Very cool project. I had a TDI Jetta that I now regret selling. I have a 91 yj that would make an awesome diesel. Keep up the awesome videos. Maybe one day I'll attempt the swap. Thanks for sharing

Of course, and in many ways a YJ would be an easier swap. I picked up the 2004 Beetle donor for $1000 running, just keep an eye on marketplace and Craigslist and deals do pop up from time to time.

How do you like the motor mounts? I’ve seen other people use a similar mount but I’m not sure if they are the same.. what part number they are or for what car they are made?

any specific reason why you went with the 10 degree tilt vs 0 degree (vertical)? I also have a RHD I'm thinking of doing this to.

So for me there was a couple of reasons, I needed the extra clearance to the pumpkin on my front axle because I moved the engine forward in my engine bay when I was running the Kubota 6". I also did it because I wanted to run AC but I'm now thinking I should have put the AC pump on the other side, I'll be talking about that in an upcoming video.
