Of course males don’t understand the troubles of women, but women truly underestimate how bad men get it. Hair loss is both a confidence and life killer.
It’s not a life killer bro get that out of your head. It’s just hair, you’re still you.

Some people get it a lot worse than others, I started losing mine and although I’m self conscious about it I’m not entirely worried. My brother on the other hand it started a 2 year journey of anxiety.
Bannanana your brother should go to a mental health professional who can help him unpack why he’s having severe anxiety. i’m 19 and starting to bald and yes it sucks because no one my age has this problem, for now i just wear hats everywhere. once i finish college i’m going to make the leap and go bald. it’s just a part of life for some of us. instead of losing your hairline your gaining freedom from anxiety about always having to cover it up. it’s liberating. look at jake paul always trying to hide his hairline, he would look so much better if he just went for it. and if people don’t like it fuck them i don’t need them around me

It bothers me when dudes in their late 30s or older complain that theyre losing hair. I started losing mine around 17 or 18 and now at 23 it’s bad enough that I gotta start shaving my head. Just be grateful you got to live your prime years with all your hair!
Edit: am 25 now and started shaving my head around the time I made this comment. I just keep my beard really thick and it’s not something I’m insecure about or even think about anymore. It’s not a big deal once you just embrace it lol. Just remember the thing women are attracted to most is confidence and humor. Men tend to not realize this. I noticed the receding hairline in the corners in my 20's. But I think working under a lot of stress really accelerated the progress.
At like 27 the crown area started to show and the front started to recede in an uneven line.
At 32 now my hairstyle is a low buzzcut to try and
Match the top with my sides as best possible.
Prolonged negative stress is pretty much the worst thing you can do to your body. Quite apart from hairloss it can introduce and worsen all kinds of illnesses as bad as cancer and most likely accelerates aging as well. If you're feeling stressed all the time find the root problem that is causing it and solve it in one way or another. The worst thing you can do is hide and shy away from it, face up to your demons or they'll consume you, quite literally.
As soon as you said "If you are in your early twenties, dont worry about it" that made me feel a while lot better becouse I've really been trying to convince myself that I just have a maturing hairline and not a receeding one, thank you dude just your reassurance made me feel allot better.

Starting from the end, you really look good with your scalp shape and with the system too.. And yes I agree with the hat thing exerting pressure and preventing ventilation. I try to keep my hair tie a bit loose and just let it fall down whenever appropriate.. I may add to this non punctual shampooing also may increase hairloss. Indeed as we age new unwanted hair grows everywhere., mine at back and ears
You are absolutely right , my one brother , 4 sisters all heavy ,heavy hair , actually I tried selling my brother some hair roots , kidding , he lost a lot of his hair just like you in his early 20’s , but the woman all loved him. ❤️. The shaved style suits you so good man, could say it was a blessing for you to lose your hair and find that style! Good video btw!
as a teenager I used to have very pronounced corners of my hair, that used to be no more than an inch above my eyebrows. it looked like a little box above my head.
those corners retracted as I came into my 20s but stayed there.
so point being, don't stress about it
Yeah balding started happening to me around 25. It wasn't even just a receding hairline, instead all of a sudden my hair was just incredibly thin all over on the top of my head, and it looked awful. Thick beautiful hair on the sides of my head, thin, sparse, see-through, scraggly hair on the top of my head.
That is actually a mental trick your subconscious plays on you, most people do not notice hair loss by the time 50% of their hair is gone.
Same thing here. I think a big part of it for me was ripping hairs out of my head while doing my hair back with pomade (my hair falls forward naturally). I'm pretty sure after doing my hair with pomade for a couple years I have irreversibly damaged a lot of the hair follicles. Just started using rosemary/peppermint oils to try to repair them but it may be too little too late.
Mid 20s for me. Anyways, I met a 16yo that was losing it too. No big deal for him tho he was a tall, good looking guy. But I tell myself it's just hair, no one cares. It's nature, just don't try to hide it.
I am 16 and hairline looking like the mcdonalds sign. I am pretty lucky because I have thick wavy dirty blonde hair that covers it up pretty well. I am lucky because two of my friends have a balding disease and have been bald since elementary.
But they do care; everyone cares lmfao are you new to modern society and the concept of beauty standards or?

