The sense of scale is off, they chose to do live action, it does not seem to be faithfull to the game, and they went realistic. This teaser honestly breaks my heart.
I do not see how the hell they were supposed to make the scaling accurate. Minecraft blocks are 1 metre cubed, all the items would be massive.

I always imagined something in between Minecraft Story Mode's style and the post 1.14 trailers
I would've loved to see the movie in the perspective of Steve, and him meeting Alex, and them going through the whole journey of Minecraft as an average player does, punching a tree, building a dirt house, mining, finding diamonds, and at the end defeating the Ender Dragon. Jason Momoa should've been Steve honestly. That would've done justice to the nostalgia of Minecraft players.

i LOVED how the ghast looks. He actually has somewhat lava eyes instead of just ered eyes
from someone who loves nature documentaries and minecraft its a common thing for me i guess: the humans get in the way lol (i just wanna enjoy the scenery) but nah its pretty good, and the fact that the set designer designed the sets for LOTR now that ive seen them, its amazing, and a great blend between 1.18 world gen and real life
All in all, we can collectively agree that CaptainSparklez's "Fallen Kingdom" Minecraft series shaped our childhood and the Minecraft lore forever.
Hope the plot took inspiration from that cuz it is called "A Minecraft Movie"

minecraft freestyle movie it'll be awesome to see looks so cool and design the art as animation can be top notch
8:05 This sums my opinion up perfectly. The game is made for your own interpretations. It would be nice to see more Minecraft Movies that have different styles of filming, such as a more mystery or drama based movie. You could even do a LOTR style film with Minecraft. In the end, Who knows, maybe will get more.

Sonic was one model and skeleton they had to fix, the cgi issues (the world, the mobs, the lighting) is way to much to be fixed and still have the film release on schedule
