Ky can continue to combo with the DP if hit over Shocked State even at mid screen it seems, before that was possible only in some situations on the corner.
I think for baiken the parry will now be doable while blocking but it will guard break if done during blocking and the normal groundslam will remain as is but thats just my theory

Probably a Kara. Like his forward kick Kara into grab. Now he probably has an armored move he can Kara grab into. (EDIT : to clarify. Potemking Kara cancel isn't some magical bullshit. It's tied to a move. His 6k moves him forward frame one. Even better he can keep the momentum. So canceling a normal move frame one into a special let him keep all that and do a Kara buster that slide forward. What I'm saying is that they gave frame one armor on another normal move of potemkin. Meaning he could Kara cancel into buster from this different move than 6k. And get frame one armor for a few frames. Making pot Chara cancels into a choice and not just a skill check. As Kara canceling is always better. Now obviously he already has many armored specials. But armored mega fist seems cool.)

@@57tigey I havent played strive in a while so i cant say how the situation is now, but im guessing its not that different from multiple months ago. He wasnt bad, pretty viable even. But not top tier like slayer or nago for example. I would say hes a good character for the average player, but obviously not a pro player pick for evo or something. i was able to reach the celestial challenge with him multiple times (not celestial directly).

@@marcusjones6098 Once your cards are restocked, you can quickly and automatically discard and redraw a card in any slot. Basically it mauls your deck until you get the cards you want. Now it seems you can change test cases during the super to maul in any of his three decks you want.

I think Mirazh into grab was faster, so either you can cancel it or they reduced the recovery by a lot. Maybe, I'm not gonna pretend to be confident in this
For bedman? the exploding head flies further than before. Also he wasn't able to 2S after using his install super. So I guess the recovery of the super was reduced.
Glad I'm not the only one. Maybe that backdash before j.K was shorter and maybe her tension meter was building faster. I'm guessing it must be a frame data thing or something to do with tension or damage if it isn't obvious. While I don't pay much attention to him 'cause I think it's a bit at this point, Millia guy mentioned some changes that I thought were cool, one of which I had already thought of which was making Artemis air-ok. They also said giving fastfall another directional option. Addendum: After reading comments @horizunu caught the same thing I thought I did which was Millia's airdash before jK was incredibly short. If that's the case, it means gapless air blockstrings and combos. No more get 5p'd out of jH > dash > jH. If that's true, Millia's pressure is about to get disgusting.

The install doesnt seem to have changed. the combo in the video is possible in the current patch altough it needs the corner to connect the last hits. (the slayer hits the corner JUST in time for the combo to work)

I like this thing fighting games has been doing where they start out really simple and then add more sick mechanics as time goes on. It's usually after some dlcs and constant sells too so you get a much cooler version of a game for cheaper instead of playing the simpler one.
Also tbh it's easier to balance a simple game around adding new mechanics that you know will fit with the existing gameplay rather than just adding crazy bs from the start and realizing that you made an unbalanced mess that you then have to somehow fix

There's a glitch in training mode where the hp bar can't go higher than the assigned value even if you set it to normal (the setting which makes it not regenerate after combos), that's what causes that weird flicker

ARCADE MODE ENDINGS ARTS and its tab in the Gallery so we can see which characters we finished this mode as. Maybe even 1 art for regular boss and 1 for secret one. 2. PLEASE, M.O.M. mode or equivalent. Single player content is sparse! 3. Actual COMBO CHALLENGE mode (per character) with achievements and in-game money prices for completion. 4. LOCAL SCORE RANKINGS (better if with initials) for single player modes! 5. Please separate AVATAR ITEMS to its own button in the fishing mode. It's terrible to earn money for certain things and get avatar stuff instead (that most of us don't even use...) 6. Rebalance money earning for single player modes. Make it at least 20,000 for first time Arcade, 10,000 subsequent; 200 per enemy defeated in Survival and double it after every 10 enemies beaten, and so... (Some of us want to unlock stuff, get in-game money, without going online all the time). 7. I know these are looooong shots, but: INSTAKILLS (I know they're not good for multiplayer, but they were AWESOME and a trademark of the franchise). 8. Alternate costumes based on classic attire for certain characters! Especially Dizzy. 9. Instrumental only option for music.

