Also maybe you can make it a “Race to rebuild”, where you invite multiple creators ( so more than one) to go against you in a rebuild, and in this case it would be 12 people.
Came here to say this. A college kicker making a 60 yard game winner is very unlikely. The developers even made it an emphasis saying in a live stream, with Tebow and Vick, that anything over 40+ is going to be tough.
Or how he sounds like an adult book reading a run on sentence like quit the cuts and take a breath so annoying it causes me to tune out trying to show this channel love
I do think the kicking distances need adjustment in the final build. This is the 3rd or 4th video where I’ve seen a kicker from a no name school bang a 60+ yarder with distance to spare. This is college. Maybe 2 kickers in the country make that and none of them go to Rice.

Great video. College Football 25 looks nice! Seems like progression of user controlled teams in dynasty might be broken though? It looked like as long as the user had a decent recruiting class (not even top 20) they'd easily progress to be the top ovr rated team. You had some solid recruiting classes but they were all in the 30-60ish range. So... it didn't really make sense that Sam Houston had one of the highest ovr rated teams in the country just a few years in. I understand that the coach can make a difference in regards to player progression but still the power 5 schools who were landing top 20 recruiting classes should have had a higher ovr. In the video it looked too easy to build a powerhouse team in just a few years.
It’s L2 + Square to slide, also your QB was like 1 game away from counting as a redshirt if you just waited until the Bowl games to use him. They can play 4 games + postseason and still count as redshirt
Adjusting his schedule before the season to try and go undefeated I feel also helps get recruits. Not like recruiting seems very hard in this build in the first place. But he is seemingly giving himself all the handicaps he can.
These specific rebuilds he’s doing are supposed to rebuild a team as quick as possible cause he’s gonna try and do one for every team and still tryna get a feel for the game. His more in depth and longer realistic rebuilds will probably come later.

The fact the first season at 7-5 is actually a realistic record for Sam Houston this season if their offense gets going early in the season. Their defense gave a lot of good teams last year fits. They're my Dark Horse for the C*USA this year.

Im still really looking forward to getting my hands on this game, but I really hope the day one and subsequent patches make it harder to build up your school overall, but more importantly nerf the smaller schools consdiently making the college football playoffs. Its weird when in year like 4 group of 5 conferences dominate the rankings. Undefeated, maybe 1 loss, sure. 2 loss, maybe in an insane year. 3, never. The game should also recognize making the playoffs doesn’t make you a championship contender, at least to a point. Yeah that grade should be higher if you have a chance of winning a group of 5 conference, but it should be anything above like a C+, unless you go on a run. It’s just not realistic.

Like for an example you can only make 4 different positions?! I can’t be the only one who has a problem with this . Like we can’t even make a TE or a Oline or a DLINE or a FS .. can’t grind your player from high school anymore this game is over rated . We have been so easy to please and that’s why these gaming companies don’t care how bad the game is cause they know people are gonna buy regardless how bad it really is. 4 years to success with Sam Houston is a little too fast for my liking. I dont want it impossible to recruit 4 and 5 stars at a small school like some people but there definitely needs to be some tuning down here especially with 4 star recruits. I think 6-8 years is a solid sweet spot between difficulty and not having a dynasty run too long for success even though the school IRL would take way longer. 4 years for a bottom tier school is just too fast.
I remember in all the deep dives how the devs kept talking about feeling the significant difference between small and big schools, but videos like one this prove them wrong.
Beyond excited for the game, but it seems way too easy to upgrade small schools after just one season. Gonna need house rules unless EA has addressed this before release.

I’m also planning on limiting myself to only recruit out of the “recommended” section. Since that’s what the CPU will be doing. Can’t wait to start grinding tomorrow.
@@HooDatBoyI believe that most content creators have been using the coach xp slider to make their coaches lvl up faster. I think if you crank that slider down a bit and maybe start as a coordinator you’re gonna get a much better experience

We desperately need a recruiting difficulty option, nobody even tries to go after one star or two star recruits since you can easily get 3 stars and even 4 stars with any team. (Yes, I know some ppl prefer the more arcade style, but having an option would be nice to also satisfy people who prefer more of a challenge and realism)

Although I’m less concerned about that because I personally can just not go after higher ranked players(I’ll probably only go after players recommended to me). I do think there should be a difficulty option. The bigger issue is the sim and more specifically the ranking. Charlotte winning in year 4 is mental enough especially when group of 5 teams seems to just over perform, I think the bigger issue is that Charlotte was the a top 4 highest ranked despite having 3 loses. That will never happen. Even a 4 loss big12 team is getting that nod over them. I hope the day one patch fixes some Of the ranking decisions and sim

Sounds like the dev teams needs to more weight on early playing time for teams with higher prestige. Early playing time at Sam Houston doesn’t compare to a team like Ohio State.

