Welcome to my MCC Legendary Speedrun Guides! Today we're crushing "Shutdown" from Halo 4 (Master Chief Collection).

@@stebeer8267 nah he just gave up on Halo / Xbox after they banned his tag and he went to school and had no time to dedicate to the community

@@Matanumi Naked was part of his username, even with disputes and talking to people that have connections couldn't get Xbox/Microsoft to let him off the hook. You'd think that someone with part of an achievement named "Naked Tyrant" would get the free pass.

The fact that you can pilot a Pelican immediately made this my favorite mission in Halo 4.
And then barely get to use it
A pelican…with no troops and only a handful of static Phantom targets to splaser from a distance

Composer is my favorite mission from Halo 4 so really looking forward to that one.
For the superjump, don't jump off the edge just use the jetpack when you're running, that's the trick.

How did you despawn all the enemies? I managed to do the jump only to get crushed by a hunter.

if he didn't jump when landing after the jetpack launch he coulda saved a second or 2 :/
IxxMaNiaCxxI He also wasted a few seconds at the very beginning as well, getting stuck behind the rail.
I think the beginning is on a timer. u can take ur time getting to the ship....idk i might be wrong

IxxMaNiaCxxI No, not from my experience. Whenever I play, the timer starts from the moment the opening cutscene ends and keeps counting until the very end. (The timer in MCC also doesn't reset/rewind by reverting to last checkpoints either, only by restarting the entire level). You can clearly see the timer in his run through counting in the bottom right corner during then.
no, i mean u can't activate the ship until the timer reaches a specific point like between 22-25. something like that

I know your probably not going to read this, If for some reason you do go on Facebook Please do. I've watched all of your Halo Speed Runs, The No shots and the Pacifists and I just think they're amazing, You're so good at halo and It makes me jealous I try to replicate your tactics and videos just so I can somehow finish in par time let alone in record time. Please do More No Shot and Pacifist runs because they're just amazing to watch, The amount of effort and thought you must put in makes the channel amazing. Please also upload Halo Reach And Halo 3 ODST before Halo 5 I've seen quite a few fans asking for it.

You fell while trying to get to the pelican at the beginning so i think that couldve been a second to shave off and if you jump out of the pelican on the final tower (The Hole in the Door) and get perfectly through it i think thats like a couple miliseconds or maybe even a second shaved off.
You can't get in the pelican at the beginning until a certain point in the dialogue. It wouldn't have mattered

the reason Eli hasnt posted much recently, is because he is weighed down with 80hours of work a week, meaning that he has ((24*7)-80) = the amount of hours he has free from work, including time spent sleeping, eating, driving, etc...
aka, he has 88 hours free from work to sleep, and do other things that he has to do to live, meaning that he cant do much youtubes.

That launch is a challenge to get right. Either it knocks you out, slams you into the wall, barely taps you or you miss. I spent at least 25 minutes to get it right.
At least I didn't have to deal with those hunters.
man I am struggling to get this launch down. I can't figure out why it kills me every time I do it the way shown in the video. perhaps if you have time, maybe you can help me perfect it or at least see what I am doing wrong
I'm don't have much advice on this part, I've only accomplished this launch successfully once so far. You will get killed a lot and sometimes the game will put you back to an earlier check point when you die too often. You will have to switch up your movements a little at a time until you find the sweet spots.

@@Heliocore man to be honest I forgot I commented this. I think I did do a few recordings but never got around to editing/uploading it. I wonder if I still have the files
I can do the launch but everytime I do it, it never gets me the speed that joker can do or as far.
I can also miss the launch and get splattered this is incredibly hard to do and I am doing it on legendary so fighting those mobs isn't an option.

it taked me around 45 mins to do it perfectly... jump and aim exactly where Joker did in this video. thats how I menage to do it! sorry for my bad english bro

When is ProAceJoker gonna get world record, it's been almost 3 weeks!
ive almost got a comprehension of this speedrun the hard part is getting smacked and bouncing of the walls though, at l least this will cut my speed run achievement time in half

Pure luck on the second floor. I tried the exact movements getting blown up most of the time. He only shows the one where he got it.

that mega jump is like impossible, cuz when i manage 1 out of 10 trys and getting over there i end up going too far
also thats if i even magae to launch myself, 1 out of 10 is a minimal assumption

I get the mega launch but I don't know how to propel myself onto the platform...I run out of jet pack fuel and I fall out of the world. Little help here?

This guide is pretty terrible, he just glosses over the fact that he magically despawned all of the enemies in the first room that he does that magic super jump in

GhostPrime12 I did it by watching his path and jet meter but still had to fight the Hunter 😒
TheFunderstorm, try to express yourself without coming off so butthurt. I realize that this is an old post that I am commenting on, so it's possible that life has already taught you this lesson. It's not going to serve you well.
When I try to speed run and have the competitve time on why doesnt it show the time anymore or is that just a glitch that im having?
Its a glitch that happens offen. Try using competitive scoring. It has a timer and works all the time

wtf is the point? Other than bragging rights for the world record, why would anyone want to play the mission this way? A FPS where you don't shoot anything != fun
