none of my business, but I was wondering if Ramone is your real name .yeah, it looks great(I think it was actually shot in color, maybe re-mastered too), but this is a poor rendition of the R&R classic. half -assed. love ZEPPELIN. saw them a couple times after this. at Boston Garden, the ol' barn. '71 September and again around '73. but nothing beats that 1st one .'Communication Breakdown' was one of their 4 encores. being a sports arena, a digital clock was at balcony level, just above them, and when Bonzo went into his 'Moby Dick' drum solo, we were able to time it. for the better part of 20 minutes, I swear, he gave his all. rock on, Riley.

Yes, Dude. For sure... Same opinion as mine also. But for me, Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) will always be 100 Times more important to the improvement of Hard Rock than Jimmy's work in his "Led Zeppelin".
Led Zeppelin, for me, today, is as silly as Guns'n'Roses shit and the fucking hell of gay poo now worldwide known as "Greta van Fleet"...

@@CarlDraper You mean showed him at all. Not a single close up. Even Bonham got some camera time here and drummers were more often than not left out of these things back in the day. Not a single shot of John Paul Jones. A shame.
God forbid they show Jones for even 1 second.
Too many bass players are "neglected" for sure, they really deserve more credit.

well you can colorize b/w footage but Jimmy's telecaster for example looks totally wrong. You can't retrieve information that wasn't there in the first place sadly
@@falafeldurum2095 While this is on some level "better" than the original black and white it is terrible still. A much better job can and could not only be done but they can do well enough of a job to where it doesn't even look colorized. This still has great potential. Yes, they need to get Jimmy's telecaster right (and I have no idea why they could not) but they also need to get Robert's hair as well, 😁.

This looks great! Only thing is Jimmy pages guitar is actually really colourful, it’s his ‘dragoncaster’. Everything looks amazing though

@@ge2623 I own both so I have no dog in this fight. I own a Les Paul Jr. which is awesome. Saying that, a lot of guitarists would play all sorts of guitars during recording including single coils, but Les Paul's with their Humbuckers are more suited for live music. Single Coils hum too much.

I mean seeing what JP can play when hes not high, its insane. He is a great guitarist no doubt, but that stuff definitely hindered him later on, becoming ever more sloppy. But this is insanely nice

They could have looked at a picture of Jimmy's Telecaster first. The parts not painted were lacquered wood grain. The colorists seem to have assumed it was light blue.

I took acid and watched the black and white version i swear after a while everything had color until i reminded myself i was watching a video and it all turned black and white lol

It's a few tenths of a second off, which is a shame. Easy to fix if you have any video editing experience, though.

"Breakdown" IS WAY BETTER than "I Can't Explain."
Probably the new kids on the block bias. Keith Richards didn't like them either although he admired Page and was a friend. The Who, Beatles, and Stones were the OG's. Zep wasn't until '68.
How odd to think that just a couple years later you were lucky if you could get within 10 feet of the stage at a Zeppelin concert, and these kids could have reached out and touched the freaking band if they just lifted their arms.

My mom and her girlfriend was in the audience during this presentation the first 100 people were admitted my mom was 16 she is now 85
She is 71 today if she was 16 in 1969.
