i just recently read that if your child is constantly sitting in the front of you in their carrier (on your chest and they are facing forward) they are over stimulated then therefore get frustrated. the article said put them on your back facing forward with their face toward your back while you do chores or etc. they will be calmer and parents can get things done whilst still being engaged with their child. Love you all!! everything looks beautiful on the land. Frankie is so adorable and so are her parents! 😘
Yes! I wore my baby on my back everywhere, and she absolutely loved it.
Forward facing is actually supposed to be a very limited amount of time. Back carry can be done as long as you want.
They're also not supposed to be facing forward because it's bad for their back development.
Stop reading bullshit. Bec’s doing an amazing job and there is no right or wrong way to carry your child. You do what is comfortable for you. The problem with this generation is that they google absolutely everything and overthink a lot. I grew up just fine and I’m sure you did too without our mums being told that you can’t hold your child this or that way so tell me what is the problem 🤷♀️

She appeared to be asking for advice on how to get housework done while the baby is awake and they gave her an awesome tip. I had 4 kids and NEVER thought about doing that. What a great idea!!

Parenting advice... teach them to respect, give them lots of love, encourage good work ethic, and enjoy every stage of their lives. Before you know it, they're all grown up.
My credentials - I'm in a rented cottage with both of my adult children who passed on other things to do to enjoy the week with Ma and I. That's a win!
One trick to try is to do a grounding activity with Frankie by sitting with her on the floor with some toys near the sink and when she feels settled and grounded /secure . You can stand up and work next to her . The same goes for if you want to walk away from her or when she starts crawling,sit down with her and wait until she crawls away from you and tell her what you’re doing . I hope this makes sense . Sometimes if you pick a child up and set them down they might not feel oriented.

Shocking way to ‘play/wrestle’ with Oso! He’s clearly a big softie but if he suddenly decides he’s had enough and snaps back you’d blame him and not the irresponsible handling…
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way they were playing with Oso. He was not covering up his nose. You can clearly see his nostrils. He was just squishing his snoot while playing and it was literally like three seconds, Oso loved it and was having fun playing, and you can tell by the way he continued to be playful afterwards. Mind your own business and keep your thoughts to yourself. It’s not your dog and you weren’t there. You only saw a few seconds. You obviously don’t understand how dogs play.
Personally I love a week in the life, or a day in the life. I dislike that content creators always think they have to have some massive project going on to make a video. Sure projects are nice. But also, I like behind the scenes or what a regular day looks like. ❤

Yes, the morning is my favorite time of the day too! It is so nice to see you enjoying your lake house with family and friends. It is the perfect place for large gatherings. Turning that greenhouse into a guest house was brilliant!

Yes! I loved my sling for all four of mine. They’re so versatile. I sewed quite a few when my babies were little! My second oldest is my only extrovert and his favorite position was forward facing with his knees tucked in, I wonder if there’s a connection. My introverts were overstimulated when forwards. They like side, or on my back.
Totally agree, it's important to document those moments in your life that matter. Frankie so cute, is coming into her own personality. Our household can get crazy like yours. Having lots of

These types of gatherings were all to common place with my family in the 70's, sadly with the four siblings in their 60's or close to it , health problems and job layoffs have reduce our gatherings to zero. Johnny jumper was mine and my boys saving grace when little. They could safely jump and watch me cook and clean. They loved it and now they’re grown it’s a fun memory. You can get the kind that hang from your door frame or their own frame.

As someone who’s watched y’all’s videos for years, I loved this video!! I basically never got to do housework while my daughter was awake until she could sit up and play with toys all by herself... But for real, once she could stand and climb by herself, the kiddie stool for the kitchen counter was invaluable. She could play at the counter, splash in the sink, or use the first step as a seat and the second step as a table. She still does and she's four!

My husband and I have been watching your channel since 2018.
In 2019, we converted a van and traveled together for half a year and we got so much inspiration from what you have shared.
We've been vegan for the animals since 2017 so seeing how another couple lived vegan and van life was so cool.
In May 2023 we found out we were pregnant for the first time. We now have our baby girl who was born January '24. There have been so many parallels it's crazy.

Get a baby sling! You wrap them up and they can be on your side on your back or on the front of you! If not try to seat train her, do little stints of her being in the chair while you wipe the counter and then pick her up for a minute give her some love and then put her back down and put a couple cups in the dishwasher and then give her attention without fully picking her up! Yes! You have to start those little 1-5 minutes without you holding them - it’s tough at first but the relief when they’re finally independent is the best. I had a screamer and now she’s my best independent player of my kids.
Baby girl will have many moments to partake in the chores. Starting at two is great.
Wear Frankie facing out. She can see what you are doing and see the world. You can have her face your chest when she starts to get tired.

Lee committed suicide shortly after she broke off her relationship a few years ago...before Bec received her breast cancer diagnosis years ago. Everyone was devastating with her passing. Max spent a lot of time in his videos encouraging people to get help if they were facing mental health issues. 😢

I put my twins in their bouncers in the kitchen with me while I did dishes when they were around that age or in their little activity center! Now they are 20 months old and I usually clean up the kitchen while they have breakfast and they love watching me do dishes.
I love ❤ how when Bec smiles her whole face scrunches up, so cute, I think Frankie will have her 💖 smiles. 😊😊

Home movies are the best!!! My girls are 24 and 19 now, but when they were little my parents watched them while I went to work. They had an old school camcorder that my dad took endless video of them with. It’s my girls’ fav thing to do, sit and watch old home movies of themselves 🥰😍 I pull them out when I need a good cry 🥹
