      @@MaggieAghamyan you clearly missed the point, there is no place called Artsakh, it's called Nagorno-Karabakh which is part of Azerbaijan and therefore VICE presents it as Azerbaijan. It also explains why most Armenians say that Stalin 'gave' Karabakh to Azerbaijan, while in the USSR documents it states clearly that Karabakh should remain Azerbaijani territory.

His father, our former President was also a diplomatic person and did a lot for the country and nation. We see it and we value it. We trust him, therefore we have elected him as President several times so far. We had had 2 presidents before Heydar Aliyev (father of current president), but they failed at their diplomacy. We needed trusted people who worked for Azerbaijan to develop after USSR dissolution in 1991. So propaganda on "dictator" shouldn't make people have biased opinions about Azerbaijan.

    0:50 fun fact: defibrillators aren’t actually used after a heart completely stops. When a heart completely stops CPR is the method used. A defibrillator is used for an irregular heartbeat. This usually occurs at the beginning of a heart attack which usually is why the functions of a defibrillator are confused with CPR, since most people will see someone have a heart attack and see a defibrillator being used and just assume it’s to start the heart again, but really it’s because the heart is functioning irregularly. If a heart is stopped in this case, which I’m assuming it likely is, CPR is the correct method to be used. This myth has always kind of bugged me since it’s really really really common, but hopefully whoever is reading this has learned a little more and for anyone who doesn’t believe me you are permitted to look it up yourself if you’d like :)
    Edit: changed the time stamp to 0:50 from 0:55

    • @emilystone3758
      @emilystone3758 Год назад

      There are two shockable rhythms in cardiac arrest: ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. You attempt to shock in between rounds of CPR. The defibrillators available in stores/schools/other public areas can detect if it is one of these shockable rhythms or if it’s asystole (flat line) or PEA (pulseless electrical activity). So, in TV shows when they show a flatline on the heart monitor and someone tries to shock it, that’s not real medicine, BUT you do shock when there are irregular rhythms which aren’t allowing the heart to beat (cardiac arrest).

The only interesting point is a minor one in the Turkmenchay treaty, stating that the Armenians of an area that is today Iranian Azerbaijan would be relocated to the newly-acquired Russian Caucasus land. Which means that there were was a consequent Armenian population all the way to Iranian Azerbaijan (there are still Armenian populations there btw), Which thus means that the regions in-between these lands and modern day Armenia are likely to be inhabited by even more Armenian. Guess which land precisely corresponds to that description ? Artsakh.

      I’m sorry, but the news outlets are not accurately covering this conflict. They are choosing to cover stories from the President (who hasn’t even been fact checked). Take a moment to think why armenia, the small country of 3 million not supported by anyone, would attack Azerbaijan (a country of 10 million people backed by Turkey with 80 million people and Israel who are providing military weapons). Armenians are being oppressed, any vice refusing to cover the side of Armenians!!! Armenia is defending themselves, not attacking!! Can you please fact check everything you post, stop spreading information to the public without fact checking. Sushi has been Historically Armenian lands and Armenian are being kicked out of their homes, their homeland that’s belonged to armenian for thousands of years. Azerbaijan wasn’t even a country when Armenians lived in the nagorno karabakh region. Shame on you Vice. The American public are just trying to learn and be educated, CORRECTLY.

    For those who says that Aliyev doesn't make an eye contact, it's mainly because English is not his first language and throughout a day he speaks in 3 languages (Azeri, Russian and English) so he should think before the conversation and probably he translate it inside of his head. I don't know if it makes sense to you but as a bilingual person I understand him. Like when I speak in my mother tongue I make eye contact but when I speak in other languages I have to choose words carefully so making an eye contact is not my main goal.

      @@bachvandals3259 A brainwash is in play, Armenia's PM calling for their diasporas to wage bloody war that from the beginning is unfavourable against their owns.
      As you can see, Azerbaijan more that happy to get less than half of occupied territories is showing blood isnt their main goal, but the land is.
