lost me at "audience first, original music second". ❌ what good is the audience you've built on covers (podcasts, movies, twitch streams, etc.) when they don't convert to real fans of your music, which most of the time they don't, when all they want to hear is more covers, because this is what made them click in the first place. seen many examples of cover songs getting a lot of streams and views, and when the artist drops an original song, the interest is FAR less, almost crickets.
