👍 Nice. A lot don't seem to really like shooting 6.35m but I find it fun to see what they can do &helps keep your release in check. An 18-12 taper,or even a 20-12 with 4m Simpleshot latex sends em downrange with a relatively light pull&velocity, shooting semi long draw.
Im so lucky, ive got the best group of friends. Last year my one buddy got me a beautiful ott flatband slingshot with the quicky screw clips and i love it. Ive made my own grip, if slightly changed the shape to fit my hand better and painted to. Then for Xmas my other buddy got me a big bag of GZK GREEN bandsets tied onto pouches ready to rock! And another pal got me a variety assortment mix bag of loaded bandsets all different thicknesses tapers and pouches.. Along with a assortment kit of all different sized ball bearings.. im straight up deadly with 5.56mm steel balls sink all the way flat into plywood, would love to get a chronograph
We have a lot of state land in public land. I was thinking about getting 18 to 20 targets and seeing if I could get a group of guys here in Michigan and name it the Midwest slingshot shoot out and get that going. I really really want to see if I can do that for this area state of Michigan.
Nice! I have a little Chinese pocket slingshot that I love that would probably really shine with bands like that! Only been doing this about a month so I'm not making my own bands but I have fallen in love with Snipersling .5 yellow!
Along with news, maybe we could get you to do podcast and have some of us chitchat with you live on podcast just talk slingshots and slingshot world. That would be awesome. I could sit and talk slingshots all day and not get bored.
So less rubber resulted in higher speed. Very interesting . It's clearly a flatter acceleration-time curve. With more rubber, I can imagine a too large initial force resulting in the pouch not keeping up and therefore not pushing the ball hard enough the whole way. Also, less rubber means less inertia.

Great video! I had no idea that taper mattered.
There's so many little things you can do and tweak. That's one thing that makes slingshots so fun.

Thanks Alan
I would be intrested,in some slingshot news.
Draw FORCE is the correct name of it.
4.5 мм шариками для пневматического оружия тоже интересно стрелять.скорость измерять нечем,но 10 м расстояние пролетает почти мнгновенно))
That sounds interesting. Do you have any videos or links?

Этот стальной шарик, размер BB = 4.5мм как раз и называют коротко BB (би-би) в Америке.
