    Carlo....ok I'm new to boxing. I bought the Rival Rb7. They sorta force my fist "down/bent" even with the velcro tight. is that how all gloves are? I need to keep my hand/wrist/arm "straight ". Is it the gloves? I tried a couple pair, the Everlast reallllllly made my wrist bend down. What do I do....I see serious wrist injury happening unless I can keep my arm, from knuckles to elbow perfectly straight. Any advice?

    What I do sometimes is I'll put those on, and then I'll use a normal 180" mexican wrap over it, wrapping it normally. That actually gives really good support.

    • @youngfeezy7969
      @youngfeezy7969 Год назад

      I was thinking using that wrap that's attached but instead of only going over the wrist. Do like 2-3 wraps around the wrist, hit the thumb then once around the palm, then go over it with tape. Slim but rigid

    • @funkrates4778
      @funkrates4778 Год назад

      @@youngfeezy7969 That’s a good idea too. Taping it up would work great as well. I just try to not use so much of my tape but if I had a huge supply, I’d tape it up too.

    I have 3 pair. Black ,red,and grey. I wash them on delicate and dry them outside.
    I feel they’re great quality. There’s a bundle deal with 2 pair and little wash bag for them.
    $35 with free ship.
    They do great for myself. But I’m doing Krav but the coach is an ex pro boxer. So we do a lot of striking.

    Used these for quite a few months earlier this year. Found the padding would slide back on my hand so that I wouldn’t actually get knuckle protection. Have moved to using normal wraps with knuckle protectors instead. Still dealing with some nasty pain from using these. Good for boxfit probably.

      I found the same issue with the pad sliding back during my workouts, leaving my knuckles unprotected.

    • @battlevain
      @battlevain 7 месяцев назад +2

      This is the problem with 95% of fast wraps. The padded areas slide back up the hands once the hand is placed into the glove. Also the stitching around the fingers tends to hurt over time.

    • @SteelSaint749

  • @carpecursus

    I pretty much hate these. Regular wraps support the small bones of the hands better. I only use these if I don't need wraps and need a space filler to take up some room... But the damn dyes bleed so much when you wash them. Honestly, Rival 210" mexican wraps and some silipos gel pads are freakin' game-changers.
