It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I had the complete donor car, so I was able to strip every bit of the engine harness from the car. The VW ECU just needed power to a few wires to get things running. I haven't tackled cruise yet. On the Jeep side I just stripped all of the engine wiring from the harness. It just has one chassis control module that does everything. The Jeep CEL is always on because it doesn't know the engine is gone. I'll have more videos coming when I have time.
ok would love to see more, going to order a new turbo oil lines and adapter for the 4.0 and then will be working on my build, love the progress keep up the work
How did you set up your wiring? going to be swapping one in my jeep 2000 grand Cherokee with the 4.0
