Jimmy page is one of the most captivating soloist the rock world has ever known. Daring, spontaneous, melodic, bluesy, diverse, flashy, breathtaking, and yes sloppy . That's the best part , the sloppiness , the ability to play with heart and feeling , the master at improvising . Who said that rock n roll had to be played perfect . Page may occasionally crash and burn, the next moment he's soaring to unprecedented heights. Yes, that's why he's my favorite guitar player of all time. Long live ZEPPELIN , GO PAGE 🎸

There can only be one word to describe Led Zeppelin; musicians. Everything works so perfectly, they are so well balanced. Even when Jimmy is playing his solo, it's impossible to block out and forget JPJ and Bonham. No one is overplaying or outplaying. it's like perfect harmony exists between them, you can individually hear each members talent.

Led Zeppelin performed their first public concert at all in Denmark as ‘The New Yeardbirds’ on 7 September 1968 in Gladsaxe Teen Club near Copenhagen - the group was only one week old, and they rehearsed (Yeardbird songs?) all afternoon. Before the concert the organizers were a bit disappointed that it was not the original Yeardbirds, but only Jimmy Page with a new band. After the concert they were not disappointed at all.
Next time Led Zeppelin came to Denmark, as you can see, they still had to introduce them selves, because the first LP was not out in Europe yet.
I remember seeing this on Danish Television back then. For years I thought the recording was lost. Fortunately it wasn't.

Oh Goddddd the Hair!!!!! It's almost got a life of its own. Plant 20??!!!!!! I've seen Zep 3 times in my life so yeah, I'm old, 62. Bonham on drums, just as it should be. Some of the best times of my life. Wish I could have paid more attention and gone to more shows but I was just a very young teen. I wasn't even supposed to go the other times when I did. My cousin who, thank God, prayed at the altar of Zeppelin and bought me my tickets cause I had no money back then, just 16 or fifteen I believe. Cousin had a job he was 18. Thanks Richie. Miss you too. Led Zeppelin forever in my heart. Best days of my life.

This song is underrated. It describes how many men are treated by women who want rings, pearls etc. but are not able to return the feelings the men offer for them. I am very happy for this performance because it presents the feelings of many men who are lost in their love and are treated harshly by their beloved women!; I am also experiencing such a phase in my life at this moment, but what can you do if you are lost in a women´s trap? It sometimes hurts to the extreme! Led Zeppelin is the only band which describes love-relations like they are. Thank you! This song gives me the spirit for another try to catch my "soul-mate´s" heart - I am not really sure if she is my soul-mate but I hope so! How many more times??? Yes, how many more times? Rielle, please surrender! It is only for your best fortune! I may look like a stubborn guy to you, but that is only the surface! Please go deeper!!!
This performance is like an early sign of how Led Zeppelin would rock the 70tees!!! Page, Plant, Jones and not least Bonham are genius from the beginning; like dynamit!!! Mr. Jones plays genuine bass-lines, That is the reason why no other band comes close.
