Haven't seen that smile in a while. It will be interesting to see the front end assembled for clearances

Really enjoy seeing this come together. Makes me want to start my own tdi jeep build idea.

I'm itching to have it running again, I really enjoyed it with the Kubota engine though if I'm honest it did have a shake/rattle at idle that I'm looking forward to not having with the TDI engine. Also being able to go over 50mph will be nice as well! Though to be fair the custom torque converter would have solved that issue with the Kubota engine.

I love it. It looks awesome. Can't wait to see you wire/fire it up.

Nice. I have a 2009 JKU RHD I'm doing a similar build. What adapter are you using? I've got an 03 ALH TDI. Using an adapter to a GM trans. I was really interesed to see you had a RHD for clearance on the turbo side but it looks like it worked out ok for you. Keep them coming

I got my adapter made from KubotaSwappers, though he really needs to change his name since he makes adapter for Cummins and TDIs as well. That's awesome you are doing a RHD JKU, At some point I'll end up with a 4-door JKU, I just haven't found the right one yet!
Yeah the steering made for some interesting problem solving for clearance, going to the Passat TDI Turbo setup just gave me the clearance I needed. There was also a turbo setup I could have ordered from the UK that would have worked as well were the turbo is mounted up high for truck swaps also.
