When the broadcast team started talking about the history of the Iron Bowl rivalry and not playing for that long, how it started. Man that made me excited. Madden commentary is not a hard bar to beat but that exceeded my expectations. I really feel like I'm a part of the game because thats what broadcast teams do. They dont always talk about whats happening on the field at the exact moment. That got me excited.

So at 11:51 is really neat and impressive to me, the fact now a player can fumble without going down themselves, as he was hit in the arms/hands and kept running down field but lost the ball, that’s a small but amazing detail I love it, also the audio feels electric

This is everything I’ve been wanting from a college football game my entire life, something the NCAA series could never do. I really hurt for the homies that didn’t make it and won’t get to experience this game.
Commentary sounds really good. The bands playing things besides the main fight songs and a few drumlines really adds to the atmosphere and realism. Crowd noise is great, but I think home field advantage is going to be TOO overpowered like it was in the mid-2000s NCAA games. But it's great to see the crowd react pretty realistically to what happens on the field. Wish we could've seen things like the coin toss, halftime, and quarter transitions. I saw a bit of the old NCAA 14 physics on a few tackles where players just randomly fell over in a way that didn't match how they were hit, and hope that gets updated before the final release. I kind of got into it almost like watching a real game. It definitely got me excited to play it.
Overall, the gameplay feels better than Madden, but they are time where the gameplay and logic looks ugly. I hope they can fix it though since it's just the beta.

I love the commentary but I wish they would be more chaotically loud with calling the play with a minute left and someone breaks away up field to take the lead… that brings way more craziness to the college football experience. Instead of rece saying he’s at the 30..20… have him say HES WIDE OPEN UP THE FIELD THEYRE GOING TO TAKE THE LEAD… make it crazy!
Just like NCAA 14 they haven't bothered to make end of game lead changes/walk-off wins any more exciting lmao I remember in NCAA 14 if you kicked a last minute FG it was "and they take the lead." In this game the crowd didn't even react to the winning fg.
I like how instead of tapping the button to throw a lob ball or holding down the button to throw an absolutely inaccurate dart, you hold the button down, fill up the meter and then throw a well balanced dime with the right speed and precision. It’s almost like a basketball shot meter now and I like it!
There were some replays that I was like " if I took that to my dad and asked him if it were real or video game I'm not sure what he would say." Incredible.

Haven’t purchased a football game since NCAA 12. This looks amazing and with the amount of teams / stadiums / and other modes it’ll keep me entertained a lot longer than any Madden ever would.

It needs to be physics based, until then its the same recycled animation sets from every previous game thrown together with an rng based algorithm dictating what happens on screen.
Its because theres still no physics or inertia, players have no real weight, its just a stat that affects other stats which affect which animation it can use at any given moment.
Yeah, I was definitely surprised by that. But it really adds some realism. I wonder if that will change years down the road in Dynasty mode to reflect recent games. It'd probably have to be pretty generic, but that would still be nice to hear.

Just like NCAA 14 they haven't bothered to make end of game lead changes/walk-off wins any more exciting lmao I remember in NCAA 14 if you kicked a last minute FG it was "and they take the lead." In this game the crowd didn't even react to the winning fg.

Why this is remarkable accurate and painful but awesome as an auburn fan
I like how instead of tapping the button to throw a lob ball or holding down the button to throw an absolutely inaccurate dart, you hold the button down, fill up the meter and then throw a well balanced dime with the right speed and precision. It’s almost like a basketball shot meter now and I like it!
I absolutely love how there’s automatic replays from different angles after every play
And people were crying about how it was going to be a madden reskin 😂
The gameplay is similar but the presentation, like prior ncaa games is far and away better
The actual core gameplay is the same, its still a madden reskin. Only time will tell if its polished enough to play better than madden.

For being a chill game, this was a pretty hotly contested game 😂
There were some replays that I was like " if I took that to my dad and asked him if it were real or video game I'm not sure what he would say." Incredible.
As a base cover 2 guy myself, you cannot run it on 3 and long with the offense showing 4-5 wrs. I’m only in the 2nd quarter. Hopefully you can pull off the comeback!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

The audio of the bands are great. Unfortunately, they gave every band black pants, even if it doesn't match with their school colors. And the animation for each band is not great. Most bands stand still when teams run on, but this game made every band member look like they need to use the bathroom on the field lol
The fact that commentary will cut off whatever bullshit they're talking about and interject when a big play happens is a massive step forward. Like at 5:35
Constantly hearing "This is our first down songgggg" after every first down makes it feel like i'm actually at Jordan-Hare.
Haven’t purchased a football game since NCAA 12. This looks amazing and with the amount of teams / stadiums / and other modes it’ll keep me entertained a lot longer than any Madden ever would.

The fumbling every drive is very realistic for auburn
The crowd noise, commentary, and pre-game entries are all excellent. I can't wait to play The Game if I ever get my hands on it. I have no idea how wonderful it will be.
It’s just still something off about the player models and tackling animations, I am very excited for the game but I hope they use a new engine in the future
It needs to be physics based, until then its the same recycled animation sets from every previous game thrown together with an rng based algorithm dictating what happens on screen.

Its because theres still no physics or inertia, players have no real weight, its just a stat that affects other stats which affect which animation it can use at any given moment.

Yeah, I was definitely surprised by that. But it really adds some realism. I wonder if that will change years down the road in Dynasty mode to reflect recent games. It'd probably have to be pretty generic, but that would still be nice to hear.
