Mr. Jeffries. I've been wrapping my hands wrong this whole time. I put your video on .50x and.75x speed, replayed couple parts and after I finished the tutorial I was astonished of how it looks and feels. super pro. I only wrapped my right hand following the tutorial but I can feel the power. My hand feels more free and less constricted, feels more protected on my wrist. I can feel the hardness of the knuckles through the wraps more too. I can feel my fist is a tighter fist and absolutely more fitting to the form of my fist. It also feels like my fist is a bit lighter. It really does feel like I can punch through a brick wall. Thank you Tony Jeffries.
Best method I've tried so far. It holds strong after a warm up, heavy bad training and a cool down session. The padding on the knuckles is on point, I hated my previous methods where the palm was unnecessarily stuffed

I would like this as well. Although, a good way is to move side to side while having your guard up. Also, my coach told me to jab jab jab, get your jabs in so he won't keep advancing/being aggressive. Cheers
I'm very impressed with your hand wrapping method. I've watched the entire video 3-4 times and rewound portions of it many times. Is there any way that you show a closeup of just your hands while doing the wrapping slowly? Although I haven't been able to do your method correctly, I have done the knuckle wrapping portion successfully and it has almost completely eliminated the discomfort I feel when I practice on the body bag. I just haven't been able to get finger and thumb wrapping portions correctly.

used to get a lot of knuckle soreness and pain in my left hand after 10-15 min of good work on the bag when I used to wrap my hand with other traditional ways. Pain as in I can push my glove into the wall slightly and that would hurt my knuckles. Tried this way of wrapping for the first time today, went literally for over an hour hitting as hard as I wanted to, and still felt good even after my workout. This is the best way of wrapping, for me at least. Literally made me so happy, could finally get a good heavybag session in without any pain or soreness coming up quickly.

These are not only the best boxing tutorial videos on RUclips, they're the best videos full stop
Thank you! I've been through couple of bad trainers so I decided to just learn on my own. I came across your videos about a month or so ago and you have helped me tremendously. I fight in September for the first time and I most definitely need your shared experience and knowledge.
How’d you go?
He truly is a professional boxer. And a good teacher
So you have a few shit trainers and you have a fight?
What happened
How was your fight? :)
My hands used to hurt so much with the old way I used to wrap em but after I used this it helped me tremendously, thank you Mr. Jeffries
This is honestly fantastic as well as easy as hell to follow. You really are the man Tony, please please keep rhe videos coming.
I just tried this out and I have to say, this guy is a F-ing legend. Best wrap technique I've ever used. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.
Thanks for this! Feels so much better than how I was wrapping in the past.
Tony, this was a super helpful and educational vid on what looks like the best way to wrap your hands. Going to try this today. Thank you!!
Thank you again Tony. Great information. This looks very efficient with extremely good points to maximize protection, security, and power output into the wraps helping your punches
Glad you enjoyed it mate
@@Tony_Jeffries thank you
I've gone through a bunch of hands wrapping videos and this one got the best instructions by far. Thank you Tony
I watched this video multiple times and I still can't tell when to add plaster of Paris.
hahaha
😂
and glass
You're the king! Thank you so much Tony! I've done it in dozen ways....but you're right, THIS is the best way! Thanks!
Great video coach!
I'd love to see a video on gear recommendations. Who makes quality wraps? Who has your favourite brand of focus mitts to hit and also train people with, etc.
I am new to fighting. I started to attend krav maga and i tested two methods on my hands. I liked this one more. It was a bit difficult to get from the video, but once I got it it's easy. Thank you for sharing❤ 🤘
Hey Tony could you do a video for hand conditioning. That would be a huge help.
I'm hooked on this guy's advice.
The way you break things down
Without arrogance.
So worth subscribing without a doubt!!!
Where do u get your wraps from i feel like my wraps are thicker than yours and it makes it sore around the fingers when boxing 😬
Good comment
What wrap do you have?
Just buy Fairtex
you can get elastic wraps, pro/semi pros tend to use them, but its also a personal favouring thing.
Winning hand wraps are the best, a bit pricey but worth it if you ask me
Thanks, I've watched 10 or 15 handwrap videos. Yours is the one that made most sense to me. So I subscribed. You are very good at explaining with reasons and detail.
Thanks Kirk
Make a video on how to deal with an aggressive boxer during fights/spar session.
Yes please!
Yes again please
I hate gay
I would like this as well. Although, a good way is to move side to side while having your guard up. Also, my coach told me to jab jab jab, get your jabs in so he won't keep advancing/being aggressive. Cheers
This method is so much better than any other method I've seen or tried. Thanks so much.
Slow the video to 0.5x speed
I’m super novice to boxing and the skill of hand wrapping. Because I’ve wrapped my hands before, I have to say this is most likely the way I’ll go. Seeing that technique, I’m sold! Thanks
I wrap my hands exactly the same way to keep my palm clear for MMA gloves

