ur hair, another thing you can do is vary ur products so that on some days u use heavier products and on other days u give ur scalp a break and use milder products :) hope this helps ♡
I tried Moroccanoil texture clay but was disappointed - it doesn't feel nice in my hair, I never get good hold and I really dislike the smell. I usually use Hanz De Fuko claymation but I fancy a change, my hair is approaching a similar length to Robin's in this video at the moment (not quite as long yet). Anyone have any suggestions?
Hey thank you so much for the timestamps and all I've always had such dense and unmanageable hair that my hair always goes back to falling on my forehead even after I use a bunch of American Crew Fiber This video is like my starting point of learning what I can use (ideally matte so I'm thinking clays or pastes) I was going to default to the gel my barber uses but after reading some men's fashion stuff people have said gel has fallen out and fibers and such are in... it's all so much info and I just need something super strong lol. But! every time I go to the isle of hair products at my local Walmart I'm like what in the f* is a pomade, what's a wax, what's the regular medium strong hold. WHAT IS ALL THESE???????!!!!!!😂 and I just end up taking a good old regular hair gel cause I ain't got the resources to just buy everything, test it and have it not work or worse!: have it leave my hair with white residue that a few hours later will look like dandruff cause it's a cheap product!!!!! I have a lot of question related to hair styling products. I have been trying new products for the last 1.5 year. First I tried keune paste, it was a good product, it had shinny finishing but it made my hair hard . Then i tried product by the name of "Bed head from tigi". It was mentioned on the product that it has matte finishing, well when i used it on dry hair, it didn't gave a good hold on hair so I started using it on wet hair. It gave good hold but shine look. After that i tried Rockaholic by tigi(styling paste, pomada moldeadore). It only gave good hold when the hair are a lil wet and it gave strong hold and shiny look. Now i am using a styling product by QOD baber shop(Pomada Capilar). Now it is mentioned on the product that it has a strong and matte effect. It does have matte effect but not strong hold. So, i just wanted to know that is there any good product(clay,paste,pomada) that has matte effect and strong hold on silky hair? Note: I am a bike rider, so please suggest me a product that does stand against strong wind.

Now i am using a styling product by QOD baber shop(Pomada Capilar). Now it is mentioned on the product that it has a strong and matte effect. It does have matte effect but not strong hold. So, i just wanted to know that is there any good product(clay,paste,pomada) that has matte effect and strong hold on silky hair?
Note: I am a bike rider, so please suggest me a product that does stand against strong wind.

It’s just another marketing name for a type of water based pomade. The “cream” part usually refers to its consistency.
