    I have the RDX inner gloves. They pad the knuckles well enough but the wrist support is useless. They will not prevent or protect your wrists from folding back on a bad hit to a heavy bag.

      Yeah that's what I found. They're quicker and easier to put on, but not as supportive as proper hand wraps

    Idk why but I where the quick wraps and I wrap my it with my hand wraps for that extra knuckle and everything support

      Uglychamploo I was thinking about buying these and doing that just for that extra support do you wear them under boxing gloves also?

      Uglychamploo Seems like a waste of money hand wraps are to make all your tendons and ligaments secure not protect your knuckles necessarily. Just buy a pair of 16 oz gloves if your hands are that frail.

    How do these compare to Hayabusa? Are they Mexican stretch style?

    @JohnnyBoy Kickboxer Hey buddy, I’m looking at buying a pair of the Fairtex wraps online but I want to know if they’re stretchy enough. I like really elastic, stretchy hand wraps. Compared to other wraps, how are the Fairtex in terms of stretch? Please help.

    • @johnnyboykickboxer8302

      Hey mate, yeah I found the Fairtex wraps to be stretchy enough to wrap tight, but still with a little give so they didn't feel as though they were cutting off the blood circulation to my hands. I did buy some Twins wraps and they weren't stretchy at all, so I went back to the Fairtex. Hope this helps fairtex.uk/handwraps

    How are they holding up? the thumb loop on my old wraps finally broke i had them for a long time they don't make the ones I have anymore .

      Hey djturk254, sorry to hear that the loops broke on your wraps. Mine are still holding out well, although they are beginning to fray and holes appear where the velcro fasten is constantly tugging at the fabric (probably me fastening too tight, lol). I have a few pairs of wraps (Fairtex and Hayabusa) and I tend to alternate them while the others are in the wash

    can you use only rdx inner gloves for a punching bag session or do you need to put them over boxing gloves?

    • @johnnyboykickboxer8302
      @johnnyboykickboxer8302  4 года назад

      The RDX inner gloves are meant for added support and protection (especially of hitting hard) and would go on first, and then the boxing gloves over the top

    • @dunno6442
      @dunno6442 4 года назад +1

      Yes you can but only if you're wists/knuckles are used to somewhat bare knuckle Contact, but if not use them under your boxing gloves, even if your hands are used to bare knuckle or wraps By themselves it's always smart to put them on under your gloves if you're hitting the bag hard for a somewhat long period.

    Just bought both hand wraps and RDX inner gloves, tested with just the (4 meters) wraps and the skin still comes off my knuckes. :(

    • @johnnyboykickboxer8302
      @johnnyboykickboxer8302  6 лет назад

      That's strange 😕
      I find the 4 meter wraps protect my hands plenty when used with my gloves. I know some guys do fold a length of wrap over their knuckles three or four times, and then continue to wrap as normal for extra padding on the knuckles, but I've never needed to do that. The main benefit of the wraps for me is the extra support for my hand when wearing my boxing gloves.
      What boxing gloves do you wear when using your wraps?

    • @yalijin3020

      I have thin and sensitive skin. For me, the 4.5m long hand wraps work well (around 6 layers on the knuckles plus excellent wrist support).
      You could also get some Winning knuckle guards to wear under wraps (they are on the pricey side but the gel works very well).
      Last but not least, try to use 16oz gloves as minimum, while for some people they are heavy, it will improve your strengh, speed and protect you more.
      Lastly, if you are a muay thai practitioner get some Top King Air, they are pretty soft gloves and more a way in between boxing and thai gloves; otherwise always opt for boxing gloves for better protection. Those Fairtex BGV1 are really stiff btw.

      Put some sports tape around your knuckles before you wrap, problem solved.