@@kevinell6605 Best way to be
@@TheWillToFight hah I didn't even realise I was answering to your comment mate ...apologies, it was meant to be to the video in question !!
@@kevinell6605 no worries lol
I’ve been looking for a way to wrap my hands that protects my knuckles without having to use the sliced sponge trick; this is dope! Thank you!
How has it been working
I can not see the direction you wrapped the thumb. I've watched the video 20 times and still can't get it. Please help
Can't wait to try this. Just sent it to my daughter. She plays the trumpet and there's always the concern that she'll hurt her hands hitting the bag. This looks like it will reduce the risk. Thank you.
Do a video on conditioning your shoulders, please. Or stamina or both haha
I need this too! Good suggestions.
I love how you make a pad out of yhe wrap itself instead of using aftermarket pad inserts. This just saved me money. I also use open palm style wrapping, but I hadn't thought about making a pad out of the wraps themselves. Genius.
Next video should be testing your hypothesis and putting your right hand thru a brick wall. 😂
Awesome hand wrapping video.
No exaggeration. I’ve been wanting to get trained by this man for years. Life just had other plans. He truly is a great boxer. If you know a bit or two about boxing.
Am I the only one struggle with this video because of all the cuts and horrible angles??
Same
Thank you so much, I'm a beginner and this is the best hand wrap video I've come across Not gonna wrap my hands any other way after this.🙏🏽
So confusing trying to wrap my fists like this 😕
Can you do a video how to hold pads. I think most of my injuries on my wrists are from holding pads
Interesting and good comment
@@c.galindo9639 wist and elbows hhh
@@greengreensio what a weirdo. Was he practicing Muay Thai?
@@c.galindo9639 i notice every time i hold bads at boxing class. I always feel pain on my wrist and albows. Im not sure if im holding it probably or my wrist and elbows are just weak
@@greengreensio try lifting weights to strengthen them
I’m smiling ear to ear. This method is the s***. Tony you are awesome bro. I’m surprised nobody else teaches handwrapping this way
It’s. Little confusing. Does anyone have a video explaining it better maybe from a POV camera angle
I agree. This is the best way to wrap my own hands. Adding the tape is a game changer. Thanks Tony!
"I would argue with anyone"... well, thanks but no thanks, don't really feel like arguing with this guy
This is the best hand wrap that i watched especially in creating a padding to protect knuckles...
This worked great for hitting the heavy bag with my lighter 14 oz. gloves. Thanks Tony!
I just a wanna say thank you loads man. Seriously years ago I tried to wrap my hands alone and couldn’t do it. And today at 5 in the morning is the first time I’ve ever done it and it feels great.
Respect sir for providing such high quality boxing education free of cost!
Just tried this today at the gym with my heavy bag workout. Absolutely love it!!!

Tony just wanted to say thank you for all you do. You are knowledgeable, insightful, and entertaining! Love your videos!
I'm so grateful for every single video of yours. I always wondered how to wrap my hand without losing the ability to close it naturally. You're the best!
You are welcome Lukas and Happy to help!
Hi Tony, great channel! I'm a 50 year old beginner and I love it, best workout ever. Thank you
Tony! 1st time I’ve wrapped my hands, feels great so thank you a bunch!
used to get a lot of knuckle soreness and pain in my left hand after 10-15 min of good work on the bag when I used to wrap my hand with other traditional ways.
