Halo 3: "Floodgate" - Legendary Speedrun Guide (Master Chief Collection)

Welcome to my MCC Legendary Speedrun Guides! Today we're tackling "Floodgate" from Halo 3 (Master Chief Collection).

i know I suck at speed runs but nailing my first par time achievement felt good. I followed a tiny bit of the video but i managed to get a good 6mins.I'm just an amateur to be honest.

I remember being able to do out of map glitches in this mission saved a lot of time and it was also fun

This is the only mission where I didn't feel threatened at all, my first easy heroic win.

Hoping to see the rest of this series soon... I've been enjoying MCC myself albeit at a much slower pace! I think you probably finished the entire Halo 1+2 campaigns in the time it took me to do "assault on Control Room" for the first time... (to be fair, I wasn't trying to go fast).

Could you try and make slower videos that talk us through some of the slightly more insane things you do? It wouldn't have to be a speed run, more of a little tutorial. I try to do a lot of these things when I play and always seem to mess it up somehow.

When i did the speed run i just used the BR to kill everything. The only tricky bit for killing everything and moving at a quick pace is the final section because of the transforming forms.
