What about glove weight? Does that matter? I always used 16's for the heavy bag but i remember this dude that used to kick all our asses sold me on 20oz's, said "the added weight would make u faster/stronger" I dont know about that but definitely a lot more padding
If you are gonna hit the bag or mitts it doesn't matter much, you can get any weight you want. If you are gonna spar then get 14-16oz maybe 18oz. Added weight does help with conditioning but that's an extra you don't need.

You will pop the stitching Dry them by hanging them on the sun and fresh air. Don't let them burn. If you do forget and leave them out too long, use Armor All on the outer material. Last tip, as soon as you're done training, use Defense cleansing wipes on every part that got sweaty. Don't be economical. They are the best wipes on the market, and they are pretty affordable.
pro tip - take a huge whiff and sniff the shit out of the inside of your gloves, preferrably a pair that has been festering in your gym bag for years. It will give you significant energy boost for your fights

How to remove sweat smell from gloves
I guess hang them in front of the sun? You could also use those anti smell sprays ppl use for shoes
Clean them with a spray each time. If they already smell it’s never leaving unless you super clean them
Grow balls. Gain perspective. Get over it. Repeat steps 1 and 2 till 3 is attained.
Baking soda pour in each glove leave it to sit overnight in morning shake the rest out and spray some fragrance that works for real

Oh yeah it 100% is very beneficial for trainingand it does make you faster and stronger especially when you go back to using normal gloves.

Nah bruh you need at least 12oz for the bag. Use 16oz for sparring personally I use 14 with more experienced dudes
