- More than 100,000 people have fled the Nagorno-Karabakh region, Armenia says.
It means that almost the entire population of the ethnic Armenian enclave has left since Azerbaijan seized the region last month.
Azerbaijan has said it wants to reintegrate the area and treat its residents as equals, but an Armenian spokesman said this was just a "lie".
Nagorno-Karabakh - recognised as part of Azerbaijan - had been run by ethnic Armenians for three decades.

But if you want to look at the number of massacres, Azeris killed tens of thousands of Armenian civilians across Azerbaijan in multiple cities and villages, in 1918-1920 colluding with the "Army of Islam" during the genocide, and in the 1980s-1990s. As an Arab, I am surprised you only have Khojaly to discuss, because if you treated Arabs as you treated the Armenians, there would have been a lot more atrocities. Don't play victims there. No one forced them to leave, it's their choice. And probably it's for better. They leave Azerbaijani grounds without no one hurt. But when they forced Azerbaijanis to leave their homes 30 years ago many Azeri people including children, women, elderly were killed brutally by Armenian military forces. Don't forget Khojaly massacre who's blood is in Armenians hands. Don't forget it happend in 26.02.1992.
Now Armenian can join to their fellow Armenian and live peacefully in their Armenia without causing problems to Azerbaijan that they did for last 30 years. Remember Karabakh is recognised Azerbaijani territory. No one should claim other country's territory. Otherwise war happens. And Armenian should stop claiming Azerbaijani territories for their own good.

My question is, why haven't they done it before. They knew they were causing problems living there. They have their own country with their own culture and people. They knew they weren't safe in Karabah. Now they're running in mass to where they're supposed to be anyway. It's not like they have a historic claim to the area. Their occupation only goes back 30 years.

It's better for them to go to their own country that has their own culture and people. That way, further conflicts can be avoided. That area has been recognized as Azerbaijan for decades. This is not true. The issue began in 1988 when Azerbaijan began to liquidate the Armenians in Sumkait and Baku, and then they began to liquidate the Armenians in the autonomous province of Karabakh. The Armenians were forced to defend themselves, and after four years of war they were able to liberate Karabakh and the areas around Karabakh for the sake of a security belt because Azerbaijan The capital, Stepanakert, was bombarded with missiles and artillery, and about 300,000 Azerbaijanis left their villages, while Azerbaijan killed and displaced about 400,000 Armenians from Baku, Sumgait, and Shahumyan.

The Bolsheviks invaded the entire region in 1920 and tore Armenia apart. They ceded Kars and Ardahan to Turkey in exchange for Batum and gave Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan. Armenia became the smallest republic in the USSR.
The Soviets pursued a policy of religious repression in Armenia, but also decimated the Armenian elite to combat nationalism (accusation of "Dashnakism").
After the Jews, the Armenians were the largest group to flee the USSR after WWII.

Tell the truth. In 1991-92 ethnic Armenians killed around 25,000 Azerbaijanis and expelled 800,000 Azeri from Nagarno-Karabakhp and the surrounding area. Few thousabds Armenians are living in Azerbizjan with equal rights but no Azeri could not able to live in Armenia.

If Armenians in Karabakh want to live in comfortable conditions, they should accept Azerbaijani citizenship. No one is forcing the Armenians who left Karabakh to do so. Armenian residents who do not accept Azerbaijan's conditions and citizenship leave Karabakh of their own accord

In parts of the city that the team visited, they saw no damage to civilian public infrastructure, including hospitals, schools and housing, or to cultural and religious structures. The mission saw that the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan was preparing for the resumption of health services and some utilities in the city.
