- Felt like taking it back to basics with this one! I started out my channel with product reviews and haven't done one in absolute ages. Hope you enjoy!

Remember, Kevin Murphy Night Rider would work for people that don't have super thick hair. (In my opinion there are better strong hold products, however).
Rough Rider break down -
Pros:
- great for thick hair
- adds serious control
- a little goes a LONG way
- lasts all day long (with the right hair type)
- smells good
Cons:
- very specific to thick hair only, (or hair that is easy to style)
- can make hair feel dry/sandy... almost a bit dirty. However, I think this helps add to the texture/grip
- does not wash out with water only, requires shampoo
- can sometimes make my hair start to poof... however I have hair that tends to poof easily

+BluMaan I have the SuperGoo, an thermal elastique gel with a strong flexible hold. It´s a great product and so much better than Hanz de Fuko Hybridzed Wax. I can use it for a strong hold and many shine or for a matt finish with volume. The blowdryer is your best friend by this product. Maybe you have the possibility to test it for us ;)

I know its been 2 years, but it is put in those "boring round packages" so that you can more easily get all the product out because it has less corners where the product gets into

Considering you have a certain amount of packaging material, making round packaging gives the most room for the product. It saves money for you (cuz you're the one who'll pay for any extra packaging material). So, you'll be paying less for more product

So Joe, have you ever compiled a list of quality products you've used? I used to use the cheap stuff and I've come to realize that quality products make a hug difference! I've had a hard time finding good products though. Also! I love your channel, and it has helped me along in my hair journey so much! You're truly an inspiration! Keep being you man!

I use this product every day i love it the hold can last 2 - 3 days if you can't be bothered to shower even when wet it doesn't come out so great for the rain and then when it drys it still has hold. Great Product in my opinion. I have very fine straight blonde hair works great. looks like I'm not wearing any product at all.
Using Rough Rider now for almost 4 months, very happy with the product! Good review!
Try not to wash your hair constantly .cause it's takes away the oils to keep your hair soft and nice . It might seem bad but it's good .

For me, on the side of the By Vilain matte products its my favourite clay ever. Great quality, great and long lasting hold, great texture and looooong lasting packaging with more than 3 ounzes.
I use KM Night Rider (so guys, there is actually a product called that, he's not referring to Knight Rider) and I find I get a similar result but the texture is not as gritty. And it smells like lemons, which is pretty good.
If you're in Australia, it's much cheaper than elsewhere, it's a local product. My hairdresser sells it for $30 AUD (about $21 USD or £13)
I always use the Kevin Murphy Night Rider rather than the Rough Rider. The texture and feel is so much better. You should review Label M Power Paste.

Normally i style my hair using a blowdryer and spongewax but i can never achieve the volumizing look you have, my hair always falls towards either direction after leaving it to dry for an hour. hope you can gimme some hints. Where can I get this online? Their locator section doesn't have an up to date list of shops that carry Kevin Murphy. I called a place by my work, and they said they haven't carried Kevin Murphy products for a couple years.
Why does my hair seem worse when I blow dry it? It starts to go really wavy to the point it's hard to style, it seems the straighter your hair; the easier it is to style. After blow drying, the end of the strands curl into a different direction from the direction I want it styled.

I have super thick hair. I think it's thicker than yours. it's wavy but when I try to get the undercut look the volume always makes the middle part stick out the most. any tips?