I started experiencing hair loss in my early 20's also. 31 years of age now. and my hair line was gone. same with my midscalp area. My hair isn't very presentable anymore. Salon guy, of everything goes good for me id love for you to give me a hair cut and im sure we can both relate to this issue.
Well, my experience, I moved into another town when I turned 26, I started to lose a lot of hair in the shower, the sides started to get pushed back. Well, one side at least since my other side was always fucked up even when I was a kid. My hair turned from soft and thick to fine and dry, the new town I moved to also had hard water compared to the soft/medium water in the city I grew up in. I started to read about it and you could prevent the hard water with filters but it would be expensive and hard to install in rented apartments.
Now I am soon 31 and I have not seen much more changes in my hair for the last 2-3 years, did it stop? For now yes. Forever? I hope so, the biggest changes I did was not using shampoo every day and using conditioner every time I used shampoo, I also bought a head massage thing in the shower that I use when I use shampoo and conditioner. I have never used much products in my hair, I am more of a cap and beanie guy.
I've always had a recessed hairline. Even as a little kid. Lol.
Growing up, I always had cowlicks in those two corners. When I became an adult I tried shaving my own head and I kind of ran the clippers along my scalp and I realized the reason I've always had those dumb cowlicks is because my hairline has always been thin right there.
I think it's important to be yourself and stay amicable and happy. Because that makes you more attractive. Even if you have a bad hair day.
WHat a chill dude
i get irrationally worried about losing hair. mostly cause i dont like my head shape and i cant grow a nice beard. i used to have really thick hair but now it feels more fine. ive been growing it out though for the last 2 years and idk if that has anything to do with it. i also have heard mixed views on if dandruff causes hair loss and as someone that has somewhat bad dandruff naturally it gets me worried. i just get so stressed when i think about it and i know that as far as life goes there are bigger things to worry about but i cant help it.
luckily my dad and grandad (who’s in his 60s) still have pretty thick hair
I'm 19 and just got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, now I've noticed for a couple months my hair is thinning. It's doesn't help that my hair is light brown/ dark blond. Man, can't Catch a break, I love my hair.
I love this man
I think it’s genetics. Some of us are thirty plus, still have hair. And am thankful everyday.
I think a good way to tell (at the very onset) is if you are losing hairs that are shorter than they should be. Hairs go through a growing phase (between 2 and 18 years), a resting phase (a few months), shedding and a repeat of the cycle. If your hair is long (over a foot), the shortest hairs you should be shedding are those that were growing for 2 years. This means around 1 foot in length, since your hair grows about 6 inches per year. If you are losing hairs that are shorter than this (for example, hairs that are 6 inches long and fine at the tip - new hairs), it indicates a problem. Either telogen effluvium (brought on by severe psychological stress or physical trauma) or pattern baldness.
lol if you cut your hair short this doesn't work
53 and my hair started thinning a bit at the back like 5 years ago. I've been on topical finasteride and minoxidil for about a year, stopped it in its tracks, and maybe even gained a bit.
I'm sure it started with scalp inflammation. Deal with that before anything. Itching dandruff, boils ect...
How did you maintain hair after all them years

