- Track saws are super handy, but not if you can’t square up the track properly. Enter the TSO Products @tsoproducts6838 GRS 16 PE, a device designed to turn your track saw guide into a giant square that stays dead true and never needs calibration. And the best news - they’ve finally released a square compatible with DeWalt tracks!

Another great product explained without sponsorship. Thank you Lee 🎉
This was a lot of fun to make with the wife 😁
Need more tracksaws.
Lol 😂 DO YOU THOUGH? 🤔
You (and your wife) are Hilarious, and so Helpful!!! Thank you for this man! I have wanted one of these since I watched Witt's video the other day!
Witt who?! Oh... THAT guy lol
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks haha keep it up man, I love watching, your efforts are seen and appreciated my good man!
It was a pleasure to watch an expert at work and the track saw guide was nice.
It’s always nice to work with an expert. I’m glad she let me be in the video! 🙏
Another brilliant video, Lee. So clever, so funny. They keep getting better. I really REALLY enjoyed Mrs. Busted Knuckles Woodworking ("... And remember to listen to me.") I laughed many times throughout. I loved the "unboxing" segment (so tongue in cheek) and the whole General Tso's Chicken bit too. Keep 'em coming, man, you're killing it!
Haha thanks from both of us! I love featuring Tami in these videos, she is such a great sport 💕
You said almost everything I wanted to say about this awesome and hilarious video. I also laughed at the spoiler alert about the Kreg rip cut. Good stuff in this video!
@@justinhoffmannsr.7566 thanks so much my man, appreciate your... umm... appreciation LOL
I’m going to grab one of those General TSOs squares, that works awesome! Love your videos Lee, keep them coming.😅
@@fredparsons5134 I need an affiliate link for the chicken
HA!! Drew is seriously one of the nicest guys on RUclips though. Loved this video.
He’s a big sweetie and I love him 😍
You both need to stop. ❤
Nah, we're gonna start a club.
Great content and video! I use my tso square all the time!
Yep! I personally wouldn’t run a track saw without it, but as I mention, it’s kinda pricey for the casual user
OK, You got me. I am a subscriber now.
BWAHAHA... 😈 EVERYBODY will succumb eventually
brilliantly hilarious. thank you for the unexpected laugh. glad I came across this video!
Aw thanks, really appreciate the watch. 🙂
Love Drew @wittworks. Great video.
Meh he’s okay I guess 😂 j/k

Yes we do love seeing your lovely wife. Her t shirt had me rolling. What you should do is blow Wittwork's mind and buy yourself a Mafel tracksaw. You never hear of those things because while the Festool is like the Rolls Royce of track saws, The Mafel is the Lamborghini of track saws. One of those tools that most of us just drool over. Great video as always. Oh BTW I just ordered my TSO guide today for my Makita. I can't wait to try it out.
Nothing ever impresses Drew. Just “too cool for the room,” know what I mean?
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks That's pretty funny. Love both your channels. Not just because of the excellent content, but you are both pretty funny. Although his sense of humor does run a bit on the dry side. Keep up the great content... and continue to have your lovely wife make her guest appearances. She is like the Vanna White of woodworking!
@@gregghernandez2714Drew is actually a good friend. Thanks for the compliments, my wife loves getting them! 💕
Lee! She is a gem! You are a lucky man!
Yes she’s quite a catch 😁
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks 😁😁😁
I bought this about a month ago. Works great.
Definitely does! I use it every time I take out my saw
Another good video about something I have been thinking of buying.
I have the "evil green" track saw with it's over priced MDF table.
I also have that useless kreg gizmo you showed.. only because it doesn't fit easily in a trash bag.
😂 that’s hilarious, “doesn’t easily fit in a trash bag” lol. Comment of the Week 🏆
Thank you for the video. I was looking at the Parallel Guide System for my DW tracksaw, but did not see one indicated specifically to fit the GRS-16 PE D. Can you share any experience with this. The system should make breaking down repeated cabinet parts from full sheets very easy to do. If this combo exists, would love to see a video of it being set up and used.
TSO has a short video of it being used. The one thing you should be aware of is that the regular parallel guide system attaches to the track for most saws, and of course there is no lip on the DeWalt track to attach to. For the DeWalt it attaches to the square itself, so for the full system you need TWO squares. Give them a call, they are a small business and quick to respond and very knowledgeable.
Apparently you need TWO of these guides if you want to use their parallel system. Be advised.
@@VietTran-xl2ms I did find that out later… if you’re using the DeWalt track. You can use the DeWalt track saw on a Makita or Festool track though, so in that case you’d only need one.
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks I went and ordered a second unit since there is no point in spending the same amount or more on different brand tracks and they won't be double sided usable in the end and they will take up more space.
@@VietTran-xl2ms good choice 👍
I think you missed your calling,,, in doing crazy..ish Batman, Campy TV and Movies!
And then your wife entered,, you definitely need a Pink Wig! Or Green,,,,,
You guys are a hoot,!
