There's an event called Flower War (1454-1519), a "war" that made for the purpose of getting human sacrifice for the gods. This main objective of this war is to produce human sacrifices, so the battle goal is to maim or disable the opponents so they can be used for human sacrifices. Although it says to maim the opponents, there are no guarantee that no one will die. There are 5 cities (tribes?) that participates during this flower war. The Aztecs thought that their own warriors who died in a flower war would be transported to the heaven where Huitzilopochtli (the supreme god of sun, fire, and war) lived. I think this Flower war will be the basis of Natlan and the Archon Quests for 5.0

1:20 the increasing of tempo then the slowing down and entrance of cheering and wind instruments (are they? i am not sure) while Mavuika is revealed will always give me goosebumps. the music is incredible
yeah! this time around they didn't go for the mysterious tension they did in Fontaine's teaser, but they totally managed to create this glorious, competitive atmosphere with tension build-up for Mavuika and pulled a 180 to the (I guess) lore heavier implications when the scene in the cave started. I love the music and can't wait for the live concert in 5.0s special program

the ball was only to represent the ones who were chosen and i do think it happens in the future, in next act in fact cuz pilgrimage is not over, only suspended and next part of it will be about choosing the next Archon Mavuika plans to hold it before dying imo, to leave a suitable replacement for herself

Some people make theories that this teaser is basically the end of Archon Quest by helding next tournament (The Ball is basically the invitation letter). Then the Traveler and Paimon are possibly on their way to Snezhnaya when this happens.
Few theory’s I got for Natlan. Neuvi said that natlan was a land of war and dragons. When I first heard war I assumed it would be kinda like inazuma where the people are constantly engaged in battles but now I believe that the war they are referring to would be this tournament(Maybe like “war games”?). Dragons might mean that people from natlan might have dragon blood in their bodies instead of being real dragons.
Also at the end of the trailer that lady said “with our blood we will forge our true fates”. The blood here is probably referring to their dragon blood, so my hypothesis is maybe they will all try to turn into “real dragons” to somehow unlock their “true fate”.(again merely speculation).

@@SolaireOfToastAgree unfortunately. The trailer is definitely more “animated” which increases the complexity, but older trailers looked more polished in my opinion. I also don’t like the dendro guy’s angle (perspective is off) in one of the first shots, or Iansan’s overly detailed but flat hair. With that said, some shots looked really good, and the music is really excellent in my opinion.

You know, I’ve noticed that in some regions that there aren’t any characters that have a certain vision. Monstadt doesn’t have any Dendro characters, Sumeru doesn’t have any Geo characters, and right now, it seems that Natlan is devoid of any Electro characters.
Mondstadt doesn't have Dendro characters cause they have gotten one character after dendro released and Ororan looks like he could be either anemo or electro.
Little things I’ve noticed -we have no Electro characters yet seen, nor Anemo (none confirmed anyways) -all of the characters are from the tribes, but hydro and geo child are seemingly in the same one -Our supposed pyro archons earrings are like the pyro abyss heralds -where the beginning part is intro’d, you can see a space in the back where it looks like a huge yacht or something of the sort, the reason why I think this is because of all the connecting decks that have the vibe of a boats floor, plus it’s a shark so I mean like cmon -you can see our lil Dendro Xiao swinging by the tail of the pixel Dino thingy in a shot, not the first appearance but still. Maybe it’s his way of moving like spider man -our old goober from the initial genshin trailer thing has been modified!- at least, I think. Now they have elf ears! -at the battle ground area, you can see tubes flowing towards the upper area, they might be musical instruments but I’m unsure -Pyro ladies Outfit has a huge zipper in the front, much like a biker, but it could also be a design clue since everything in this area has triangles, likely due to the area natlan is based off of. -Pyro lady seems to be able to turn into a Phoenix! She also has fancy shoes that seem mecha (maybe a hint to HI3 Himeko?) -The pattern on the backside of Pyro ladies hair seems like a solios pattern (like sun rays from a child’s drawing or tribal drawings of the sun) -Hydro girl is based off of a seal, she even has a seal plushie wrapped around her wrist, and her hair is designed like it’s fins

Why is no one talking about Mavuika? She has, in my opinion, one of the BEST hair designs in all of Genshin. It’s so ethereal looking, which, assuming she is most likely the Pyro Archon, really fits her character to a tea! I’m so glad that Mihoyo has started putting female characters in actual pants and suits, it’s such a refreshing change. The designs are phenomenal, they all look so pretty and unique!