I feel like recuritting is way too easy. We're gonna have to either keep it realistic ourselves, or not add skill points to our coaches (outside of coordinators) as a handicap
he started with an already created coach instead of starting with a coach without skill points. there is an option to start with no points so that recruiting is brutal i did this at purdue and wyoming in my rebuilds and the process was grueling

Playing with two QBs is almost a must having a 2nd guy you trust. My running QB couldn't finish multiple games already which would've cost me the season if SMU didn't have two really good QBs

I am definitely a dynasty type of gamer. The key to doing getting much higher rated players is to win games like against Penn St. The key to winning those types of games is running. Be very good at running and you can win with almost any team because the computer tends to choke when the clock is running out.
You have to read more into the badges...his great stats are throw power but also deep throw accuracy. Check downs are ok but across the middle touch passes lead to picks! Love the game play!
I think I’m going to lean towards quantity when doing a rebuild. Like try to get 35 3* stars and pad the depth. Do the low lock open recruitment no scholarship cheese occasionally on a 4 * here and there but not waste resources

@@joshuathekid5116 problem is that it hasn’t just been CUSA teams. I’ve seen other RUclipsrs doing this with top teams. Same with the flea flicker being a free TD most times that i see it
We desperately need a recruiting difficulty option, nobody even tries to go after one star or two star recruits since you can easily get 3 stars and even 4 stars with any team. (Yes, I know some ppl prefer the more arcade style, but having an option would be nice to also satisfy people who prefer more of a challenge and realism)
@@ratlov9983 yeah recruiting does seem easy. Although I’m less concerned about that because I personally can just not go after higher ranked players(I’ll probably only go after players recommended to me). I do think there should be a difficulty option. The bigger issue is the sim and more specifically the ranking. Charlotte winning in year 4 is mental enough especially when group of 5 teams seems to just over perform, I think the bigger issue is that Charlotte was the a top 4 highest ranked despite having 3 loses. That will never happen. Even a 4 loss big12 team is getting that nod over them. I hope the day one patch fixes some

Wanting the (simulation) football game dynasty to be challenging, or at least have the option to set difficultly, is a completely reasonable take that has nothing to do with online dynasties. I’m still super hype for this game but there’s definitely some stuff that needs tuning
SHS has never signed a 4 star before in real life, but one signs in year 1 on here 😭 praying the game is more realistic than this

The main thing that I learned from this video is that Liberty doesn’t belong in Conference USA
Do a rebuild of a conference with fully custom teams ( and yes I mean kick all teams out of a said conference and have only custom teams there) and have all Ivy League teams, Alaska, GRU, Coast guard, And Maybe a Canada college ( Toronto college Mountaineers). Also maybe you can make it a “Race to rebuild”, where you invite multiple creators ( so more than one) to go against you in a rebuild, and in this case it would be 12 people.
This is way to specific of an idea for anyone but you and like 9 other people to be genuinely interested in these exact specifications

I feel like recuritting is way too easy. We're gonna have to either keep it realistic ourselves, or not add skill points to our coaches (outside of coordinators) as a handicap

If you see he gets higher ranked prospects but his actual recruiting class isn't good
he started with an already created coach instead of starting with a coach without skill points. there is an option to start with no points so that recruiting is brutal i did this at purdue and wyoming in my rebuilds and the process was grueling
@@clarklandon9906 I ended up starting as an OC at Sam Houston. Have Recruiting on auto at the moment, since I figured a year one OC wouldn't have much say so over recruiting lol. Seeing our targets and signees has been brutal lmaoo . Can't wait to actually take over and do it myself

The key to doing getting much higher rated players is to win games like against Penn St. The key to winning those types of games is running. Be very good at running and you can win with almost any team because the computer tends to choke when the clock is running out.

I think I’m going to lean towards quantity when doing a rebuild. Like try to get 35 3* stars and pad the depth. Do the low lock open recruitment no scholarship cheese occasionally on a 4 * here and there but not waste resources
