ur a very clever man Austin, wish i had 5% of your knowledge
I really enjoy this build, the mounts turned out great!! I am looking forward to seeing the engine bay when you get it painted.
Brilliant content. Logic dictates that the vibration issue should be resolved by the introduction of the hydraulic mounts. Bravo🖖🏾🇿🇦
Really sweet mounts, can’t wait for more content!
Are you going to show all the motor rebuild? If so I'm excited for it
Andrew Green of course!!! 👍👍
Nice work Austin, thanks for bringing us along.
Great job. She’s coming along real nice like.
I don't know what works, but what you fabbed up sure seems very HD. I think your work is looking very good. I'm enjoying watching you build your Toyota.
Good job, like usually. Impatient to see the end!
Can’t wait for the rebuild!!!😃 Motor Mounts look pretty nice too!👍
Austin, all your videos rock and I look forward to them all! Your a real professional and the level of talent you have is AWESOME! I used to go to MUD HOPS and enter just to have fun. The first time I entered I won wood and 125 dollars. Back then people would stuff big block Engines with Automatic transmissions in Toyota's. They placed the Radiator in the bed and ran coolant with exhaust tubing to and fro. I won by 2ft. When I lost it was by 8 and 10ft. The 22r was great at taking abuse.
Great job, enjoy the journey.
good to know those stock toyota mounts dont handle the vibrations very well... im putting a 1.6IDI in my truck, and was thinking of how i was going to even mount the engine... after seeing your engine-side mounts, i now have a pretty good idea! still a long way from done, but im making progress every day. cheers Austin!
Love the videos boss keep up the great work!!
Nice work mate!
Nice job as always.
Looks great man
Looks minty bud good thinkin on the hydraulic motor mounts
Wow man come out great God bless you talent, don’t know what plans you have for the engine bay but please paint it with the oem color
The mounts are a great idea , should do the job.
Hey my guy your build is turning out great. Have you ever thought of selling those motor mount when you were making this video?
Just keeps getting better and better , whats could possibly be next ?
Make a removable rad support, makes life that much easier😄
Awesome job! You are a true craftsmen. I really enjoy watching this build. Please contact me if your ever planning on selling. I know that won't happen, but I figured I would put it out there anyway.
Wish you put the dimensions of those plates in the description
Crafty bud
If it's anything like my nissan that inner part of the frame rail might be really thin gauge steel.. I'd check that before sending it
👍👍
Where did you get those first motor mounts the one you cut up?
If you were in the same city as me I’d give you my V10 twin turbo touareg engine 🤩 would love to see that thing rip in a yota
Hey Austin as vw mechanic that little diesel engine probably won't last. Good for a small car, but not for the Toyota truck. Nice build tho.
you're under estimating these 1.9 tdi they can take abuse and have plenty of torque. my tdi alh has 240hp and just at 500ft torque
These things are bulletproof when done right and actually maintained. The car i got the motor from was beat
Love the build man. What exactly are those mounds for? Looking to purchase some for my 83 pickup tdi swap.
They are from a chevy trailblazer
