You need to go get a blood test done. And you have to take the hair loss meds. The sooner the better. There is more then enough info on youtube to keep your hair. And if you don't want to do all that.
I just went through my closet the other day and found some old hair styling products that I don't use anymore like Got2Be, Old Spice and so on. I threw them out since your hair styling products reign supreme and are healthier than their stuff! I'll NEVER go back to that cheap crap! So thank you brother!
@@Ajan4700 rewatch this video for the difference or the one on realmenrealstyle but in short pomade is shiny with a high hold and paste is low or matte with a medium or high hold
The ULTIMATE Hair Styling Product Guide For Men (clay, paste, pomade, cream, powder, gel, sea salt) 00:00 - 💡 The video introduces a comprehensive guide on various hair styling products, emphasizing the speaker’s passion and experience in the industry. 00:19 - 📊 Hair products have evolved from simple options like gel and mousse to a wide range including sea salt sprays, texturizing powders, and curl creams. 01:23 - 🛡 Hold and shine are key terms in hair styling products. High hold means less movement, while high shine makes hair look wet. 02:00 - 🌊 Sea salt spray adds texture and volume to hair, preventing it from looking flat. It works well on both damp and dry hair. 02:27 - 🔍 Texturizing powder is used to add volume and a natural look. It should be applied to dry hair and can be restyled throughout the day. 03:55 - 💭 Hair thickening and texturizing cream adds volume to thinner hair without making it look weighed down. It provides low shine and light hold. 04:34 - 🌟 Creams offer a lighter hold and a healthy shine. They are ideal for longer hair, helping to smooth flyaways and frizz. 05:11 - 🌈 Curl cream defines curls without making them look greasy or crunchy. It also controls frizz and flyaways for a natural look. 05:47 - ✨ Hair paste provides medium hold and shine, suitable for medium to long hairstyles. It offers better manageability compared to creams or texturizing products. 06:36 - 🌿 Hair clay offers medium to upper medium hold with low shine. The application method affects its final look; dry application yields a more natural result. 08:10 - 🔥 Emulsification is key for effective product application. Proper heating and blending ensure better results. 08:33 - 🚀 Pomades are popular for shorter hairstyles, offering moderate hold and shine. Water-based pomades are easier to wash out. 09:27 - 🎯 Putty provides high hold and low shine. It’s versatile but can be difficult to extract from the container. Dry hands are recommended for application. 10:31 - 💧 Gel delivers maximum shine and hold, suitable for very shiny, spiky, or slicked-back hairstyles. 11:03 - ✋ Hairspray is less recommended due to its tendency to stiffen hair, but it can be used as a final step to lock in a style. 11:31 - 🧩 For thin or fine hair, lighter products like sea salt sprays and texturizing powders are better as they add bulk without clumping.
I have thick, kinda wavy, longer hair. I want something that’ll tame it, keep it out of my eyes, and look not stupid. I don’t want it really shiny or crunchy. I ended up going for a clay, and a sea salt spray. Seems to be working alright so far. I’m still experimenting with it, trying to figure out the right amount, and how to do it. The first time, I did it with wet hair, and I put a fat glob in there, and I showed up to church with it looking all greasy, and weird. My friends noticed too. It was bad lol
What about hair mousse? Do guys still use this stuff? What’s it good for? I’ve been using it but wonder if I should move on to something better like a clay.
I've recently started to lose a bit of hair and even before had thin hair so most of the products didn't really work for me. Spray with high hold actually does the trick. Set up decent look, make it hold in place and I'm set to go. 🔥
A very helpful video would be getting a couple of people/models with different hair textures, such as long thick hair, shorter hair, thinning/receding hair and showing us the best products with their hair type
I just wash my hair, lightly dry it with a towel, then, i kneel down in front of my air conditioner in my bedroom window, running my hands through my hair till it drys.
I'm letting my hair grow out because I'm the front man vocalist for a 70s and 80s glam metal cover band, and I don't want to wear a wig. I need products that will give me Hold and Volume so my hair can stay out of my eyes and face while still looking full and wild
I use a topical Minoxidil & Finasteride ointment to combat my hair loss; should I use an additional product to get that 1940's neat and slightly slicked look?
No don't use any styling hair products on your head when you have applied minoxidil. Let the minoxidil do it's job. Get a shorter - medium length classic haircut and don't worry about to use any hair styling products.
that pomade is my fav, too bad is 30 for a little jar, I usually use the axe hairstyle which was similar, no residue, smells good, soft. cheaper but bigger also
Aaron, I have ridiculously thick hair that grows crazy fast which means it’s usually longer than I like it to be. The wife hates running her fingers through my hair and feeling product, but I still want a decent amount of hold and little to no shine. What would you recommend for me?
I do a slickback on an angle with my hair and I'm currently using America Crew medium pomade and while I really dig it, i'm thinking about upping it to their strong pomade. i always get little tiddly bits of hair that just wont lay down
Or go get a hair transplant or don't and shave it or get smp or you can buy a hair piece. The hair pieces today are so good no one will never know unless you tell them

Embrace it and use Baby Oil
If you don’t want to embrace it then there are treatments that you can research and try!
Don't listen to these fools. Hair regrowth treatments are snake oil. Embrace it, brother. You'll finally be free.

Got2be is cheap??
@@spudo6 Absolutely, in my area it is.
@@jonspartan1188 fair enough, just last time I saw it in a shop was like 15€ for small bottle of gel
I use Got2B Phenomenal forming paste that I got from Germany and I like it… I wanna know whats da difference between it and pomade tho.

Honestly, out of all the hair styling products I’ve tried, Pete & Pedro is one of my favorites.
Definitely one of the best products I’ve tried. 👍
Please do a video with different hairstyles, short and thinness with your products please.
Now this, is the content I sub for.
Thank you so much this is very helpful!

Damnn it’s been more than 10 years since I’ve been following you. I still remember when you started P&P and came out with the spray and putty
matt clay actually hold much stronger than putty with less shine
Thank you Aaron!! This tutorial was rad 👏!
I just wash my hair, lightly dry it with a towel, then, i kneel down in front of my air conditioner in my bedroom window, running my hands through my hair till it drys.
I need something vegan that dries hard like gel but a bit less wet cause gel shows too much scalp
