Bless your honesty pal. The slingshot world is a great place with some great people in it. It definitely helped me and im sure it could help many others in many different ways. Bless to all
That message was well received for me. I went through a tough spot in my life that also led me to drink every day. It was a traggic event that woke me up and set me straight, yet there was a void needing to be filled, and then i found these videos of more modern slingshots, and that filled the void and i havent looked back. 3+ yrs sober for me. Thanks for sharing. Stay awesome, brother! 👊
Dude this is the best hobby to counter addiction of any kind. It truly fills that void that addiction leaves. Im proud of you for quitting the drink. Fantastic vid we need more like it.
It takes strength to open up, I'm glad it worked out! Like any sport is good for the mind, but slingshot also allows for going out in nature, doing hikes exploring new areas. It brings peace of mind.
Their's slot of us who use our slingshots, to relieve stress and anxiety.. So dont be embarrassed, theirs alot of us in the same boat. Head high, and keep slingin.😊
Good on you Brother. I’ve seen too many people loose the battle. There is something to be said about slingmail, and the excitement of the next couple weeks with a new toy. Thank you for sharing, I’m sure it wasn’t easy. ✌️👊
Thanks for Sharing! Similar here :) I was sober for already 4 years when I re-discovered slingshots but many times since then I asked myself: why not earlier? It's not just the Shooting, it's so much more :) all the Best & keep it up ✌️😎
I fall under two categories, addictive personality and ADHD hyperfocus, both of which have contributed to my slingshot addiction. And for addictions, this isn't half bad. I have a feeling many of us fall into one of these categories. Thanks for sharing and keep at it brother!
One of the difficult points of catapulting is when you’ve had a great day shooting a real improvement on your previous days and you feel really good. I get really nervous about shooting the next day Case I’m not as good and then I feel really pissed off.
Awesome video brother. I never had an addictive personality until finding slings. It kinda is a problem when you think about it. I will obsess over my next sling convincing myself why I need this one and how it will help me get better… only to band it up shot a session or two and then on display it goes and I immediately start thinking about the next style I don’t have and need in my collection. Then I almost forget about that new sling I “had to have” and start focusing on the next one I NEED. Even though I have a favourite frame I always go back to and use well. There is an itch to always try another frame.

Really brave of u my friend to say that in public. Be proud of yourself for fighting life and be a winner. Thanks also to the sling community. :)
Good on you for kicking a bad habit. Helps that the solution is a bit of fun
Thank you for sharing your story brother! Awesome slingmail too btw!
Great video my story is very similar. The old saying of idle hands are the devil play is real. Thanks for sharing
Great video. Also, the beard is 10/10!!!
One year ago I quit drinking. And 21 years ago I quit smoking. So the money I was using for all that. I put a side to buy fishing and slingshot
It's amazing how much it adds up, isn't it?! And I lost about 50 lbs without even trying when I quit drinking beer.
I have lost friends because of destructive lifestyles. Sling shots are way cooler anyway. I’d rather be a slingshot junkie any day. ✌🏻
Keep up the good work buddy