I’m 26,and after about 6 months of not going to a barber due to the pandemic, I’ve noticed that at each corner of my hairline, there’s baby hairs or hair that just doesn’t grow past a certain point giving me a widows peak like appearance, I’ve also noticed my hair is thin at the crown, but I have a couple of bald spots back there due to an accident when I was younger. When I take a shower/brush my hair, I notice no hair falling and I remember my hairline being like this since I was about 18, if I was balding wouldn’t it become very noticeable in that period of time or can some people just have non balding and super weird hairlines? Haha thanks for the video!
I used to do all kind of treatment to my hair and it began to recede but I stopped and in 2 years it came back... so I guess keeping your head clean and natural plus good nutrition equals keeping hair longer...
I think you look good bro i mean im 15 and i watch your videos all the time because you're freaking good at hair
I'm 16 and I started noticing that my hairline started receding when I was 14. I used to have a round hairline but now it's almost a complete M shape. When I see my hair strands that fell off, I notice that the root part is thinner than the top. I feel like my hair has thinned but since I had thick hair it's harder to tell.
I feel you man am 16 too, and my hair is like that I think am going to shave it, they say buzz cutting it can slow the process down
Pretty sure you arent losing it, for many guys the shape of the frontal line chantes during puberty, You may had had a straight line and end up with an m. Thats natural and has nothing to do with androgenic alopecia. If You see that your hairline starts having abroupt gaps then ir may be alopecia
Ur fine i feel like 50% of guys have an m hairline and it has nothing to do with balding
@@eltioriqui5123 i'm 16 but i already had big 4head and there is some thinning at front and it's uneven. Kinda shaped like m, is that maturing hairline
@@Ghoats it is technically the same thing, but some men are very minimally sensitive in areas beyond the frontal hairline. further hair loss could take 10-20 years to become noticable. The "mature hairline" is caused by androgens, which is why women dont get it, so it doesnt make sense to call it a completely seperate process, and means you aren't immune to mpb altogether.
I'm 21 and I've had a type 2 norwood scale hairline since I was 15. I had straight fine hair with decent density. But since last year I've noticed my hair density has decreased and thinnig too. My hair on the front starts to curl if I grow it even to eyebrow level. It used to fall down on my forehead like anime hair before but now it just curls up, its so annoying.

i had some hair loss periods but gained my hair back its all about making the day positive and not have an addiction.
As a man turning 28 in March with a father in his mid fifties with a receding hair line i know its coming thats why im growing mine out and taking full advantage it while I still can
I'm in my mid 40's, and have worn hats for most of my life. I can attest that wearing a hat more than likely contributed to me developing a widow's peak.
It isn't a widow's peak, you are just balding in the temples

I think this isn't just only related with your hat pressuring your head. You can also notice hair loss in your bed after waking up, mainly over your pillow which is covered with some hair. Though I agree that the hat contributes even more for hair loss.
i love the comment section and the stories so imma tell mine.
4 years ago i used to smoke all the time, i was living an unhealthy life style, eating only junk food , doing no sport at all and drinking very small amount of water daily.
one day i was washing my hair and a huge amount of hair fallen into the sink, i was terrified as an insecure teenager so i started -slowly- turning into a more healthier life style..
now in 2022 i'm 20 years old, i have a very good health hair, i do cardio everyday and i really nailed a commitment.
trust the process and have faith my boys
Your story sounds exactly like mine, got pretty unhealthy during the first covid lockdown and hair started falling. With a healthier lifestyle it stopped. Until a year later that is, when it kicked on again, unexpectedly. Nothing natural helped, because of course this time it was the real deal, what causes most men to go bald, androgenic alopecia. Long story short I eventually jumped on finasteride and it saved my ass.
So watch out, don't foolishly think that it will naturally go away or that you can take some vitamin or massage the scalp, etc. When its the Norwood reaper the only "natural" thing that will stop it is castration, but no need to go to such extremes...for most at least.
My hairline hasn't really moved much(im 30) but my crown for the last 2ish years as far as ive noticed has been thinning. At first it was negligible, but recently it's getting close to becoming a real bald spot. But tbh i always told myself if i made it to 30 I'd have enough time to mess with my hairstyles and would be fine with the inevitable.
If my right side looks thinner than my left is that a sign of hair loss?

The fact that I see this after making a joke of me going bald to my girlfriend is lowkey worrying
Same story as him, I still have decent hair but, give it 2-3 years I’ll shave it completely. I just rock a military style atm.
I miss my thick jet black quiff, but genetics are genetics.
I was soo nervous as I was waiting for your hints... wondering if I have them
I had a receding hairline at 16-17 I’m 18 now and it’s back to the top corners of my head. My dad is bald too. You think I will be? Anything I could do to help stop this