I think for baiken the parry will now be doable while blocking but it will guard break if done during blocking and the normal groundslam will remain as is but thats just my theory

(EDIT : to clarify. Potemking Kara cancel isn't some magical bullshit. It's tied to a move. His 6k moves him forward frame one. Even better he can keep the momentum. So canceling a normal move frame one into a special let him keep all that and do a Kara buster that slide forward.
What I'm saying is that they gave frame one armor on another normal move of potemkin. Meaning he could Kara cancel into buster from this different move than 6k. And get frame one armor for a few frames.
Making pot Chara cancels into a choice and not just a skill check. As Kara canceling is always better.

They added anti-projectile properties to my boy Johnny's Mist Finers. If they kept the dash the same speed Johnny will be untouchable.
We can actually zone now without fear that they shoot back
they either made it broken or made mist finer a (high-priority) projectile, which means the pot-johnny matchup will be a loooooot better for pot
It didn't show any interactions with multi-hit projectiles like ky CSE, goldlewis drone or nago clone

For bedman? the exploding head flies further than before. Also he wasn't able to 2S after using his install super. So I guess the recovery of the super was reduced.

Glad I'm not the only one. Maybe that backdash before j.K was shorter and maybe her tension meter was building faster. I'm guessing it must be a frame data thing or something to do with tension or damage if it isn't obvious.
While I don't pay much attention to him 'cause I think it's a bit at this point, Millia guy mentioned some changes that I thought were cool, one of which I had already thought of which was making Artemis air-ok. They also said giving fastfall another directional option.
Addendum: After reading comments @horizunu caught the same thing I thought I did which was Millia's airdash before jK was incredibly short. If that's the case, it means gapless air blockstrings and combos. No more get 5p'd out of jH > dash > jH. If that's true, Millia's pressure is about to get disgusting.

The install doesnt seem to have changed. the combo in the video is possible in the current patch altough it needs the corner to connect the last hits. (the slayer hits the corner JUST in time for the combo to work)
There was like one very hard and perfect window you needed to do to combo it and im happy it can be combo'd into normally now

I like this thing fighting games has been doing where they start out really simple and then add more sick mechanics as time goes on. It's usually after some dlcs and constant sells too so you get a much cooler version of a game for cheaper instead of playing the simpler one.
Also tbh it's easier to balance a simple game around adding new mechanics that you know will fit with the existing gameplay rather than just adding crazy bs from the start and realizing that you made an unbalanced mess that you then have to somehow fix

Pay attention to The Damage they are doing, I think they also need their Damage
There's a glitch in training mode where the hp bar can't go higher than the assigned value even if you set it to normal (the setting which makes it not regenerate after combos), that's what causes that weird flicker

PLEASE, for future update:
1. ARCADE MODE ENDINGS ARTS and its tab in the Gallery so we can see which characters we finished this mode as. Maybe even 1 art for regular boss and 1 for secret one.
2. PLEASE, M.O.M. mode or equivalent. Single player content is sparse!
3. Actual COMBO CHALLENGE mode (per character) with achievements and in-game money prices for completion.
4. LOCAL SCORE RANKINGS (better if with initials) for single player modes!
5. Please separate AVATAR ITEMS to its own button in the fishing mode. It's terrible to earn money for certain things and get avatar stuff instead (that most of us don't even use...)
6. Rebalance money earning for single player modes. Make it at least 20,000 for first time Arcade, 10,000 subsequent; 200 per enemy defeated in Survival and double it after every 10 enemies beaten, and so... (Some of us want to unlock stuff, get in-game money, without going online all the time).
7. I know these are looooong shots, but: INSTAKILLS (I know they're not good for multiplayer, but they were AWESOME and a trademark of the franchise).
8. Alternate costumes based on classic attire for certain characters! Especially Dizzy.
9. Instrumental only option for music.