It's hard to get her to participate because she tries to ruin every take, but as you can see, I just work it in anyway 😂
I'm giving you a sub & a like because I want to support small channels... but... I really hope you don't end up being just another "tool-review channel" or a "hints & tips channel"....
I'd really love to see actual project builds, cabinetry and stuff... not necessarily mega-projects either, I know wood is spendy.. even smaller projects like a jewellery box ..... or a dolls house, man I can't remember ANYONE building one of them... 🙄
My favourite "style" of channel is Jon Peters...
It just seems there are so many woodworking channels now but actual woodworking seems to be happening less for some reason...
Good luck with the channel ! 🤗
From the Emerald Isle
😎👍☘🍺
I’ve made quite a few jewelry boxes but stupidly I didn’t film the process 🤦🏻♂️. I do have a good sized build video planned for the early fall, so be looking for that one!
I’ve also built a dollhouse way back when and let me tell you they are HARD to do!
I like Jon’s channel too and he does his fair share of tool reviews but not too many. I am trying to get away from doing them myself. I don’t have anymore planned for this year but who knows, something may come up?
Thanks for the sub, I truly appreciate it 🙏
is there a square that acts like a miter gauge for long cuts? my home is horizontally and vertically challenged, it is 170 years old, and I would like to see something like this for cutting long angles where accuracy is paramount.....
Yes for sure there is. I briefly mentioned it in the video. Check out TSO’s website and look for the Parallel Guide system.
Actually Woodpeckers makes a track saw guide that is adjustable to various degrees, just like a miter saw. Be prepared for sticker shock though, it is incredibly expensive but built like a tank. I just can't justify ever buying something like that. For you, the situation may be different.
I have one, but I kinda, just don't like it. Everyone else does. It's just me I think.
Just like everyone loved Ray in the late 90s. Except me. He irritated me too.
Their parallel guide though... Those are pretty useful.
Which track do you have it for?
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks I have a Festool 5' and a Makita 9'.
On my bench I use a smaller Festool track with a longer home made fence and some dogs that are 90 deg with the fence. I can reliably cut up to 4' cross cuts. But most often I'm in the 10" - 20" range. It's just faster over all.
@@OneWhoWas sounds like a great setup
this is so f..ed up, i love it. very funny!
F..ed up was exactly the vibe I was going for here 😝
Nothing is "ridiculous," if you can afford it. However, I suspect Wittless isn't paying for all of his track saws (which, in my book, is the least ridiculous way to go.) That Woodpecker is an expensive toy also.
Drew told me he bought them. Since he makes accessories for these I assume that’s the actual reason he needed them, and since he already had them for that reason, making the videos was a no-brainer 🧠
I have paid full price for every single one and have refused several free Festool models and bought them instead.
I'll probably never be in the market for a TSO anything, because I'm overly compensating with my ridiculously expensive sliding table saw, so I'll just say...... BLOODY F@CKING BRILLIANT VIDEO😂😂😂
Buy me a sliding table saw, I’ll review the sh*t outta that thing lol
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks I'll put a stamp on it and mail it to ya
your a nutter and I love it. you also seem to be knowledgable and kind-hearted and I love that even more! ps, I feel the same about drew......
I lasted about 2 minutes before the douchy overacting my feel like watching the whole video 😂
Haha 😂 it ain’t easy being cheesy! Thanks for the watch!
Rob, go to the Community tab on my RUclips page and read the last post, then you’ll be in on the joke too 😂
For a minute there I thought I had clicked on a liberal political site where a democrat would make a comment about the republicans and then add "this makes me so sad". Sorry I couldn't help throwing that in. Now back to the regularly scheduled tracksaw show.
That Drew is such a liberal 😢
The TSO track saw guide square is an overly expensive one trick pony. There are plenty of other tools that would be more useful which many I already own then to square up the track to with this over engineered high priced gadget pushed by paid influencers to me the home woodworking enthusiast who can’t write off the expense on my taxes. 🤔 Enjoy it if you already have it.
As I point out in the video, nobody is paying me squat. And as for being an “influencer”, I can’t even influence my dog to fetch a tennis ball, so… 🤷🏻♂️
But I will agree, I would have to using it fairly frequently to justify the expense
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks I truly enjoy your perspective and your personality on this channel a great deal and find you highly enjoyable to watch. I could easily purchase this thing but have also seen it’s lower cost alternatives that copy the design and still I have no desire. I have always used my framing square and a pair of stair gauges I had already owned to set my track square to the edge of my material. This tool just seems like a duplication that is just another thing to store while not in use. Keep up the great content Lee.
@@heystarfish100 thanks 🙏 my friend, appreciate your perspective
way to much hassle to fit
sorry
Really? I thought these were easy compared to some others I’ve seen.
yh . removing it every time it needs to slide in to the van as my tracks stay in hand build holes .
alan key dropped out .. need to tape it in
they need to come up with a quick clamp solution to be honest
@@doctorlove2022 their other squares come with quick clamps, I don’t think something like that would work on the DeWalt track though. I like the DeWalt track but it’s a pain for accessories.
I total agree maybe I should of done a bit more research befor buying...
👍