Yeah, The gradient of Reddish-orange and an orangy yellow makes it really seem like burning flames. Her outfit is kinda reminding me of a lot of the Battle Suits in HI3, especially with the winged shows.

After archon quest 3&4 it seems like this trailer might actually be a glimpse of Natlan in the future where they hold a Mesoamerican ball game tournament instead of the pilgrimage to see who will fight in the Night Warden Wars

Some people make theories that this teaser is basically the end of Archon Quest by helding next tournament (The Ball is basically the invitation letter). Then the Traveler and Paimon are possibly on their way to Snezhnaya when this happens.
Few theory’s I got for Natlan. Neuvi said that natlan was a land of war and dragons. When I first heard war I assumed it would be kinda like inazuma where the people are constantly engaged in battles but now I believe that the war they are referring to would be this tournament(Maybe like “war games”?). Dragons might mean that people from natlan might have dragon blood in their bodies instead of being real dragons.
Also at the end of the trailer that lady said “with our blood we will forge our true fates”. The blood here is probably referring to their dragon blood, so my hypothesis is maybe they will all try to turn into “real dragons” to somehow unlock their “true fate”.(again merely speculation).
So Natlaners are basically Targaryens.

I also don’t like the dendro guy’s angle (perspective is off) in one of the first shots, or Iansan’s overly detailed but flat hair. With that said, some shots looked really good, and the music is really excellent in my opinion.

-we have no Electro characters yet seen, nor Anemo (none confirmed anyways)
-all of the characters are from the tribes, but hydro and geo child are seemingly in the same one
-Our supposed pyro archons earrings are like the pyro abyss heralds
-where the beginning part is intro’d, you can see a space in the back where it looks like a huge yacht or something of the sort, the reason why I think this is because of all the connecting decks that have the vibe of a boats floor, plus it’s a shark so I mean like cmon
-you can see our lil Dendro Xiao swinging by the tail of the pixel Dino thingy in a shot, not the first appearance but still. Maybe it’s his way of moving like spider man
-our old goober from the initial genshin trailer thing has been modified!- at least, I think. Now they have elf ears!
-at the battle ground area, you can see tubes flowing towards the upper area, they might be musical instruments but I’m unsure
-Pyro ladies Outfit has a huge zipper in the front, much like a biker, but it could also be a design clue since everything in this area has triangles, likely due to the area natlan is based off of.
-Pyro lady seems to be able to turn into a Phoenix! She also has fancy shoes that seem mecha (maybe a hint to HI3 Himeko?)
-The pattern on the backside of Pyro ladies hair seems like a solios pattern (like sun rays from a child’s drawing or tribal drawings of the sun)
-Hydro girl is based off of a seal, she even has a seal plushie wrapped around her wrist, and her hair is designed like it’s fins

Why is no one talking about Mavuika? She has, in my opinion, one of the BEST hair designs in all of Genshin. It’s so ethereal looking, which, assuming she is most likely the Pyro Archon, really fits her character to a tea! I’m so glad that Mihoyo has started putting female characters in actual pants and suits, it’s such a refreshing change. The designs are phenomenal, they all look so pretty and unique!
Yes! I've seen some people say she doesn't give out an Archon feel, but for a nation that seems to be based on these games, the design is VERY fitting!

Yeah, The gradient of Reddish-orange and an orangy yellow makes it really seem like burning flames. Her outfit is kinda reminding me of a lot of the Battle Suits in HI3, especially with the winged shows.
@@Starnight_Sky Look, people have said that about every Archon not named Zhongli. Raiden was called "Playable Ying'r" and stuff, Venti outside of his hair looks like just another Bard, Furina didn't feel "Archon-like", etc.
