I didn't even know these existed. Thank you for the review.
I have these. Used about 20 times so far. I love them.
Nice
@@csquaredboxingwith the thumb bein open can't thst cause injury isn't your thumb suppsed to be wrapped or covered Carlos?
@@knowthyself1981thumb support is a preference thing i use no wraps 95% of the time and have never hurt my thumb
Thank you for these videos, they are helpful...would you say these provide better protection than regular boxing hand wraps? and how these compare to Hayabusa Boxing Knuckle Guards?
Love these wraps
🥊👍🏼
Hey Carlo, can you do a review of Kimura Sports Knuckle Guard if you’re able to get them? Great vid man 🥊
Carlo....ok I'm new to boxing. I bought the Rival Rb7. They sorta force my fist "down/bent" even with the velcro tight. is that how all gloves are? I need to keep my hand/wrist/arm "straight ". Is it the gloves? I tried a couple pair, the Everlast reallllllly made my wrist bend down. What do I do....I see serious wrist injury happening unless I can keep my arm, from knuckles to elbow perfectly straight. Any advice?
Hey Carlo, could you do a review on katana combat boxing gloves? Would like to hear your thoughts on them!! Great vid as always!!!
I’ll try
What I do sometimes is I'll put those on, and then I'll use a normal 180" mexican wrap over it, wrapping it normally. That actually gives really good support.
I was thinking using that wrap that's attached but instead of only going over the wrist. Do like 2-3 wraps around the wrist, hit the thumb then once around the palm, then go over it with tape. Slim but rigid
@@youngfeezy7969 That’s a good idea too. Taping it up would work great as well. I just try to not use so much of my tape but if I had a huge supply, I’d tape it up too.
@@funkrates4778 yea that 1" boxing tape is expensive. But I been going to the dollar tree and getting the 2" athletic tape. It's $1.25 a roll. FYI
@@youngfeezy7969 sweet! I’ll have to visit my local dollar store and see if they have some. I’ve been ordering some off Amazon (1.5”) at a modest price. Very easy to tear. It’s “Summum Fit Athletic Tape.”
Thanks for letting me know.
@@funkrates4778 nice thanks brotha 🙏
Do you prefer these or the bandax quick wraps
How snug would they feel with hyabusa s4 gloves on?
How are they for putting under muay thai gloves to hit a bag
Love that wrap but agree with taping with the thin KT tape for the meta bonez. Still love the traditional wraps but their a pain to maintain so I got 3 of the Hayabusas
👍🏼🥊
I have 3 pair. Black ,red, and grey. I wash them on delicate and dry them outside.
I feel they’re great quality. There’s a bundle deal with 2 pair and little wash bag for them.
$35 with free ship.
They do great for myself. But I’m doing Krav but the coach is an ex pro boxer. So we do a lot of striking.
who your coach?
why dont you wrap is over your thumb too for extra suppport?
Just bought these today? Thanks for the info 👍
No prob
Used these for quite a few months earlier this year. Found the padding would slide back on my hand so that I wouldn’t actually get knuckle protection. Have moved to using normal wraps with knuckle protectors instead. Still dealing with some nasty pain from using these. Good for boxfit probably.
👍🏼🥊
Must’ve got the wrong size dumb dumb
I found the same issue with the pad sliding back during my workouts, leaving my knuckles unprotected.
This is the problem with 95% of fast wraps. The padded areas slide back up the hands once the hand is placed into the glove. Also the stitching around the fingers tends to hurt over time.
Can you spar with these?
Feel the thumb needs more protection.
I intentionally stretched the finger holes which I feel like are the main downside of these. They’ve been fine ever since
Nice!
Is it true the usual hand wrap is better than the quick gel hand wrap?? Because my coach told me better using the usual hand wrap
Yes because of the protection for the small bones
All quick wraps have crap protection and aren't much quicker than propper ones.
Where can i place a ordere from
How do you clean the quick gel wraps?
Lysol or any disinfecting spray is what i use for gel gloves and boxing gloves. Hand wraps i usually wash but with a bra mesh bag so it wont ruin my washer/dyer
the stitching quality looks sub par
Could be better for sure
Does this provide a good wrist protection
Decent
Wich one is better this one or 1-2 hand wrap?
1-2
@@csquaredboxing thanks
Are these better than the winning ones?
I have both. These are definitely more durable. The Winnings quickwraps have a silky texture that can tear as you pull your hands in and out of gloves.
@@SteelSaint749 good look!
Would you use these for sparring?
Yes
Would you use these over the 1-2 quick wraps
I pretty much hate these. Regular wraps support the small bones of the hands better. I only use these if I don't need wraps and need a space filler to take up some room... But the damn dyes bleed so much when you wash them. Honestly, Rival 210" mexican wraps and some silipos gel pads are freakin' game-changers.
